A safe place for everyone on the TTC after MC rollercoaster. Welcome and come in - virtual wine and chocolate for all, and lots of support and hand-holding until you get your BFP!

The thread moves fast but don't let that put you off - feel free to come along and stay to chat; or dip in and out with any questions.

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length

Good luck to all - here's hoping for lots of healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread!

If you lot are gonna diss my crap white plastic diet, the least you can do is get your facts straight...

8 weetabix a day to be precise Grin

and not 4 but only 3 white iced buns

but now i have replaced the weetabix with a bag of haribos!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 19/01/2011 21:20

orange big (((hugs))) honey I'm sorry you're having to deal with this and feeling so scared. I can't help re the pain, sorry, I never mc'd naturally...I'm keeping everything crossed for you though. Could you ring round the private clinics tomorrow for an appt? Or just go to epu? It might not be conclusive but might stop you going mad. Thinking of you xx

((Orange)) You must be so worried. Wish I could say something that would make you worry less, but I think only the scan will do that. If you are not in pain and bleeding lots like last time then take heart, that is good. So is not finding any blue bits, and the doctor did tell you that you might bleed again and not to worry, so hold on to the positives.

nickstermum · 19/01/2011 21:27

SHIT. I did mc naturally and i had quite severe cramping like my uterus was shrinking but no pain that was acute.

A&E will see you if you go now? Has the bleed continued? and are you experiencing cramps?

Owl fab news on the scan xxxxx

Velvetcu · 19/01/2011 21:28

orange big hugs. I agree with MummyA, try and get in for a scan tomorrow to stop you worrying a bit xx

PinkIsACheeseAddict · 19/01/2011 21:38

orange huge hugs xxxxx I had very severe cramping and backache when I MCed. I agree with the others, if you're very upset tonight, go to a&e, otherwise call epu and all the private scan joints tomorrow-someone will scan you. I would call in sick for the rest of the week, you don't need any extra stress. I am thinking of you, so sorry you're going through this xxxx

Mamapower · 19/01/2011 21:42

orange I mc'd naturally and I was screaming in pain. keeping all crossed for you babe, what a horrible time you are having, big hugs, you must go and put your feet up and relax, if there is any more bleeding over night, call your epau nurse, she may squeeze you in for a scan tomorrow xx

Mamapower · 19/01/2011 21:43

oooh millions of x-posts and we all said the same thing... we're good at dishing it out... remind me of this when I start stressing!

OrangeGloss · 19/01/2011 21:49

Thanks, I haven't had any pain or cramps and I think the bleeding has stopped, it was really that big clot

I'm going to ring the epu first thing I think, and hope they can get me in. Worst case I've found somewhere for Friday

MummyAbroad · 19/01/2011 21:54

Dach I forgot to say, I'm afraid my powers of prediction dont extend to test days... if they did I would save ££ on bulk buy HPT's Grin The only thing I can predict in that respect is that I will most probably use all of my 25 pack this month BlushGrin

Ladybee · 19/01/2011 21:56

tigger ~ tigger ~ tigger ~ tigger ~ tigger ~
that's me doing a little dance for your bfp. I can't believe it Grin wow - pleeeeeeeeeeeeease let it be a good one.

pink - "no point in worrying about what I can't control" very wise and words to write on your bathroom mirror. Love "warmer spooky" that's probably my favourite predictive textism yet.

YRMOTB - gosh 17 high temps in a row is good going but I'm sorry you're not getting +ve tests. I really hope that you can get something sorted out - go and get an expensive test for one, and can you get a phone consult if you call tomorrow? They could refer for a blood test and just leave the form for you to pick up.

Mamapower don't panic over vanishing symptoms
(hah! how easy it is to write these things for other people!) My boobage changed almost directly after BFP, it went down, then no achiness, then weird nipples, then quite sore, now they seem to wake up one size and not sore at all but get sore and heavy as the day goes on. Honestly, consistency I think it just not a pregnancy thing.

velvet good idea to do some destressing - work can be such a bugger.

Lily I'm the same as wombat, told 1 friend and today told my mum & dad as we're trying to organise a visit for them and needed to talk about why particular times of the year might be better than others.

izzy I really hope that spotting isn't what you think but you know your cycle. Fingers crossed for next round.

wombat wooooop for scan booking. V brave. I'll be having next week I think too. In fact I think I may as well take a sleeping bag and tent and just live in the hospital grounds for next few weeks.
Was there today to be taught about injections. Have to back tomorrow to get baseline bloods done to see what I'm like before clexane gets in, and pick up more drugs, then follow up with consultant following wednesday and then the friday after that another follow up with blood people. At some stage I am supposed to go work I guess.

dachs I'm not going to slap you. You go ahead and obsess. There's a lot riding on what you're going through so feel free to go as mental as you want.

