Ok ladies, here's the new thread, let's hope it's a lucky one!

raspberrytipple · 10/12/2010 07:51

Morning ladies, just popped in to say a quick hello. Am babysitting tonight so may be able to do a proper catch up in peace. No news here, on CD28. Sore melons and a few cramps/heaches so believe AF to be around by next Saturday. I don't mind too much, means a mega drinkathon with friends next weekend to celebrate my birthday!

I went to panto last night and got my name read out and they all sang happy birthday to me and another girl! My friend rang in advance to tell them. I don't know why I got so embarrassed, I went bright red!! Funny. Then I feel up a slope walking out of the car park but I a comical way, got half way up, slipped then slid all the way down on all fours, backing right onto to DPs mate doggy style!!! Was hilarious, you'd have thought we were drunk but we'd not had anything. DPs mate had to push an DP had to pull. My friend was then picked up and carried as she was wearing killer heels. In the snow!!! I ask you. Anyway, off to work now. Be back later!!

raspberrytipple · 10/12/2010 07:52

I meant fell up a slope!!

JosieSmith1 · 10/12/2010 09:09

Morning everyone

No sign yet of ERTD but I think I may have PMT Xmas Blush

Was out last night and although I didn't drink much I was up quite late and then had to go and do three horses without DH this morning, I'm rather tired! That could explain the snappiness Xmas Blush

LankyLegs · 10/12/2010 09:48

Hello lovely frolickers!

Sorry I have not been around ? got caught up in house move, snow and now back at work. To be honest I have been trying not to stress too much about TTC and just waiting for FC appointment next Weds 15th. Being on mumsnet is both great and not so great at the same time if you know what I mean (you can only help but not try and browse all the threads where BFPs keep popping up!)

So apologies for not name checking everyone ? Hope everyone is ok. We really do need a flurry of BFPs to up the anti though. Will defo keep popping in time to time and will lurk as always.

Waves to everyone and Garden really impressed with the shagathon this month? you make me proud!

Lorra love!

Morning Frolickers,

Lanky so lovely to see you - I hope the house move went well? I am keeping my fingers crossed for your FC appt Xmas Grin And here, have a large orchid and a bottle of fizz as a housewarming pressie xxx

Tiger I told DH about your pets and we both chuckled madle - our cat is a real pain in the arse when we are trying to sleep. Her favourite thing is to wait until we are in a nice cosy deep sleep and then jump on us while making some wierd kind of war cry. She also creeps under the duvet and bites our toes! She hasn't tried extracting earplugs yet though ... Anyway, I hope you are feeling better today and, if you are at home, that the builders have quietened down?

Raspberry excellent work on the comedy doggy style slide down the slope! Hilarious!

Josie great news about ERTD staying away ... will keep my fingers crossed

Not much news from me - am working from home today but I don't have that much to do so am going to take it easy and hang out with the pets. Mr G is only working for a few hours this morning so we might be thoroughly self-indulgent and watch DVDs this afternoon! Tomorrow is the six year anniversary of when we met so I am trying to think of somewhere nice to go for dinner ... I thought somewhere local would work as then we can get drunk and not worry about getting home have a more relaxed evening Xmas Grin

xxx

TigerseyeMum · 10/12/2010 11:55

Morning :)

I am feeling a little better thanks Garden. I have managed to get up, wash, get dressed and do some housework, so that's something.

Poor Mr Tiger is feelig the strain if coping with everything - as our remaining dog is very much on his last legs he takes a lot of looking after, and had a bad fall yesterday and I had to call Mr T to come home as I could not manage. Then the dog fell off his bed in his sleep at 2am, again I got Mr Tiger up to deal with it but my poor dog was so sound asleep that he went into panic mode when he went to pick him up, bit Mr Tiger, pooed in panic then flailed the poo all round the lounge Blush

Cue extensive cleaning up. So this morning I have got up and hoovered and tidied and I shall try to get something cooked for later.

Today should be ovulation day. It is also our 18th anniversary. I hope that is an omen.

Giggling at the sliding down a slope on all fours Raspberry Grin

JosieSmith1 · 10/12/2010 12:19

Oh TigersEye your poor doggy, and poor Mr Tiger being bitten! Hope your lounge looks pretty after your cleaning!

No sign of ERTD but as I'm sure you'll all know by now it doesn't usually show up till the afternoon and sometimes even day 29 so I'm waiting until at least sudnay morning before POAS if it doesn't arrive

TigerseyeMum · 10/12/2010 12:26

Josie I hate the waiting game, trying not to get too excited but really all you're thinking is 'plizplizplizpliz'.

Mine was 4 days late last month which was annoying. I bought a stick but never got round to peeing on it, just as well, saved myself a fiver.

I hope you need to POAS on Sunday and get a BFP Grin

JosieSmith1 · 10/12/2010 13:09

Thanks TigersEye, I have been thinking that all day Xmas Grin Whenever someone asks me to do something I just want to say - can't you tell I'm preoccupied with whether ERTD has arrived yet Xmas Grin

womanlytales · 10/12/2010 21:36

Hi,
Just checking in or acknowledging that I am lurking - LOL Big hello to Lanky I have my consultant visit on Dec 15 - Hope you have a good visit.
Best of luck with those poasing this weekend. On another thread the welcome message said babydusters not welcome and I laughed... I can definitely relate.. and it's been a terribly dry spell here at the frolickers....
Fingers crossed for garden and the rest of you -- We're headed for some bfps for Xmas - I am sure of it..

raspberrytipple · 11/12/2010 07:22

ERTD got me ladies :(

Feel a bit down but I think a lot of it is because of the cramps, they are very ouchie. So looks like I will be working for a Christmas conception. Gonna give it a bloody good go I think. And get drunk in the process!! I do feel a bit sad though, why is it just not easy like it is for other people.

