BeeMyBaby · 31/01/2011 06:44

I'm finding the wait a bit dull... ttc alot, but I've no idea when ovulation etc is and am not yet at the stage where I want to test my temperature ... I keep reading friends FB updates about them expecting and it just makes the wait worse. Perhaps I should de-friend them? Envy

MummyBerryJuice · 31/01/2011 16:14

IKWYM Bee. The wait is rather irritatating.

LPO · 31/01/2011 16:39

MummyBerryJuice · 31/01/2011 17:42

I knowSad

Am feeling very down today, partly because of the hpt but also because DS is so poorly, again. We've recently come back from South Africa (where my family live) where he was admitted after having Febrile convulsions. And now he has an ear infection. Yesterday evening his temperature was up to 40.5 degrees and I was petrified that he was going to fit again.

Today has been a lot better but he his temp is starting t go back up again.

So I'm feeling very fragile n

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 31/01/2011 19:32

So sorry mummyberry sounds like an all round crap week. I'll keep my fingers crossed though - it ain't over till the fat AF sings!

Hi goingmad - fingers crossed for you too!

My waiting starts now - I'm a fully paid up member of Symptoms Spotters Anonymous and I really hate ths bit.

goingmadtrying · 31/01/2011 19:59

Mummyberry hope you feeling better tomorrow big hugs xxx

wicketkeeper and lpo thanks for the good wishes I'll try to resist the temptation to pop over to tesco tomorrow morning to get another test :o

babybythesea · 31/01/2011 20:28

Can I join the party?!
We are TTC#2. #1 was really quick - thought we'd be trying for ages and then the 1st time of trying, the test I did came out positive - shocked us both. This time it is taking longer which is harder to take because we both assumed it would be as easy as before. Ho hum. Got all excited last month - sore boobs, 3 days late, but then majorly painful cramps and a visit from AF. Think I may have had a very very early MC, but although I was gutted for the first day or two I have decided to see it as a baby that would never have survived which is why Mother Nature stepped in.
So, we try again. And again....
Apparently, we should be all systems go tonight. Have banned DH from watching anything 'interesting' that goes on past 11.00 - he seems to get caught up in movies and things that run until midnight or beyond - not tonight, he's not!!!
Not that I'm excited, or over-optimistic, but this should give us a baby arrival date of Oct 27th!

Am off to tidy kitchen now and recite mantra: "I will not get excited until I know there is something to be excited about. I will not build hopes this time."
Good luck to everyone.

BeeMyBaby · 31/01/2011 22:24

welcome babybythesea, will everyone addtheir stats (if they want) so we can make a nice long fancy list (to amuse each other while we wait).

goingmadtrying · 01/02/2011 07:39

Good morning everyone, feeling down this morning and definately feel like the dreaded AF is on it's way feeling crampy and fed up :(

Stats:
babybythesea 34yo TTC #2

Had to spend far too long working out how old I am in order to do this. Am now doubting whether my brain is in good enough working order to be allowed responsibility for 2 kids. If I have a hard time keeping track of me, I'd never manage keeping track of 2 of them!!

LivingDeadGirl · 01/02/2011 12:55

Greetings all!

I hope you don't mind if I join in. 32yo TTC #1

DH and I have been SWI for a few weeks but to no avail. No sign of AF since some spotting for a few days just before Xmas. My cycle has probably gone all haywire due to Depo Provera working it's way out of my system (last injection was July). Needless to say I have no idea where I am in my cycle. Have tested a couple of times but got BFN. Do you think it's worth seeing the doc now or maybe hang fire for a bit longer and test again?

goingmadtrying · 01/02/2011 13:26

mummyberry hows your ds today any better?? have you managed to test today or any sign of your AF. Im doing my own head in waiting to test AF due tomorrow so may go out and get one for in the morning :)

LivingDeadGirl when I thought I would have difficulties conceiving when I was younger, I was told that you normally would wait for a year, unless you knew there was something wrong (ie PCOS), in which case try for 6 months and then see GP to be reffered.

goingmadtrying · 01/02/2011 16:42
