I declare this Ski Season open!

A yardarm is on a ship I believe, Pellet. About sixish, according to Rosamunde Pilcher novels.

Rest assured I am not plaguey - I intend to have immunity against the current load of germs. The Christmas barf- and snotfest was enough for anyone for one winter. By all means don your facemask if you wish.

Remember the adorable hotel I showed y'all? I haz booked it Two nights next week. The black clouds are parting just at the thought, as long as MrA doesn't insist on taking his surfboard. I can see that.

BarbiesBeaver · 24/01/2011 15:26

I am here, don't fret my little BESHies. Has someone pumped? It stinks under here.

Warning: Self Indulgence Ahead.
I am hiding and going off my melon trying to analyse boob soreness, wombular twinges, tiredness levels and so on. I am also getting a bit of rage/tearfulness so feeling a bit PMT. I am so bloody bored of waiting. Infertility is so boring. I am so READY for the rest of it now please, the whole shebang, birth, breastfeeding, late nights, huge bump, nursery, everything. I'M READY UNIVERSE, DO YOU HERE MEEEEEEE!

I feel a bit better now. I will amputate the feet from anyone saying POAS. That is all.

Ariesgirl · 24/01/2011 15:50

You would be surprised re the board. If it happens to come at the same time as some swell I don't know whether to say "No you're not taking your fucking board!" and stamp my feet tearfully or allow the board to come so that he doesn't sigh and look wistful the whole time. If you marry a surfer this is what you get. There's no point trying to change them.

BarbiesBeaver · 24/01/2011 15:58

Good job we both surf or there would be tears in our house. Although, sometimes he goes on his own while I get to dick about on the puter/read books/cook. You could do what my friend did and "accidentally" run it over....

Have you seen this [bbear]

BarbiesBeaver · 24/01/2011 16:00

We've booked to go to Perranporth in March too, so we can both go surfing. The place also has a heated outdoor shower and hot tub....mmmm. I guess if I'm not diffed I'll get my moneys worth from all of that, plus be able to get pished and be up for plenty of shags. Although the droid has kindly turned up the last two years we've tried to do that in March. How does it know??

owlbooty · 24/01/2011 16:13

There is no point fighting the board; he will just spend the whole weekend staring at the sea mournfully. Trust me, I have been there and done that.

BB the droid always knows when you are going on holiday. Oh yes. It Knows.

Ariesgirl · 24/01/2011 16:15

"Burns emoticons"?? I've seen it all now. I trust they will be doing St David's Day ones?

If I accidentally ran over his board, I would be in a divorce court. No question. Perranporth eh? Perhaps we could "arrange something"? When in March? Let's talk elsewhere.

Ariesgirl · 24/01/2011 16:17

Oh and crossed with OwlPellet - yes, the droid always knows when to turn up. Of course it does. I've said before it is a conscious being with the intelligence of a demon.

Ariesgirl · 24/01/2011 16:18

PS "MrA* took his board on honeymoon!

Ariesgirl · 24/01/2011 16:18

Don't quite know what happened to my punctuation there - sorry.

I'll stop cluster posting now.

owlbooty · 24/01/2011 16:35

Mr Shoes put his back out windsurfing the weekend before last and is now hobbling around like an old codger. So no windsurfing and no shaggage either. And I'm having to pick his socks up off the floor for him. Sheesh.

Worst droid arrival ever was probably on the top of a mountain in the Alps, trying to struggle out of the million layers of padded thermal clothing in a tiny french bog on top of said mountain to deal with the aftermath was not amusing at all. Fucking bastard droid.

It's that or the time it randomly started in the middle of a maths lesson. Or the time it started on the first day of my honeymoon. Grrrr, grrrr, grrrr.

LadyGoneGaga · 24/01/2011 16:56

My board is currently residing at my mates house in Perranporth. Haven't used it since broke up with my ex...in 2006ish. I suspect my ex was rather more into it than me! Maybe I should try and flog it - or keep it and pass it onto MiniG when the time comes.