Anyway, I'm going to wrap presents while drinking wine tonight I think!!! Have a good weekend all xx

womanlytales · 11/12/2010 10:03

Sorry that ertd got u..raspberry .hope you feel better soon.

cookiemoo · 11/12/2010 10:21

Just a quick catch up from me whilst I await ertd imminent arrival. Sorry it caught you raspberry. X
Thought I'd contribute to the amusing names for boobs! A fab of mine is knorks!! Always makes me giggle!! Waves to all as off to spend the day with mr moo!!! Xxx

Morning ladies

Raspberry so sorry ERTD got you. I know there's not much I can say to make it better but here, have this large vat of mulled wine to take the edge off

Tiger poor Mr Tiger! And poor hound ... and poor you for having to clean up dog poo. I hope it's all gone now and it wasn't too traumatic. How was your anniversary? Did you get up to anything nice? Hope you managed to celebrate ov day too with a spot of flag hoisting Wink

Josie hope ERTD is staying away!

Womanly lovely to see you; how are you doing? I hope you are well - your appt has come round so quickly! Hopefully they'll be able to shed light on things for you and we might be clomid buddies again soon!

Cookie knorks is great! There's something deeply comedic about a silent 'k' anyway, but it's even funnier on a boob related word (how old am I....?)

No news from me, no signs or symptoms or anything but I'm not expecting anything at the mo as I usually don't get any sore bits until a week after ov so that gives me the weekend to enjoy before I start frantic symptom spotting!

Happy Saturdays all round xxx Xmas Grin

I heard the words 'adequate bappage' yesterday. They were talking about boobies.... made me chuckle all evening!

Well, I am going to spend the day cleaning my appallingly disgustingly, dirty house, I just haven't bothered the last two weeks and DP has taken the opportunity to bring his beloved mountain bike into the living room and take it apart, polish it, replace bits, just look at it and proclaim how awesomely beautiful it is...... men Confused

cookiemoo hope ERTD doesn't get you - fingers crossed!!

Josie any news?

womanly - nice to hear from you, hope your appointment goes well on 15th x

tiger you had a stick you didn't get round to peeing on!! That is definitely the right attitude. I have one in the draw I was planned to use today so it makes a change for ERTD to show up before I use it - it usually waits until I've used £15 worth os sticks and then turns up to mock me!

Garden congratulations on your anniversary! Hope you have a lovely day. Any other symptoms yet!! Grin

tomboy well done you surviving the Christmas party. I don't think I'll ever have a hangover from a works do. I just don't work with the sort of people I would ever get hammered with and the ones I would I socialise with outside of work where I know it's safe!! Any news on ERTD and your bappage/wongas?

Cavey excellent list of alternatives for me. Mind you, most of these are making me chuckle just as much!!!

Lanky nice to see you, I know what you mean about mumsnet, it can be dangerously addictive if not careful and I also get obsessed sometimes with looking at threads with lots of BFPs and I know I shouldn't. I try to stick just to this one and maybe a 2ww thread when I'm on it. Sometimes it is good to have a break from it all though.

hello toria, karstan and all the other lurkers!!! Hope you're are feeling better after your prodding earlier in the week Karstan.

And on that note I probably wont be on much now until after Christmas when the social calender calms down hence the big catch up here! I shall obviously lurk in case of BFPs!!

Have a FAB-U-LASSSSSSS !!!! Chrimbo everyone!!!!
xxxx

Xmas Smile

TigerseyeMum · 11/12/2010 12:11

Morning...no, afternoon :)

Sorry about attacks of the ERTD :( maybe next time...

I feel that I deserve a medal for SWIing in the face of adversity (flu and tracheitis), we stood by our beds again for our anniversary in betwen prolonged coughing fits. Can't say we haven't given it a good go. I don't feel like I have ovved though. Dunno why.

Garden the most exciting thing we did for our anniversary was takeaway followed by bath. Woohooh.

Hoping everyone is ok and dodging the nasty bugs out there. Should do some shopping later for the last few bits but not sure can face it! It's hell out there and we live 10 minutes from one of the UK's biggest shopping centres - apparently 30,000 people come to town prior to Christmas, on weekends. Yuck.

TomboyWife · 11/12/2010 13:49

ERTD got me too. Sad

On the bright side, Christmas is a very good time to be un-pregnant Xmas Grin and at least this cycle was, at 27 days, a proper length. So that's a good sign that things are going back to normal after my recent bout of irregularity.

I'll update the list in a sec.

I insist you make your way through this bucket of ginger wine to warm your cockles

CaveMum · 11/12/2010 16:44

Afternoon ladies. Just a quick post to say sorry ERTD got some of you. As has been said, at least it means you can indulge over Christmas.

I'm visiting my parents this weekend so lots of driving for me! I've left DH at home to cat sit and finish his Chrimbo shopping! He was too busy to be able to come with me, and it is just a flying visit - I arrived at 9pm last night and head home at 9am tomorrow, otherwise I won't get to see DH at all this week!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend ladies!

JosieSmith1 · 11/12/2010 17:38

Wot a crappy weekend. ERTD got me 2. Fuckin fed up, sorry 4 the french. Will catch up 2morrow, off 2 party (won't b fun-DH's family)

cookiemoo · 11/12/2010 17:48

Looks like the bitch has got me too!! 2 days early so there goes my 10 luteal phase!! Sorry for the grump, will catch up later. :(

Sympathies to you all.
