Hi there,

TTC #2, starting this month.
Anybody else out there thinking new year, new baby?

Currently OV, first attempts this month.

I think I've just got a BFP - can't quite believe it though. It's pretty faint (tesco preg test) but it's definitely there and with a pinkish hue.
After nearly a year of trying I can't quite believe it. Still feel very AF-ish though so not sure what's going on.
Fingers crossed.
Hope the rest of you are going well with your pregnancies. Some must be nearing the end now? Smile

LPO · 16/11/2011 06:24

Oh wow that is great news!!! I felt like AF for about 2 weeks after AF was due. I'd say try again in a couple of days and see if the pink line gets darker?

Very pleased for you!!!!
I'm 4 months now and have my scan on Monday to find out the sex.

BeeMyBaby · 16/11/2011 13:26

Blue, is your AF late yet? Maybe time to splash out on a clearblue test...

blue22 · 16/11/2011 14:41

I've done 2 internet cheapies and 2 more Tesco hpt and they're all definitely positive. Not quite as strong as with DD, but definitely definitely pink lines. No squinting needed etc.
Period due today or tomorrow, but think it's safe to say I'm pregnant!!!!! YAY!!!

BeeMyBaby · 16/11/2011 18:27

yay blue!!!

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 17/11/2011 23:19

Woohoo blue!!

That's great news. Really pleased to hear things are going well for you too, LPO.

Bee, you must be heading into your last couple of weeks now - be sure to let us know about your bundle when (s)he arrives!

I'm 26 weeks now - and still sick! It's going to go till full term again this time, I think, and my obstetrician said the same Sad. But the baby seems well, so that's the main thing.

LPO · 25/11/2011 10:07

Blue how is everything going now? Still getting that lovely pink line??

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 03/01/2012 00:40

How are things going, LPO and blue?

And any news for us, bee?

BeeMyBaby · 05/01/2012 23:46

I have a 5 week old girl called Hawwa (born 1st Dec) and I know I am incredibly lucky to have her within a year of joining this thread (although we started TTC a couple of months beforehand but I was late to jump on a bus). You must be due in a couple of weeks wicket?

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 10/01/2012 17:21

Yay! Congratulations, Bee and welcome Hawwa!

I'm 34 weeks now, so on the home straight (thank goodness - STILL sick!)

Hope you're doing ok, LPO and Blue

FlirtyThirty · 10/01/2012 18:29

Hello ladies! Can I join you?
DS is 2 and a half and we're just starting to TTC #2 (cycle 1; CD13).
I conceived first cycle last time and am totally, and ridiculously, paranoid it's going to take ages this time. As always, the hardest thing for me is actually fining time to have sex!!

Good luck everyone! X

BeeMyBaby · 12/01/2012 08:49

Hi flirty you're we;come to join us, but you may prefer to join a Jan 2012 thread as this is a pretty quiet thread as most people have either conceived or moved onto a different thread.

LPO · 16/01/2012 18:47

That's wonderful news bee congratulations to you!!
Wicket Sorry to hear you are still sick, but so pleased you are on the last few weeks now, exciting times ahead for you :)

We're doing well, I am 25 weeks now and have been told that I am expecting a little girl.

Blue I hope you check in on this thread at some point, we would all love to hear how you are getting on.

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 17/01/2012 22:28

So pleased it's going well for you, LPO - wee girls are great!

And yes, we'd love to hear from you blue

BeeMyBaby · 19/01/2012 13:52

ooo LPO it should be around summer when she's born so you will be able to put her cute dresses! wicket do you know what gender you're having?

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 19/01/2012 14:41

Nope, but I do know it's a trouble maker. It's lying funny. We've been through breech, now back to head down but at a weird oblique angle that means the head can't get into the pelvis. Really don't mind if it's blue or pink, just want it to be able to come out ok!

LPO · 08/02/2012 14:03

Wicket Have you got any news yet on your new arrival? I hope that everything is going well for you.

OP posts:
TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 08/02/2012 15:48

Hi,

I'm due on the 19th. No sign of anything happening yet, but I'm happy with that as still got quite a lot more to do! The baby is lying properly now, so all good to go. It's big sister was 6 days over, so I'm kind of expecting this one won't be early. Still nauseated and increasingly knackered and uncomfortable, though!

How are you getting on? When's your EDD?

BeeMyBaby · 19/02/2012 17:10

wicket - is today the day?! You having baby at st Johns/ERI/home? (I think you said you were in Edinburgh).

blue22 · 19/02/2012 19:19

Hi lovely ladies. Congrats Bee, what a lovely name.
I've just found this thread again - it's been a stressful few weeks after bad 12 week scan. I had a CVS though and all is clear; I'm having a baby girl and am currently 18 weeks. I've got some extra heart scans though due to the soft heart marker at 12 weeks, and a high-ish nuchal. I'm feeling quite positive though that all will be ok.
Good luck to all those due soon!

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 19/02/2012 20:46

Great news, Bee!

Well, Tess Rebecca arrived on Thursday. She is so gorgeous - I'm besotted! But unfortunately suffering badly from a post-epidural headache which required a procedure in theatre on Friday to help. It was initially successful but has got bad again today and I'm a bit Sad cos it's making things pretty difficult - there whenever I sit/stand up but goes away when I lie down. Crap for breastfeeding/nappies/dealing with nearly 3yr old DD etc. You're right, Bee, I'm in Edinburgh. I had fantastic care again at the RIE and won't hear a word said against my consultant, who I love!

But overall I'm so happy and I feel like we've come full circle - Tess arrived a year to the day of my miscarriage.

BeeMyBaby · 21/02/2012 15:42

blue Great news on your baby girl to be :)

wicket Yay for Tess! Hopefully her birth will help to heal the hurt after the miscarriage and it means you get to remember the date as the birth of your daughter rather than the loss of your baby (I think my mother felt like this as I was born on the anniversary of her stillbirth).

LPO · 07/05/2012 12:31

Long time no 'speak' from me.
Congratulations Bee!!
Congratulations Wicket, i hope everything is going well for you now!!
Blue, how is everything going for you?

I am very pleased to announce the safe arrival of my little girl, long labour, a week early. All perfect here!! :)

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 26/05/2012 05:48

Congratulations, LPO! Yay for wee girls! What have you named her. And how is it going?

We went on to have more of a rough time, unfortunately. I needed to be Readmitted and have a second procedure for my headache and then felt crap for 2 weeks. Once I started feeling better, Tess became ill with bronchiolitis and was admitted to hospital for 10 days. It was all pretty traumatic but she's right as rain now! Hope you guys are all enjoying the sunshine!

LPO · 11/06/2012 09:36

Thanks Wicket she is called Lilia. Now 7 weeks and doing really well! Not quite got used to having no sleep again, but I'm sure at some point I will!

I'm sorry to hear things have been tough for you. How are your headaches now?
How old is Tess now? Glad to hear that she is better again, that must have been so hard for you. My DS, 3yrs was admitted to hospital with an infection in February and was in for a week, it was the hardest thing in the world watching him go through that.
