Ok ladies, here's the new thread, let's hope it's a lucky one!

He hugged me He signed my programme as well. He was absolutely adorable!

Well the spotting has returned and is bright pink, so I think that's it. Have just spoken to OH and worked out when we can make a Drs appt. Bleugh... Might have myself another large glass of wine. And turn Knocked Up off. That was a bad plan...

TigerseyeMum · 18/01/2011 23:00

Everyone's been at it with him Angry

Toria sorry about ERTD :( Maybe it isn't

ToriaPumpkinHead · 18/01/2011 23:38

Tiger He usually makes a deal that if you buy a programme he will make the effort to meet you and sign it. I always meant to ask him about a complete looper I met on another forum who told us all she was his cousin, but I forgot that night and it's bugged me since lol.

Just cried my eyes out to the end of Knocked Up, as I did Juno and Away We Go and have promised myself I will stop watching these films. OH took my hand and told me I was leaking [complete sap emoticon] Am now going to finish my wine and go to bed and throw myself into work for three days, then into drinking at a Burn's Supper for the weekend. And tell myself to stop being so pathetic and go to the Dr.

Will undoubtedly be back tomorrow ladies, for now sweet dreams xxx

OP posts:
TigerseyeMum · 18/01/2011 23:46

You're not pathetic or sappy Get a good night's kip and take care xxx

JosieSmith1 · 19/01/2011 12:16

Have to admit I think Jimmy Carr is, not good looking, but there?s something about him, I think it?s his confidence for me, he says what he thinks and doesn?t care if it offends. Now Lee Evans, don?t get me started Blush

Nothing to report here except we are SWIWI Grin. We were bickering when we went to bed and neither of us were in the mood but still made the effort, even DH is saying we need to now! Hopefully we can keep it up the rest of the week Hmm

Fingerscrossed1 · 19/01/2011 14:59

Toria Hope you're ok today. Look forward to plenty of wine at the weekend and there's always next time.

Nothing to report here. I'm in 2ww but really not expecting a BFp at all as we only managed it once in the week I ov'd and I think even that was too early. Can't wait til it's time to try again.

I think I find the wait from ERTD to ovulation time harder that the normal 2ww...at least with the normal 2ww there's some hope that you might be pregnant but after ERTD you can't even hope and have to wait to even try again! Does anyone else find that?

Truffkin · 19/01/2011 15:16

Hi Frolickers, hope all is well on this brighter than normal Wednesday! I'm finding things far easier now I've reached CD3 and the moping of CD1 are in the distant past Grin am looking forward to a relaxing long weekend of spa-ing, accompanying my friend for wedding dress trying on (can't wait!) and a birthday party to go to as well (so lots of wine, yum)

We saw Jimmy Carr just before Christmas, we got tickets last minute for the Hammersmith Apollo as they had some returns due to the snow. He was really funny and he did stay behind afterwards to talk to people, although we didn't hang about to see him. My favourite thing was how he dealt with hecklers, he just put them straight in their place and had the whole audience onto some of them!

FingersCrossed I will be keeping my fingers crossed even though you are not hoeful, you never know! I tend to find both the 2WW and the pre-ovulation 2WW equally as distracting, although during the pre-ov 2WW at least there is nothing to be worrying / hoping about so life can carry on as normal.

I am waffling on now. I shall stop and come back when I have something more interesting to say!

JosieSmith1 · 19/01/2011 17:41

I will cross my fingers for you too FingersCrossed, as someone once told me, it only takes one time

I have been dirty texting DH all day Blush, I'm sure you all wanted to know that Grin and now I'm eating cookies which are guaranteed to make me hyper by the time I get home Grin

Forgot to mention, tried on my bridesmaid dress yesterday and although it's really nice, I don't suit dresses so my initial reaction wasn't great but I'm sure I'll get used to it. It fits perfectly now, and although the style means if I have a bump by then it'll just hang over the top, I'm worried I might balloon all over and will have to buy another dress but it might not be in stock by then Confused (that's a worried face). Oh well, I'm not putting off TTC cos she knows we are and if it goes wrong it's her fault for buying them early (she did say she'd wait until March just in case)

ToriaPumpkinHead · 19/01/2011 18:15

Evening ladies.

