Where are you all? I demand company, there is fuck all on TV :o

InTheSunshine · 01/01/2011 21:25

Hey Boo I've resorted to stuffing twiglets down my throat relieve the boredom. Yawn.

PrincessBoo · 01/01/2011 21:33

Hello Sunny nice to see you dear heart. So what was your favourite Christmas pressie this year?

InTheSunshine · 01/01/2011 21:38

Twiglets!! No, MS and I are going away next weekend to posh spa hotel as our Christmas / anniversary present. What about you?

Ariesgirl · 01/01/2011 21:47

Don't be absurd Boo. Father Ted is on.

PrincessBoo · 01/01/2011 21:48

Oh how lovely - where is it?

MrBoo bought me some chanel Dragon nail varnish, his brother bought me a really cool fake fur trapper hat, and my good friend got me a gorgeous fluffy blanket. They were my faves.

PrincessBoo · 01/01/2011 21:52

:o Rie so what was your fave pressie then sweetness? (have switched to Father Ted, although I did watch some last night when I got back from the party)

InTheSunshine · 01/01/2011 21:59

Boo you have lovely lovely gifts. I'm a big fan of the fluffy blanket. Slanket no. Blanket yes. Hotel is in Bagshot. V exited.

Rie would love to be be watching Ted but MS is playing on his new toy.

PrincessBoo · 01/01/2011 22:03

'Those women were in the nip!'

starnosemole · 01/01/2011 22:03

I'm watching Eric and Ernie-bloke playing Eric Morecambe is ace.
My mum who usually gets us attractive scarves, and once got my sister thermal underwear, surpassed herself with christmas pressie of Vivienne Westwood perfume that shares my name ..am still in shock. BBB actually bought me presents, which is always a bonus.
Has taken me twenty mins to type this as playing dominos with molette who's still up due to mammoth afternoon sleep after accidentally seeing in the new year- parenting fail Confused
My name is mole and I haven't had a drink for 22 hours

PrincessBoo · 01/01/2011 22:10

Oooh just googled that perfume - looks lovely Molina - did you get the free charm bracelet?

Disagree with parenting fail - I always keep smallchild up until midnight - how the hell else am I getting a lie in on New Years Day? He managed until 9.30 with one wake up at 5 which is a vast improvement on the rest of the week. He's been streaming with clear snot today though and wiping it on me constantly, which has been just delightful.

I am having a hot toddy - damn sore throat.

InTheSunshine · 01/01/2011 22:11

My name is Sunny. I hear you Mole.

starnosemole · 01/01/2011 22:23

Am wearing said charm bracelet now- feel dead classy, even if it's only me left wrist.

boo we so should get together and let our feral snotty children run riot together while we weep and wail and drown our sorrows have healthy snacks to console us in our barrendom

PrincessBoo · 01/01/2011 22:39

You know what I'd love to do? Play Monopoly. Yes, that's how desperate I am for fun :o

I stupidly paid to have MrBoo's broken PS3 fixed as his Christmas present. Now I am a double Xbox/PS3 widow.

Ariesgirl · 01/01/2011 22:42

Boo, fave present was a White Stuff voucher (dead mercenary but I haven't bought new clothes in ages), a lovely picture and the BEST thing was from my sister, which was a voucher for us a to have a night in a lovely hotel somewhere. We haven't been away for SO long that I can't wait. Now we've just got to decide where.

What did Father Christmas bring you lot?

PrincessBoo · 01/01/2011 22:47

Fabby pressies Rie - I think vouchers are wonderful - so nice to choose new clothes - it's been ages since I've been able to afford a clothes spree (about 3 years funnily enough!)

InTheSunshine · 01/01/2011 22:48

Aries tis my job to find luffly hotels for people so if you want any suggestions just let me know Smile

PrincessBoo · 01/01/2011 22:49

Just suggest some anyway Sunny I want to dream of holidays :o

Ariesgirl · 01/01/2011 22:50

When I say "lovely hotel" I mean "lovely country B&B type place" rather than anything dead posh Grin.

I have the little booklet somewhere. Will have a look.

InTheSunshine · 01/01/2011 22:59

Well in the UK...

Bath Spa
Whatley Manor
Kilworth House
The Old Rectory (Devon)
Gleneagles (if you have a million pounds!)
Lainston House
Boskeriss (Cornwall)
The Peacock at Rowsley
The Ashton Lancaster

Funky city hotels
42 The Calls in Leeds
Radisson Edwardian Manchester
Blythswood Square Glasgow
Great John Street Manchester

I could go on & on & on..... I love hotels. I'm a hotel geek.

InTheSunshine · 01/01/2011 23:01

Rie look on I-Escape on tinernet. Tis smashing for small, beautiful, cool, ok prices.

PrincessBoo · 01/01/2011 23:07

Mr Boo wants to go to Alderley Edge and Jodrell Bank Sunny Can you find us somewhere to stay up there, that's child friendly and not too 'spensive?

Ariesgirl · 02/01/2011 12:28

Thanks SunnyD!

owlbooty · 02/01/2011 12:41

I want to stay here and have always wanted to stay there since I was driven past it as a small child on the way to Croyde for holibobs. However I have never managed to stay there as it is expensive and I am poor :( Perhaps this year, if I drop very heavy hints around my birthday/anniversary which I have conveniently placed within a week of each other. Grin

Ariesgirl · 02/01/2011 12:55

Aaah, Saunton. We used to snowboard down the dunes. One time I was rolled down in a tractor inner tube. Such fun
