A safe place for everyone on the TTC after MC rollercoaster. Welcome and come in - virtual wine and chocolate for all, and lots of support and hand-holding until you get your BFP!

The thread moves fast but don't let that put you off - feel free to come along and stay to chat; or dip in and out with any questions.

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length

Good luck to all - here's hoping for lots of healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread!

ooh nick does that work?? not really supposed to have fruit juice on slimming world though, so does just eating the fruit work??

wellieboots · 17/01/2011 11:37

Morning all,
Just marking my place on the new thread! Haven't been around much last week due to finishing up work, as we're moving down under in less than two weeks Grin

Just did a long post then lost it so I'll come back later!

Chloe55 · 17/01/2011 12:08

Piglet & Natalie - welcome to the thread but sorry you find yourselves here. It's a great place to vent your frustrations with people who understand exactly what you are going through.

Hadrian - I know what you mean about not wanting to see your pg SIL. My cousin is due a similar time to when I was and I thought I was ok until I saw her and unfortunately it has brought it all back to me and have struggled this past week or so to get through it emotionally Sad I am holding on to the fact that those that have gone beyond their due date say it gets a little easier. I said to DH the other night that I couldn't possibly feel so low all the time and just wonder when it will ever get easier Sad I feel your pain, I really do.

Dachs - fab news on the results!

Orange - I hope things settle down for you soon, I am so excited to become pg again but so worried that it is going to be a total headf**k which it is proving to be for everyone on here! I bled for the first 9 weeks of having ds, also bled with my MMC but wasn't as concerned having bled with ds so think I will always be a bloody bleeder!

Pink - ooh AUstria will be beautiful. Ski-ing is one thing I have never done but always wanted to.

Wombat - try and stay positive, I will be keeping fingers and toes crossed for your results.

Mamap - thinking of you today. I bet you are a bag of mixed emotions Confused

Wiggle - sorry about the river of doom. Great though that you are feeling positive, try to remain so Wink

Izzy - I know what you mean about planning things! It's my 30th on feb 19th and am planning a big bash but if I do conceive this month I will pretty much have just found out and I have no idea how I am gonna get away with covering it up!

Mummya - glad you are feeling ready to try again.

I got missed off the list Sad

Chloe sorry you got missed off, the thing about the list is that it's a b*gger to update so you shouldn't take it personally if you temporarily vanish or lose a day!

Think we all seem to have lost a day somewhere and wiggle's in the wrong place, so just doing a quick update!

Now where is YRMOTB ?!!

Hello all!

Sorry RTD got you wiggle. here's to a nice glass of wine or 3 to get you through the red days.

dachs that's fab news for those embies! Well done to them! Smile

Welcome to piglet and natalie I hope your stay is happy, short and unobsessive!

Laughing at mamap and nix and their bare-cheeked madness!

I do find that after the DD hadrian and others, you find it easier to separate the pregnant people from your baby, and there is still envy, but it's not so painful. My sil had a MC at the same time as me, and then got pg the first month of trying, which was hard for me, and then I was so upset when I found out, but it's fine now really.

God only knows what is going on here. I didn't temp this morning as I stayed at a friends house and accidentally on purpose didn't take my thermometer... No sign of the RTD though yet. I have been racking my brains if FF may be wrong and I ovulated late, but CM does not correlate with that at all.

youremindmeofthebabe · 17/01/2011 13:07

Ha! X-posts izz Here i am!! Hows the SW going?

OrangeGloss · 17/01/2011 13:23

YRMOTB I don't know how I'm going to wait until Thursday for you to POAS!

Am now resorting to regular boob prodding, and my mood varies depending on how sore they are at any given time. Nausea keeping at bay sadly except for a near-chuck this morning

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 17/01/2011 13:33

YRMOTB I'm with orange , I can't wait till Thursday either!

SW was hard the first week, I felt fatter than ever which I an sure is not the idea!!! Scales at weigh-in wavered between 1.5 and 2 lb then settled at a loss of 2lb which was surprisingly good. Found it hard to stick to though - very restrictive - so have secretly gone back to my old weightwatchers diet plan this week (much easier!). Still going to weigh in at SW on Thursday as going with a friend but will be interested to see which worked best!

How's your detox going?

OP posts:
nickstermum · 17/01/2011 13:45

babes i will virtually lend you a tenner to go get yourself POAS'ed!! cant keep these spangly suzzies on forever, am a right fatcow!

orange try brushing your backteeth a bit longer to see if that helps

youremindmeofthebabe · 17/01/2011 13:47

Ahh, you're all so lovely. Fingers crossed!