Fingerscrossed I've got everything crossed for you lovely Smile And in true frollickers style, it's usually the person who doesn't think they stand a chance of
being pregnant that get the BFP!

Josie Hope the texting and cookies do their job Grin What's the dress like?

Feeling slightly less weepy now, though not a lot. OH is in the bad books as after ERTD arrived properly today, I plucked up the courage to phone the doctor, tell them it had to be on certan days and after certain times, to suit him, so that he could come with me, as he promised me he would, and asked for a female doctor. I've got an apppointment for next Wednesday night. I text him to tell him and said that although he had scouts it was the only time I could get. He replied with "That's the Burn's Supper." I'm going to kill him dead. I replied that it was the only appointment I could get so I would go alone. He hasn't replied and is now at parents' evening. Grrr...

Hello

Toria - yes, definitely go to the appointment yourself now that it's in the diary. It's impossible to arrange things around men - they seem to have an ingrained ability to always double-book things no matter how hard you try. I hope you will be able to relax between now and the appointment.

Well my ERTD was the shortest I've ever known it - it usually drags on for days but this time it has been over and done with in 2 days. Small mercies I suppose!

I saw the doc today (on something completely unrelated) and asked advice on whether I should be doing anything (apart from the obvious Grin ) to prepare myself for possible pregnancy - she's the first person who I've told face to face that we're TTC - it felt very strange!

Have a nice evening all.

Truffkin · 19/01/2011 20:41

Toria sorry you are feeling down and I understand it's frustrating that your DH is not being as supportive as he could be, maybe he is worried and that is what is making him reluctant? I second Impers in saying that you should definitely go to the appointment now you have it, we'll be here for you to rant at when you need us too (((hugs)))

I'm hoping ERTD buggers off overnight as it's my spa time tomorrow! I am really excited as we have some lovely treatments booked, the rooms look lovely and the dinner is supposed to be amazing. There is also a champagne bar that I am very much looking forward to testing out! I'm supposed to be sorting out my overnight bag but DH has cooked us enchilladas for dinner so I'm going to have them and watch Michel Roux Jnr's programme before sorting myself out, it's such a boring job to do!

weimy · 19/01/2011 20:47

josie Glad DH is on board!!!

I have sore breasticles today and think that I might actually be ov today instead of the day predicted so am planing to jump on DP when he gets in from football, well after he has had a shower!

Sorry to all those who have been got by ertd :(

ToriaPumpkinHead · 19/01/2011 21:20

It's fine, I shall just make him feel teribly guilty about it and get something pretty Grin Will definitely go alone if he persists, in fact it might be easier to discuss some of the stuff if I'm alone, I've been working out dates and the number of months we decided to risk it before we started officially TTC brings the total number of failed cycles up to about 18 months Confused Pretty sure that would freak even him out. Does make me feel less like I'm fibbing though!

Enjoy the SWI those of you that are, and those who are in one of the 2WWs hope it's not too terrible. Truff I hope ERTD clears off in time for you! I'm very proud of myself for staying off the wine tonight and after a shiteous night last night am off to bed. Night all!

((((Toria)))))) and big sloppy licks from the weimy pack xx

JosieSmith1 · 20/01/2011 08:42

Oh Toria, that?s not very sensitive of your DH! Glad that you feel you can talk openly though if you?re on your own, hopefully you?ll get some good results and then can get your DH on board

Truff have a fab time at the spa, it sounds divine!

Weimy hope your breasticles aren?t too sore today Grin

DH and I really had to force ourselves to do the deed last night Shock isn?t that terrible! We have done it three nights in a row now and it does get a bit chafey Blush, but even while he?s ill with man flu a cough he rose to the occasion BlushGrin

Imps7 · 20/01/2011 09:17

Morning

Really hope you're feeling more cheery today Toria - at least you won't have a hangover!

Josie - nothing worse than SWI fatigue, particularly if accompanied by chafing!!!