LadyGoneGaga · 24/01/2011 16:57

Administers soothing hair strokes and shin kicks to BB. When was the spunk reinserted?

kat2504 · 24/01/2011 17:47

The droid is psychic. It always knows. Mine turned up the first weekend I spent with my boyfriend. It has failed to appear on holidays so far but it is due on our next one in February. It has appeared for a good number of special occasions in the past year, stupid evil thing. It has usually done very well with first day of new job too - 2 out of 3 so far.

Hope you enjoy your holiday aries - two nights away should be just what you need. Tell him he will be too busy for surfing! We are going to Bruges at the end of February which I am looking forward too. Wrong week for SWI but since we are going on the ferry with the teeny little cabin bunks, that is probably a good thing!

In woofling news I was very stupid and did a ultra early test I happened to have hanging about. Seems like babyfail number 6 is upon me. Oh well, could be too early, could be excuse for the bottle glass of vino I am enjoying. Before you look at the time, my theory is that it's always six o clock somewhere!

kat2504 · 24/01/2011 17:53

Hey Boo just read the previous page sorry you have been having a crap time with the family :( It is crap sometimes and you can't choose or change them unfortunately. Glad you have made up with MrBoo and got lovely backscratches. Am looking forward to seeing special BESH patented backscratcher on general sale v soon.

Ariesgirl · 24/01/2011 18:28

Bruges is lovely, Kat. Have you been before? Have you seen In Bruges? Watch it before you go, if not. Granted you shouldn't have a murderous, evil Ralph Fiennes determined to kill you pursuing you, but the town looks lovely!

kat2504 · 24/01/2011 18:57

OOh a film, will watch, thanks. Have been many years ago on school trip but that barely counts. Was in 1992 methinks!

PrincessBoo · 24/01/2011 19:41

Lo.

I'm still snotty, and have purchased some night nurse to get me to sleep tonight, I am assured it is fantastic stuff.

Yes, In Bruges is a fab film.

I have never been surfing, although I fancy it I am afraid of making a complete tit of myself. Maybe I will come to Parranporth for the day and the holidaying BESHkind can teach me...

Sorry about the testing fail Kat but remember it aint over till the rusty fucker sings.

I can't afford them anyway so it's waiting till Feb 2nd for me. We are going to centerparcs with some mates for four nights, with another family on that day - superb planning by me. Hmm Ultracheap because it's going to be fecking freezing. She is also a BESH type - many mcs heartache. We are both hoping to be diffed and due on the same day, most odd. We met up and went though each scenario - both diffed, both not diffed, one diffed and not the other. TBH if she is I will be so overjoyed for her, even if I'm not. I'd prefer it to be that way round in a way.

owlbooty · 24/01/2011 19:44

What day was it, Kat ? If it was less than day 12 I am going to unleash the haddock in your general direction Grin If it was 12 or more I shall pass you the corkscrew and extra-large BESHglass.

Bruges - ah, home of tasty chocolate drenched waffles. Damn, those Belgians know how to pig out.

Ivegotmrbitey · 24/01/2011 20:00

Hello, sorry to post and run earlier, was sent home from work and spent until now asleep. The fdh made me tomato(?e) soup and am now getting in with boo for more of the lovely snoozing Smile

rierie I would insist he takes his board and spends a good deal of time on magic seaweed comparing swell, wind direction and blah blah blah. This will guarantee no waves while you look like vay tolerant wife, works for me everytime! Ooh btw if you are a fact fan whitesands bay was the location for the tragic scene in harry potter with dobby's sad demise. That should take his mind off the lack of surf!

Am feeling inspired to book a holiday now, possibly Linton and Lidmouth. Will hex the FDH now by commenting on the fabbo surfing to be had there!

PrincessBoo · 24/01/2011 20:00

Just realised that I said 'I can't afford them anyway' with no reference to anything. I meant early testing pregnancy tests.

kat2504 · 24/01/2011 20:02

ok send me the haddock! nuff said!!
I forgot about waffles, will put them on the to-do list.
boo centreparks sounds nice and good to have a likeminded friend who won't tell you to relax etc. Not good that you have both had heartache obviously but good that she can relate to how you feel.

PrincessBoo · 24/01/2011 20:02

I had soup too Bitey - Heinz tomato for the best kind of comfort :o

I do luffs Harry Potter. Where is this whitesands bay?

kat2504 · 24/01/2011 20:03