Owly well done - you made it to the 12 weeker Envy and even more well done you have a lovely wriggly bean in there GrinGrinGrin

MummyA I've got a fiver saying you've ovulated. Grin

Orange - do these clots just appear, like they just drop out of you, or are you cramping and so on beforehand? I had a lot of severe cramping and pain with my natural MC. If you were me, I would be on the phone to any scanning outfit I could find to get another scan in. God this must be agony for you - so sorry chick.

OrangeGloss · 19/01/2011 22:03

They just drop out, no warning or anything

Last pg I miscarried while I was waiting for erpc, they gave me the pessaries too early and it made me mc. It was agony and I bled loads, but I don't know if that's 'normal' or caused by the pessaries

I think for my own health and sanity I need a scan

Sorry, will catch up when I'm not freaking out, exactly to say a big congrats to tigger in the meantime

tigger15 · 19/01/2011 22:05

Thank you for all the good wishes. I still can't believe it.

nickstermum · 19/01/2011 22:31

huge congrats tigger xx Grin Grin

cep · 19/01/2011 22:36

evening all hope you're all ok.

i settled for a smallish bottle glass of baileys. yummy.

orange mine was natural after i'd had my scan i started getting strong periody type pains and a little blood, then everything happened. But no clots till after.

lily i was't going to tell anyone till 12 weeks, but told several after the mc.

izzy fx is just spotting and not af.

tigger congrats.

I'm sorry if i've forgotten anyone.

i'm off to bobo's now goodnight everyone,

hadrian · 19/01/2011 22:54

Am too knackered to write properly but just wanted to send a massive hug to orange. Must be so scary and I really hope you're doing ok. Mine was natural and I felt very out of sorts for a couple of days, then the bleeding started and by the time the clots came I was in a lot of discomfort and pain. Hang on in there, we're holding your hand and rooting for your bean.

cep · 20/01/2011 07:33

morning all, just a quicky to say bloomin typical, wanted an acurate reading this morning as possibly oving but had disturbed last few hours sleep. Angry so what if my snoring was keeping dh awake. i have to put up with his.

Does anyone else find that dh isn't able to provide as often as we would like them too?

cep · 20/01/2011 08:33

meant to say orange i hope you're ok today hon. at work so can't say more, speak later.

OrangeGloss · 20/01/2011 08:45

Morning, I have to tell someone.
I rang the epu, said I was waiting for a scan on Monday, but had passed a large clot last night. Her response was that it was the start of mc and stay at home and wait to pass the rest.

I explained to her (a few times) I was scanned after the last clot and the sac was still there and fine, and she just said 'oh ok, I thought you'd been told it was failing and I don't have your notes'

Make me Angry and :( at the same time. Bit of a state now tbh :(

Just waiting for her to ring back, but am going to ring round the private clinics like a madwoman when they open

OrangeGloss · 20/01/2011 08:47

Thanks Cep :)

And I have the opposite problem with DH Blush

youremindmeofthebabe · 20/01/2011 08:50

Lovely Nurse there orange. Hope they ring you back soon.

Still elevated here, at the 2nd jump temperature. FMU tomorrow, here we come. I know I tested positive at approx 7 weeks gone with last mc although that was the first time I had tested. I didn't know with ds till 14 weeks gone, so that's no help. Ah well. FMU tomorrow, here we come!

DachshundsWantPuppies · 20/01/2011 08:52

orange I'm really sorry this is happening to you. FX it's ok, but I hope you manage to get a speedy scan and that it's just a bit of bleeding. We are all thinking of you.

I'm not sure where you're based? If it's London then Dr Gibb on Harley St fitted me in v quickly when I was having my mc - I rang in the morning and he saw me at 11

OrangeGloss · 20/01/2011 09:04

Thanks, I'm based in the east midlands. I've found a slot for tomorrow, but am holding out for one today. Poor DH had to go to work as he had a directors meeting, but said send someone in to get him if I need to

Fx for tomorrow YRMOTB wow, 14 weeks, that would be a dream!

Ladybee · 20/01/2011 09:10

orange I think that if you're not getting cramping or anything things are more likely to be ok - or at least your progesterone levels are still high enough to prevent your uterus from contracting to expel. It's curious (sorry not great word) that these clots are coming out if your cervix is closed but maybe if it's a slow bleed it sort leaks down and pools until it clots together then drops?
Still worrying that you're bleeding somewhere, but if its not affecting the pregnancy then hopefully it's just the way this one has implanted? Anyway, as I said not expert opinion - good luck getting something sorted and ignore the nurse. Her making a guess without your notes as about as much use as my speculation above Confused

OrangeGloss · 20/01/2011 09:16

Thanks Ladybee that was the theory of the last nurse (who was nice) that the blood was gathering until heavy enough to drop, it was a heavy cough last night that moved it

Sorry for taking up the thread :( you guys are keeping me sane :)
