A safe place for everyone on the TTC after MC rollercoaster. Welcome and come in - virtual wine and chocolate for all, and lots of support and hand-holding until you get your BFP!

The thread moves fast but don't let that put you off - feel free to come along and stay to chat; or dip in and out with any questions.

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length

Good luck to all - here's hoping for lots of healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread!

Hello chatterboxes!

Emoo · 20/01/2011 19:15

Ooops.. deleted a bit of my own message! Was looking at cep and MummyA!! Grin

Velvetcu · 20/01/2011 19:55

lol Emoo dont stalk my chart I promise it wont turn into anything interesting and you will have wasted all your time!

I'm getting fed up with my daily 2hrs of brown goo! It's not even at a regular time! If it wasnt for goo I would just assume that my cycles hadnt settled to a reasonable length as indicated by the previous 2 and that this was going to be another long one. Longest ever since coming off the pill a year ago is 42 days so I've still got ages to go to beat that!

You lot talk too much!

orange glad you are booked in for tomorrow. everything crossed here that you have a nice jumping bean in there.

I too am hoping YRMOTB POAS early tomorrow! I have my flashing suspenders and nipple tassles on Grin

youremindmeofthebabe · 20/01/2011 20:40

Early doors, I promise. And then you can all take those sussies off, they look really uncomfy! How's your temps velvet? Are you gonna poAs with me? I keep inspecting my boobs. They're not very big!

DachshundsWantPuppies · 20/01/2011 20:45

hmmm.... but it's not their size that matters, is it Wink it's whether they are bigger than they were...

DachshundsWantPuppies · 20/01/2011 20:46

orange good luck tomorrow

cep · 20/01/2011 21:02

pink that's awful.
i went on the tube once during a o/night visit to london with dh when i was about 7/8 months pregnant with ds, it was absolutely heaving and not one person offered a seat for me (or to even step back out of my space). it got so hot i almost passed out. i love visiting london but the closest i got to living there was stanmore for a few months. could live any further in, and infact don't think i could live stanmore anymore.

thanks emoo he's always got a comeback when i say what people have said. Those that don't need to give bj's are obviously young and sexy........thanks!!!

orange glad you're ok.

mummya good luck for later. i should hopefully be asleep by then, am soo tired.

wombat good luck for blood test tomorrow.

Hello to everyone else, hope you're all ok

cep · 20/01/2011 21:04

sorry orange meant to say and good luck for tomorrow

AandRMum · 20/01/2011 21:17

Just a quick one - if anyone is doing the list can they add me as CD1 from Thursday. Would love to have joined the rash of bfps but most probably for the best as this would have been one very pickled bean! I am banking on mummyA theory that we will get there by March - not much space in our rental house in any case - working hard here on zen like, silver lining thoughts. Heading down to the beach today, am going to eat a steak very rare and wash it down with loads of wine.

Orange and MummyA good luck with your scans.

Congrats Tigger wonderful news.

tigger15 · 20/01/2011 21:41

Thanks again for all the good wishes.

Pink I've spent the last 20 months wondering if some pg lady was going to ask me to give up my seat in a nasty way and answers have varied from "I'm sorry I'm miscarrying" to "let's swap lives with it and some details thereon". My usual tactic for getting a seat on the tube last rimw was to eyeball for 10 seconds and when that failed (90%) ask a man very politely if he would mind letting me sit down. Usually worked.

I hate the tube too and would love to apparate to work.

tigger15 · 20/01/2011 21:42

rimw was typo for time

Velvetcu · 20/01/2011 21:50

Temps are still up yrmotb but no there will be no pee stick action from me until next weekend if I get that far

PinkIsACheeseAddict · 20/01/2011 22:04

velvet next weekend as in 2 days time, or as in 8 days time???? Temps sound good!! Nipple tassles???!?!? hehehehehehe

tigger hahaha that is exactly the sort of thing that I sit on the train and fantasise about, good to know I'm not the only one! I'm intrigued about what 'apparate' is phone speak for though?! Timetravel??? That really would be fab!

dachs how's things going over there? Sore boobs sounds fab - I am going to get excited and there's nothing you can do about it.

