If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

Stats to follow.

olis my first af was nothing like normal so I think anything goes, although could it be implantation bleeding?!

collie if you go to gp and say you are confused about dates they will probably offer you an early dating scan so might be worth a try?

Anyway I'm cooking myself in the car so this is a quick one (first day out without a coat - lush!)

vegas sweet, that's what we're here for, we're here to support you through highs and lows. The wtf cycle is shit, the worst ever cause you're more concious than ever of waiting for af, and if things have gone back to normal. Remind me how long it's been now? Do you know how many days it's been since you stopped bleeding? Being full of a cold will make you feel bad as well. (((hugs)))

ok i'm going to take advantage of ds being at nursery and have a nice bath. I will speak to you all in a bit.

ooh just saw this Shamrock

Hi girls,

Have been away for a good few weeks...or maybe a couple of months now. Promised I´d be lurking, despite given up on fretting about TTC but I haven´t had the time to come in and lurk or even say hi.
Im off sick this week with a real bad tummy bug Sad so it has given me the chance to pop in and say a big HELLO to all of you dearies.

As most of you know I wanted to concentrate on losing weight to improve my chances of TTC and started my blog about losing weight. Its going ok but slowly. Life is just too hectic. Still see some of you around on fb but not sure if you all made it public yet.

So pleased to see so many of you have made it onto the BFP list.Grin
.....and sorry to see lots of newbies here.
wishing you lots of luck on your TTC journey Sad

My DD is the weekend. Not getting any hopes up this month. (See I am still really brainwashed with it all, even though Im not here with you lot)

Shamrock BIG WAVES OF LUCK FOR YOU ALL Shamrock

olismum23 · 17/03/2011 12:13

yes its my WTF cycle its grinding me down im really worried now because of the pain then the pink CM that something may be wrong :(

cep · 17/03/2011 12:40

vegas it took me 5 weeks to get mine. you have a plan which sounds good, if you haven't had it by 6 weeks speak to your gp and get some reassurance. I'm sure it'll come along soon.

choccy glad to see you're lossing weight although Sad about the stomach bug, fx your better soon. Hope the weekend goes well for you.

oli if you are worried about it book a gp app, tell them you've been ttc have been getting these pains and the blood, see what they say. I think it's best to get checked at least then you know you're ok.

olismum23 · 17/03/2011 13:04

Tried cep the quickest i can get is a telephone consult next week :( you used to be able to phone up that morning and get an appointment but they have changed all there systems nevermind eh? good luck with everything on mon cep

banana87 · 17/03/2011 13:04

Oh shit Oh shit Oh shit. I went back and looked. There's a faint line. It's not evap because its pink. I also pulled the other one from 7 DPO and there is nothing there, oh shit oh shit.

meliesmummy · 17/03/2011 13:30

Another bfp?!! Today's a lucky day! Congratulations banana!!!! Grin

(ps can it a lucky day for me? Can a little swimmer win the race? Please?)

meliesmummy · 17/03/2011 13:35

And can I nominate myself to start the next thread if no one minds? It worked for collie after all! Grin

cep · 17/03/2011 14:07

oli that can't be their emergency system surely. that's ridiculous. (and thankyou)

banana how long after was it? (keeping fx)

mel i don't mind. means you'll have to keep ontop of posts so it's there when this one finishes. big responsibility you know....Grin Wink

collie what did dh say?

hv said, weight fine, (phew fat does run in my family) height actually fine. not much said that i didn't really know about the fear, age group imagination running riot etc, not to get him used to getting in our bed or me sitting in his room, but otherwise do what i'm doing. i've just got to be a bit stricter i think, it's heartbreaking though when he's sobbing out of fear (supposedly.) i've bought him a training clock from amazon, not quite like the one yrmotb showed this one has a moon and sun should also hopefully have the option of showing the digital clock as well. i've moved some things in his room, and hope like hell he'll stay, i don't really mind sitting in there in the evening for 5 mins (when he actually stays in bed, has started acting up) but really don't want to do it if he wakes up.

