A safe place for everyone on the TTC after MC rollercoaster. Welcome and come in - virtual wine and chocolate for all, and lots of support and hand-holding until you get your BFP!

The thread moves fast but don't let that put you off - feel free to come along and stay to chat; or dip in and out with any questions.

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length

Good luck to all - here's hoping for lots of healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread!

You know what I think, I think we all had a bloody good xmas and new year and probably drank and ate too much and through caution to the wind and didn't have time to obsess and bobs your uncle a string of bfps... exactly why Sept and Oct are the busiest months in maternity wards, we were all pissed and shagging Grin I know for a fact I conceived on Jan 2nd and that was the night dh got home from working away over new year and we had our own mini nye party to kiss goodbye to 2010; lots of drink and swi Wink I think there are a few more bfp's to arrive from the christmas period shananigans you know Wink

Just gotta say it again... I'm tickled pink pink

hadrian · 18/01/2011 22:38

Waaaah I can't keep up at all but I'm so excited - this is the best thread ever!

Huge huge congrats to lemon, hk and PINK - the old Poisson distribution finally came good! I'm so happy for you all and how lovely that you will be able to journey through the next few weeks and months together with all the other BFP-ers on here.

velvet it's all sounding good to me so why don't you keep your cool while we get MASSIVELY overexcited on your behalf Wink.

And if it's not your month, it will be soon and in the meantime there are plenty of us still in for the long haul. I can't remember who was asking but I am indeed TTC #1 and am 34 and am practising telling myself everyday that I haven't left it too late...

Welcome to lily - sorry that you find yourself here but it's definitely the best place to be under the circumstances.

Sweet dreams to all you newly updiffed ladies!

Mamapower · 18/01/2011 22:38

apol's typo's so excited about this thread I can't even type properly and spell!!

Chloe55 · 18/01/2011 22:45

Ahhhh crossed posts earlier Pink!!! WOw!! I can not believe this thread! Grin Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Emoo · 18/01/2011 22:48

MummyAbroad · 18/01/2011 23:13

we now have more ladies on the list in Grads& Recent BFP's than in TTC&WTTCGrin

wellieboots · 18/01/2011 23:17

Oh my goodness, I go away for a day of packing and there are BFPs all over the place!! Grin

lots of love pink, lemon and HKBaby - I am hanging around here to see if it rubs off on me! Welcome lily, so sorry for your loss.

Now all I need is for first AF to show up and we're rocking and rolling - I think it's on the way, but it's teasing me at the moment so we'll see! At least then I will know my body can do something right!

Waves to everyone!!

OrangeGloss · 19/01/2011 06:30

C'mon AF, visit Wellie so we can have another BFP

I agree Mamap a BFP sadly does not equal a baby, just weeks of worry and knicker checking, and about the Christmas relaxation helping the BFP rate Grin

Actually, Pink, wasn't this the month you didn't temp?

nickstermum · 19/01/2011 06:35

Theres not much on the telly in january either!!!

LoveBeingADaddysGirl · 19/01/2011 06:37

Hadrian - I've only just read your post from Sunday. You poor thing, my dad passed away at the end of nov and I mc less than a week layer so I understand about the mixed up grief. Don't be so hard on yourself x

LoveBeingADaddysGirl · 19/01/2011 06:58

Sorry guys I've tried to catch up but it too hard on my phone ESP as been up with dd since 4;30 I have however got to see that

Dachs - fab news, remember it only takes one x

pink - wicked newswell done

a sad welcome to the newies.

My news well pg symptoms continue, dizzy a lot and this morning am feeling a bit sick (how long will I've glad I feel sick?!?!)

OrangeGloss · 19/01/2011 07:04

Poor Nix appearing boring and frumpy to colleagues, stuck in hotel room with crap telly. It's like a modern day princess story, you'll have to get DH to charge in on his horse(or car) to rescue you Grin

Daddysgirl glad to hear you are getting some reassuring nausea. I'm only getting waves, but wasn't sick last time either, and MIL told me she had different symptoms each pg

OrangeGloss · 19/01/2011 07:06

Oh yeah, I couldn't sleep either, am addicted to a zombie killing game (yes I'm 32 I know), and have been dreaming of zombies all night Blush note to self: stop playing before bed!

PrettyVacant1 · 19/01/2011 07:24

Wow!
I am made up for you Pinks maahsooive jumpings up and down for you MamaP, HkBabes and Lemon Grin

Quick update in VacantCity as I need to make myself pritty for work, had another scan yesterday.
Still so far so good. phew
No signs of molar at all, fingers crossed this may be the one!
Another one in two weeks.
I might even make a proper appointment and tell my Doctor today. Grin

Big loves and wave to all, have a happy hump day!

Oh, and I'm loving the Hoverjolls Grin

cep · 19/01/2011 07:29

hi all. apologies i'm just popping on before work, so haven't had chance to read all previous posts.

welcome lily
congrats lemon i assume as i can see big welldone pink's that your poas result has come in positive although i haven't read the post yet. so yiippppeeee pink so pleased for you.

i just have a very quick question. my temp yesterday was 96.80 this morning it was 97.18 i'm not supposed to ov till tomorrow is it normal for it to jump that much before ov??? i've only temped those 2 days. i also left it a few mins, (still lying down) and it was back to 96.80 so not sure which to use on my chart. Can anyone who temps or did temp advise???

Wombat33 · 19/01/2011 07:37

PPPPIIIIIIINNNKKK!!! That's fabulous news!! Grin Grin Grin

Chloe55 · 19/01/2011 07:39

Morning all.

I'm not a temper Cep so can't really help you on that one, sorry.

A Grin but probably tmi alert for this morning. Both Dh and I are feeling really crappy but we know that things must be done in order to make a baby so having promised ourselves we would do it this morning, having both been too tired last night, I reluctantly climbed aboard as dh certainly didn't look like moving too much! Afterwards he literally threw me off him onto my back and threw my legs in the air Grin muttering something about him having lazy sperm and having too many barriers to overcome with my messed up insides without gravity being thrown into the mix Grin

Oh the joys of TTC - what happened to the romance? Grin

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 19/01/2011 07:55

Chloe Grin

bee you're right about tigger - where is she?!!

pretty fab that things are going so well, keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you!!

mummya how's it going? Any sign of ov yet?

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 19/01/2011 07:55

PS cep I would go with the first one - why are you so sure ov is tomorrow?