aandr sorry about AF but glad you are in a place with some delicious rare steak to munch on om nom nom

biscuitlady AKA natalie where art thou?

cep DH's BJ is really harsh Shock - I really hope he was joking.... (((hugs)))

YRMOTB I'll be thinking of you hun, lots of positive thinking tonight please!!!

xxx

BiscuitChart · 20/01/2011 23:16

hello :) gosh you lot have been busy today, glad to hear some good news from people too :) i disappeared for a bit cos someone said 'who are you' and it felt a bit like i'd chipped into the conversation of the popular kids and one of them was asking why - i'm over sensitive just now, hormones! have good friday's all! x

hadrian · 20/01/2011 23:23

Was anyone doing any work today? I have been on 'leadership' training so get ready to admire my new visionary qualities.

Best of luck for tomorrow orange. Fingers double crossed that everything is ok. When my MC started it just kept on coming, there was none of this clot here and there business iyswim. What you're experiencing sounds quite different.

yrmotb will a stick be enjoying the full force of your pee tomorrow? How exciting!

daddysgirl to pick up on our conversation of about 12 pages ago...I'm so sorry to hear you lost your dad. It's a lot to bear at once isn't it? Hope you're doing ok.

OrangeGloss · 20/01/2011 23:24

Sorry for lame catch up, various friends have been round to take my mind off things and kill zombies. I think someone asked me which game it was and I forgot to reply, it's Call if Duty the zombie game

Mummya I hope the scan goes well, and am glad you've had a relaxed 1st month back ttc, well apart from the extra checks, etc
Cep I hope things go well tonight
Dachs sore boobs?!
AandR sorry she got you, you will be basking next month instead :)

I'm not feeling hopeful about tomorrow, but am glad that I'll hopefully know one way or the other

MummyAbroad · 21/01/2011 01:14

Biscuit oh sorry! that was me asking who you were!! (just couldnt work it out, didnt mean to offend!) No popularity contests on here, just support, honest.

AandR sorry about AF, looks like yours is destined to be a Valentines baby Smile

Velvet Yay for temps still up, how many is that now?

cep how did it go?

orange best of luck sweetie.

I had my scan, lining is 6mm, I was hoping for 8 ("normal" is 8-13) so cant help feeling disappointed and a little worried. Now I really want to know the results of the HSG according to the experts, the earliest I could hear that though is Monday maybe, so I going to have to use all my willpower to think about something else and try not to sit in front of the computer pressing refresh on my email account all day.Confused DH took me out for pizza and wine after the scan to cheer me up which really worked.

MummyAbroad · 21/01/2011 01:38

AanR hello! what are you still doing up? Isnt it really late in the UK?

MummyAbroad · 21/01/2011 01:38

P.S. Your data looks lovely Grin

AandRMum · 21/01/2011 03:21

Blush why thank you! Would look better with a BFP attached the end of it. It is late in UK but not in Oz. What is the next step with your 6mm? Is the idea that it will increase in thickness with each subsequent period or do you need to take something to help it along? Monday must seem a long time away - major distractions called for.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 21/01/2011 06:49

Owl just wanted to say I'm thinking of you on your due date, I hope you're ok and getting plenty of RL hugs xxx

mummya sorry your scan didn't provide the reassurance you wanted. 6mm sounds fairly close though - do you know how much difference it makes practically speaking? Fx for the results on Monday - you deserve some good luck x

aandr - sorry she got you Sad. She's on her way here now but is definitely not welcome so if you could tie her to a surfboard somewhere in Oz and keep her there it would be much appreciated Smile

yrmotb - what news??!!!

Also velvet - any change?

orange good luck for your scan today, I'll be thinking of you this morning and hope it sets your mind at rest xx

wombat good luck for your test results too x

OP posts:

Thanks Izzy and everyone else for thinking of me, I'm just looking forward to knowing I think. Yesterday was interesting timing for morning sickness to really kick in Hmm

youremindmeofthebabe · 21/01/2011 07:29

Ha. Told you so. BFN. Temps still up at 3 rd level. Got doctors appt for blood test next Thursday. Going back to bed.
