Ah Boo, I know it's not easy. I smoked properly for a long time too. But so worth stopping completely as it can be a slippery slope - but YOU have to want to do it for you. MrG sometimes smokes on a night out and it makes me soooo angry and he can't understand why xxx

If I take a hot chocolate with coconut into the hot tub with a Mounty, would that make it a Bounty experience?

I am a little woo. My mum has this thing about her Aunt who was a bit 'fay' (to use an Irishy word) and is convinced that it runs in the family. I've had strange, slightly supernatural experiences but no dream-like ones.

I only started smoking when I went to uni and there were the 'green' fags going around. Then, when I moved over here, I smoked properly for a year (cos everyone smokes here) then just decided to stop but I found it really hard for so many years to refuse a social ciggy. I think I'm over it now (10 years later!).

I have serious snow envy - it's pissing down over here...nothing Christmassy about that.

I love of a bit of 'woo' me.

When I was younger some friends of mine died in an accident. A few days later I dreamt I was getting on a boat, I was nervous but one of them was on the boat & told me he was ok and we would get there. Woo enough right. Well then the next day my other friend had had a very similar dream. It makes me feel happy when I think of it now though.

I too was a smoker for 15 years. Gave up the year I was 30. Still want one when I drink though.

I played a blinder yesterday morning cooked up a storm, (did xmas last week) - so today my duties include: dog-walking, Baileys & re-heating stuff in the oven. Actually the most important thing I need to do today is go to the shed, dig out my ski trousers and find out if any of them fit because then I have two choices i) jump on online sales RIGHT NOW or ii) ski naked (will drive to nearest Primarni for furry knickers obv.).

We have had the sechs fail due to over consumption of Port/champagne/red wine and the fact that our pipes froze yesterday so Christmas dinner was a total triumph over adversity - had to keep going next door for water to cook, wash up and flush the toilets with!

Have lagged the pipes with tea towels and texted the landlord - off to the mother in laws for my turn to be pampered - feet up today after all my hard work yesterday. Staying over tonight and sleeping in MILS bed so there is NO way that's going to happen. Blast.

Your pipes froze so you hung tea towels over them? That's a euphemism I've never heard before!

alps I did a sneaky stick yesterday morning before I drank loads! Much too early of course!! But allowed me to enjoy the champers. May try again day after tomorrow if I can't wait but no symptoms whatsoever yet. How about you?

Hope all is well with you Boo. Our boiler packed up on the evening of Christmas eve, so we were kinda cold on Christmas day too. Alps - Baileys = the worst hangover I have ever experienced! Poor you!! And no green fags to help. Pleased to hear about all your snow though.