MummyAbroad · 17/03/2011 14:10

Whats that you say about a line banana??!!Grin

banana87 · 17/03/2011 14:17

It's only faint, don't get too excited MummyA...will take another Saturday and a digital Monday THEN it can be confirmed/denied. :)

Ninunina · 17/03/2011 14:19

collie congratulations. Quickly saw your post this morning before dashing to work and jumped with joy.

banana bfp for you too. What an exciting day this has turned out to be. Have you done another one?

cep I'm off to Malta tonight. Can't wait. Going to tell my parents and best friends the news. They will be surprised since back home they encourage ppl to wait 3 months to try again after mc, so I might get a few lectures.

cep · 17/03/2011 14:21

ooh have a fabulous time ninu

MummyAbroad · 17/03/2011 14:29

Collie got a BFP too?!! Grin
congratulations!! Grin

banana Cant help thinking this is it, because mine started out like that - only visible an hour after the test - will keep my fingers crossed for you that confirmation comes up nice and clear!!

securegal · 17/03/2011 16:25

Woo hooo! Massive congratulations Collie and Banana - what a wonderful day!! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you both!

Cep how are things with you today?

I have had an interesting morning. I just went to see the consultant for my follow-up appointment, two weeks after my ERPC. He seemed generally very positive and said that they had sent 'tissue' away for testing and hadn't found any abnormalities. I ended up going to a private hospital for the op (I am luck enough to have health insurance through my job - pay sucks, but the benefits make it worthwhile!!). Unfortunately the NHS diagnosed my MMC on 2 March but couldn't schedule an ERPC until 18 March Shock. I just couldn't face a wait of over two weeks and so used my insurance and went in for the procedure the following day. Now, the interesting thing today was that the consultant has prescribed me Cyclogest (progesterone?) and 75mg asprin for use as soon as I get a positive pregnancy test. He said that the NHS will usually wait for 3 miscarriages before prescribing it, but that it won't do any harm, and it could spare me the pain of going through all this again. What do you all think? Does this seem like a good thing? I feel quite comforted by it (although it did cost me £80 for the prescription Shock). Have any of you got any experience of Cyclogest?

Huge congrats again to the BFP ladies today!! xxx

olismum23 · 17/03/2011 16:50

Omg there are more people pregnant on this thread than not!Grin

Collie2 · 17/03/2011 17:00

banana ohhhhh sounds promising! Mines only a faint line too, but hoping it will get stronger. Are you really going to hold out till sat? I'm even debating poas again tonight! Blush

Vegas please don't feel like you can't come on here on your dark days and share what you're going through. As cep said it's what we're here for, and the best of us have had our share of venting, moaning and stressing! X

SG don't know much about baby asprin but think your consultant was lovely. All too often in the nhs are you just reminded how frequent and common mc. It's like the emotional cost is forgotten, or just accepted.

cep dh thrilled but being v cautious. Kept catching him sneaking the odd glimpse at the line this morn though, no doubt checking! Smile

cep · 17/03/2011 17:31

securegal not too bad no blood so far today (touch wood) a bit of an ache on my right hand of tum, but as some aches are normal i'm trying hard not to worry. I'm sat zip open massaging ache with hand, ds keeps patting my stomach "mummys tummy".

no idea about the baby aspirin, may be worth doing a thread on it. i do hate the fact you have to pay for each item on the prescription.

collie have you kept it for comparison? Grin

i know this is ridiculous but i'm actually pretty nervous about poas tomorrow. yesterday was pos so why wouldn't tomorrow. duh.

Collie2 · 17/03/2011 18:36

Feeling a bit wobbly about this line already. Had mild lower groin pains for past week or so, but yesterday started with stomach ache/pain which has gradually got worse as day gone on. Got what feels line constant stitch on low right side of tummy Confused Sad

Totally beat too. Not slept well pass 4 nights, currently in bed trying to catch a nap.

Good luck xx

cep · 17/03/2011 19:45

collie i've been getting pains for the whole 5-6 weeks it's only really just stopped at 6 weeks, athough today i was getting some aches and still am. Don't forget it is natural to get some aches cause your uterus starts preparing and stretching already. FX that's all it is. get an early night and a good night sleep.

oli good luck hon, do let us know what happens.

brooke89 · 17/03/2011 20:36

omg! all these bfps today what have i missed?!

congratulations for you all fx for you and everyone else. xxx
