If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

ok that's 3 of us who have now all said we are too big to get back into our wedding dresses, that's not a good advert for marriage. i remember a picture in one of those jokey marriage books - a fat couple sat in armchairs, in the background a picture of a thin couple on their wedding day, quote "our love has grown over the years"

cep · 09/03/2011 14:49

mel i know sounds horrible to wish vomiting for people doesn't it Grin

meliesmummy · 09/03/2011 14:51

I think i'd still fit into mine, it's just too fiddly at the back, I was 12 weeks pg at the time tho!

Chloe55 · 09/03/2011 14:55

I held my corset up to me a few months ago, there is no way on God's Earth that I would ever get back in it Sad

Collie2 · 09/03/2011 14:55

thanks cep X No unfortunately jobs are not safe Sad I work for a pct which will be totally abolished in 2013, and in the meantime there role will be dwindling. They (the gov) are putting interim arrangements in place but for now what's going to happen and when is as clear as mud. So for now there a real lack of moral and motivation to start new projects when it could all be wastes effort. Hopefully things will be clearer in the summer. For now I'd just like to have focus at work to keepe busy and a guarantee of a job do I can still have mat leave if I ever get a bfp!

Sorry your sickness is all day. I found there was no real time pattern to mine although it eased around 2-3pm but kicked off again later in the day. It was also much much worse on days when I had a bad nights sleep. Just try and get some rest b4 your party on fri x

meliesmummy · 09/03/2011 15:22

Sorry cep.... But like I said I was pg...
I blame all of you for forcing me to go and see my dress, which woke dd up!

cep · 09/03/2011 15:34

hey!!! you can't blame us for dd waking up. Grin wouldn't pictures do???

Collie2 · 09/03/2011 15:39

I have work to be going cep but it's all self generating at the moment so sometimes it's hard to motivate myself. I'm generally good at keeping myself motivated, but when you have other things on your mind it's hard. Anyway, enough of my work-moan. I shoukd be grateful I have a job!

Aww melies I want to see my dress!!

OP posts:
cep · 09/03/2011 15:51

i can see that being the case collie. i work on telephony i have people phoning (sometimes it seems just) to shout and swear at me. i'm so glad i only work p/t idon't think i could o it all day and remain sane.
Where is your dress?

Collie2 · 09/03/2011 15:53

cep people can just be do rude and mean. But I thought you worked in a pet shop.... Or am I confused with someone else?

Dress in attic in a box. Way to much hassle to get it, it's jam packed up there.

cep · 09/03/2011 16:07

nope not me, knowing my luck i'd get bitten by the animals. ah, probably the safest place, mines in it's clothes bag thing in the wardrobe i think it's only cause i'm too big for it now that i don't try it on at least every week. Grin

meliesmummy · 09/03/2011 16:07

I never got round to putting mine in the attic, it takes up half the wardrobe instead!

Hi to Collie

lily06 · 09/03/2011 17:23

Afternoon,

Gosh, lots to read today!!

Blackkat So sorry to hear about your Dad. Hope you are ok.

Collie It's me that has the pet shop. No animals to get bitten by though!

MumTum Yup, we're definately twins...I got married in Mexico too, at the Riu Cancun. Which hotel are you going to? The dresses you've been looking at are lovely - it was me that asked for the pics, so thanks. Have you looked at Dessy? They do some nice light chiffon ones, especially for getting married abroad. I can also second the recommendation for Bravissimo, I buy all my bras from there. I'm another that wouldn't get into my dress again now. Pic if you want to have a peep Wedding

Chloe OOOhhhh twins - now that would be a success story indeed. Keeping fx for you this month.

Ninu Exellent news!!!

Cep Yay for the sickness, long may it continue Smile

No news here, still too early to test, no sign of ov (from temps) will wait it out a while yet I think. Pancakes tonight, best go and get on with making tea.

cep · 09/03/2011 17:28

vegas i'm 5+4 today, not too bad, feeling a bit sick today a bit better now, i can eat my dinner without wanting to be too sick. when was/is your trip to america??

blackkat Typical that you have to walk past epu, it always seems to be. Just be kind to yourself ok? make sure you have lots of tlc aswell when you get home.

Thanks. Smile it was a fantastic trip so pleased we were able to have our friends with us. we spoilt ourself rotten had the honeymoon suite which had a jacuzzi on the balcony and a view of the sea, there was a spa there which dh and i spent at least half of our trip there.

cep · 09/03/2011 17:31

lily gorgeous dress. you look fantastic Grin. did they tell dh to lift you?? they told my dh to lift me (the whole over the threshold look but on the beach) but dh started making stupid groaning noises so ofcourse everyone around was laughing. Blush enjoy your pancakes.

Reallyusefulengine · 09/03/2011 17:39

Hello all, I hope you don't mind me joining you. Cep kindly led me here from the November 11 thread. I have just found out that I have a Pregnancy of Unknown location, which is most likely an ectopic and I'm booked in for a laparascopy tomorrow (it would help if I could actually spell that right).

My hcg levels are actually rising well but there's no sign in my uterus (had my 3rd scan of the week today) and I've had an ectopic before my 2 dc. Because they're now over 2000 and there's no sign in the uterus my doctor is very uncomfortable about leaving it untreated. Apparently it's quite an unusual case as I have no symptoms Confused

Could I be here with you girls? Am actually feeling really relieved now I know it's not viable and I'm having a big glass of wine, which I think is a sign of acceptance. I cried all the way to the scan this morning but didn't cry at all afterwards.

The weirdest things have been happening, and I'm not naturally superstitious. My ds and I made a gorgeous chocolate cake yesterday and we had iced it and everything and it fell off the work surface and smashed everywhere. And then today a single magpie was standing right in my path.

Right, now I sound like a crazy old witch. Apologies Smile.

Blackkat · 09/03/2011 17:40

lily love the dress!!

So this wedding chittle chat is making me want to get married again, and somewhere sunny, think October in Yorkshire when I got married! My dress is in a bag somehwere and I've never even had it dry cleaned Blush
Will find a picture to post.

Bravissimo are brilliant, totally agree, even for DD me!

meliesmummy · 09/03/2011 17:42

lily you look lovely, it's nice to be able to put faces to names (just don't ask me to do it bcos I've no idea how to link a fb photo to a post!

blackkat thats bad luck having to walk past epu to see your dad, it must be hard.

Blackkat · 09/03/2011 17:42