Well OH and I have decided that in order to take the pressure off a bit while we're TTC we're going to get our kitchen re-done. The logic is that for each month that the ERTD gets us is another month's savings in the pot; the longer it takes us to conceive, the nicer our kitchen will be. Now obviously a new kitchen is no baby substitute but at least it gives us something else to obsess about focus on. In fact, I've just spent half an hour on various DIY and kitchen websites, rather than on baby names sites - it's working already!

Right, on with the day then.

Fingerscrossed1 · 20/01/2011 12:56

Toria Hope you're feeling better. I really think men just think differently, he probably doesn't understand how important it is for him to be there at the docs.

Imps7 I love the new kitchen/something else to focus on strategy. Will definately give you something else to think about...I'm trying to find something else but due to post Christmas lack of fundage need to think of something cheaper that a new kitchen...and a holiday Confused

JosieSmith1 · 20/01/2011 13:57

Imps I have a goal amount of money to save to before we can really afford a baby so every time ERTD arrives I add another month onto our end date and think well at least we have more time to save. We're decorating in a few weeks when we're both off work, nothing major, just some wallpapering, but it will definitely take my mind off it

CaveMum · 20/01/2011 18:25

Evening ladies!

The money incentives all sound like a great plan. DH and I want to move house this year so we're ploughing every penny into our savings account at the moment.

I have my next Drs appointment first thing tomorrow morning. I'm getting the results of my blood test back so fingers crossed it will tell us where to go from here.

Smile everyone: it's almost the weekend Grin

weimy · 20/01/2011 20:05

josie breasticles still tender Blush It was the same last cycle :(

lol:o I think to myself if I don't get pg this month that is more time with my new Sept 11 gcse/A-level groups to start them on their coursework. How sad am I !!!!

FX Cavemum!

lol at chaffing imps !

ToriaPumpkinHead · 20/01/2011 20:13

Evening girls. Loving all the money incentives, we're still paying off our last kitchen and house move, though we should have that cleared this month, which will be nice!

Josie I'm sorry but I did laugh at the thought of you and your DH forcing yourselves to do the deed.

Weimy thanks for the kisses and licks, I am going to have to get a pet soon methinks, just need to convince him!

Well he came home literally ten minutes after my last post and told me the supper was cancelled and he would be at the appt. I didn't even have to guilt trip him! He also listened attentively when I started dropping hints about Radley and my birthday Grin Pretty sure he doesn't realise how upset I was, but the end result is the same so we wont dwell on it.

Just been for relflex, she had to cancel earlier in the week as she was unwell. It was a lovely session, I managed not to cry this week, think my reflexologist was still a bit rough though as she wasn't as chatty as normal, either that or she's finally reached her limit with my chatter lol. I've also booked myself and my best friend in for a hot stone massage in two weeks time Grin She said there was lots of congestion in my digestive system, and I think that's down to ERTD, but she said my reproductive system was all beautifully clear, so my positive thinking is doing something good Grin

Have ordered Domino's for dinner as I didn't want to cook so just waiting for it to arrive then it's time for new Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother Grin

Hello everybody sorry I have been MIA for a while but felt I just needed a break from it all but I have missed you guys and your advice so much! Congratulations to everybody who has had BFP since I have been gone.
Think its going to take me a while to catch up on everyone's news.
As for me I have seen a specialist at the London Bridge hospital and I am booked in for an operation at 8am this Saturday. I am a bit scared but know it needs to be done. I am having a laparoscopy while having ovarian drilling, tubes flushed, check for endo and if they find some laser it away and the normal poke about. Fingers crossed its going to work!
Only in for the day (hopefully if all goes smoothly) but need to pack a bag so off to do that in a minute.
If possible can someone add me to the not counting days list next time its updated. I figure my cycles might be a bit stuffed after the op so will start counting again after my next ERTD.

Flickstar · 21/01/2011 03:21

Ps. It's Miss Flick here just with a name change as I deleted my old account so couldn't have my old user name back :(

Florin · 21/01/2011 07:17

Flick I have missed you, how is everything going with you. Have you managed to sort out your cysts?