Wombat33 · 17/01/2011 13:48

Urgh Nix. My one and only vom of this pg was as a resut of brushing my teeth too soon after having eaten a large bowl of soup for dinner. URGGGHHHH!!!

YRMOTB I'll donate to the poas before Thurs fund too!!! I'm desperate for some good news (even if it's not mine!). Am currently holding out for Owl's scan on Weds Smile

youremindmeofthebabe · 17/01/2011 13:49

izz That's really good going. Detox going quite well. I've slipped up with chocolate this week, but the not drinking etc was going well! Don't think i've lost any weight though, annoyingly...

Natalie2011 · 17/01/2011 13:53

you lot are bonkers. i love it :) i've never used the temp thing so far, trying to avoid as i'll get obsessive, although i have bought one...although i'm just shite and would forget to use it!

my life so far this week:

Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit
Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit

Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit

have a good day everyone xx

Wombat33 · 17/01/2011 14:08

Natalie I've been looking at your biscuits and wondering is it's some kind of diagram?? If it was a pitcure of my week last week it would probably be a graph:

Monday - only ate three biscuits, pretty good self-control
Tuesday - really depressed today, ate my feelings in biscuits
Wednesday - sod it, diet went out the window yesterday, mayas well have more biscuits
Thirsday - back on the wagon, lots of self-control, only three biscuits
Friday - well, it's Friday, I deserved a treat...

Am I close? Or was it not intended as a piece of biscuit art?!?! Grin Wink

(if the biscuits display differently in people's internet browsers, you're all going to think I've finally totally lost the plot Grin)

Wombat33 · 17/01/2011 14:08

sorry for typos...

owlbooty · 17/01/2011 14:22

LOVE the biscuit chart Grin

I guessed that was hourly consumption, seeing as it's only Monday?

If so, excellent work there :)

PinkRabbitFood · 17/01/2011 14:27

Natalie I am intrigued by the biscuits!! I am v impressed with everyones detoxing, mine has gone out of the window this week but figured will be eating lots of cheese so no matter

Oh talking of cheese, do you reckon this is a sign: went to supermarket and had overwhelming urge to eat cheese so bought block of leerdammer and ate it straight from the block on the drive home. Like 3/4 of the brick.... So apart from making me a complete minger do you reckon it means anything????

And went to dr today they took temp and it's slightly above normal. I've got chest infection tho so probably that would explain the temp, booo! Lucky I sacked off temping this month otherwise would defo have hopes up!!!

I've just put the most genius POAS prevention plan into place-clearblue digi are 2 for £7.50 on amazon, so have just ordered and the other beauty is that I can't possibly wee on it until it arrives Grin. Enforced self restraint, good eh??

Mamapower · 17/01/2011 14:31

hummmm! I'm thinking that we are not the bonkers ones!!

yrmotb I just don't think I can wait! You are so self controlled... I just kept peeing until I got the answer I wanted Grin

Izzy I think WW is better than SW (errr before you all start jumping up and down I wasn't always slim, in my twenties I was a very unhappy person and got quite chunky, tis a true story!)

Thanks all for thinking of me, it's quite an odd day, I feel like one of those dolls that has a happy face on one side and a sad face on the other!

OrangeGloss · 17/01/2011 14:33

Natalie I'm loving the biscuit art Grin or should that be a Biscuit

Fx for Owl in the meantime

youremindmeofthebabe · 17/01/2011 14:34

I'm actually terrified it's either ectopic or a Luteal cyst, so am kind of in denial rather than being controlled!!

OrangeGloss · 17/01/2011 14:35

And well done to Pink for cheese consumption. Defo a sign. Unless you do that every week Wink

PinkRabbitFood · 17/01/2011 14:36

Ahahaha £15 for FOUR cb digis!!!! Awesome!!! I can go wee tastic when they arrive!! Proper catchup later

Mamapower · 17/01/2011 14:38

x-posts pink I think it makes you in need of reading this Grin Grin seriously though, last week I ate like a horse and I totally ate shite that I would never normally contemplate chucking down my throat, in fact I think DH was contemplating buying shares in Walkers Grin Grin so perhaps it is a sign... fx and good prevention plan, I like your style Grin

Mamapower · 17/01/2011 14:43

yrmotb step away from google, it'll do you no good and honestly if I had believed all the shite on there then technically I was screwed with a 7 day LP but look at me Grin Big hug though cause I know you are just really wanting to know one way or the other Smile
