Ok ladies, here's the new thread, let's hope it's a lucky one!

Wow, what a day!

Cavey great news from your appointment and it's great that you got a lovely sonographer as some of the stories are less than pleasant.

FingersCrossed congrats to you, what a lovely surprise!

LateToTheParty nice to meet you and welcome to the droiks gang Grin You sound very well informed for your first cycle! I have been charting for a few months now and although I like knowing what is going on, it makes me mad when there is no BFP at the end of a months when everything was timed to perfection!!

Toria the bayble thing is something a friend and I joke about. We used to do this really stupid rhyming thing that eventually ended up in a sentence, one of which was 'put Mable the bable over there on the table, to watch Clark Gable on cable' - we're complete dorks Grin

I have been planting trees all day today for a volunteering scheme we have at work. It was bloody hard work but we had a real sense of achievement at the end of the day having dug in, planted and mulched nearly 3000 between 35 of us! I had a hot bath when I got home but am anticipating aching muscles tomorrow after all that digging!

KalokiMallow · 13/01/2011 23:57

Congrats Roundtable!!

Cavemum I did the same, drank far far too much. Which wasn't helped by them running late! lol. Glad there's no sign of PCOS!

Spent today packing at the flat, hit me quite hard that we are homeless. I've been trying so hard not to think about it, but it's becoming a real struggle. Not helped by not sleeping. It's quite difficult to sleep when I'm living in the same room I sleep in.

Though when I did sleep last night, I dreamt that we had a little girl. Pale skin, dark straight hair and big blue eyes. Don't know if I ever told you lot, but both DH and I have dreamt that we had two little girls, on the same night. Before we'd even decided to try for a baby.

DH has dreamt about these two girls before as well, before we even met, and had a vague idea of what their mum looked like. She looked like me.

CaveMum · 14/01/2011 07:23

Kaloki sorry about your housing situation. It is not much comfort I know, but at least you will be well rid of your awful landlord. Am I right in thinking you are moving in with family?

How spooky about the dreams! I'm not a supernatural/superstitious kind of person, but I've had some very spooky dreams myself over the years and definitely think there is a connection to a higher level of conciousness (sp?) if you know what I mean.

Thanks to all for the supportive comments. I feel more relaxed than ever now! Obviously there are still some investigations to be done, but (and I may be wrong) it seems that a hormonal imbalance will be easier to correct.

Happy Friday everyone!

LateToTheTTCParty · 14/01/2011 07:36

thanks Truffkin - kind of you to say I sound well-informed, I really don't feel it! DH & I have spent the last 11 months seeing a gynaecologist, getting a few things sorted out just to get to the point where we can start ttc... I've hoovered up all the info I can & am feeling my way through this first cycle - if it all comes together with a BFP on or around 28 Feb I will be absolutely gobsmacked!

Poor DH actually asked if we could 'just cuddle' last night - I think I may have actually worn him out over the last few days! Grin

LateToTheTTCParty · 14/01/2011 07:51

Sorry, I meant 28 JAN (not Feb - that would take it a little over 2ww!)

Fingerscrossed1 · 14/01/2011 10:11

Wow, congratulations roundtable! Grin

JosieSmith1 · 14/01/2011 11:01

Morning everyone

Had an argument with DH this morning, he says he's tired as he's off work but hasn't had a lie in as he's dropping me off at work and doing the horse for me. I told him to do it twice a day for 6 months while working full time and doing the housework then come back to em and see if he's tired Grin. So now I'm waiting for my apology Grin. It better come before days 10-14...

KalokiMallow · 14/01/2011 11:09

Haha Grin well done Josie

Cavey We're staying with family at the moment, too scared to stay at the flat. Trying to find somewhere new to live, both privately and through the council. So few letting agents are willing to take on HB tenants that we are having to hope that the council will help. It's not like we can stay with family for long, staying on the floor is destroying my back.

cherrycobbler · 14/01/2011 11:19

roundtable congrats!! do pop over to the grads thread whenever you feel ready...

cavey really pleased to hear your scan went well. have fx'd that they can now sort it out easily.

kaloki sorry to hear about your flat situation - really hope you manage to find somewhere soon xx

hello and mid-morning croissants for everyone else!

womanlytales · 14/01/2011 13:23

Good news on the scan front cavey -- Big wave to everyone from a lurker :) Am off for my 2 week holiday so will lurk back in Feb when I also get ready for my round with injectables.

JosieSmith1 · 14/01/2011 14:21

Congrats Roundtable!!

Kaloki really hope you get sorted soon

raspberrytipple · 14/01/2011 15:34

ERTD got me :( back to CD 1 for me I suppose. Nevermind, DP and I just went and ordered our wedding rings so I'm all happy again now!

Truffkin · 14/01/2011 18:10

Rasberry bugger to the evil red one, maybe the fates are timing it so you just have a lovely neat little bump under your wedding dress Wink

Getting wedding rings was one of my very favourite things about planning our wedding. My DH doesn't wear jewellery of any kind and seeing him with a ring on was amazing!

Kaloki really hope you get something sorted soon, I have my fingers crossed for you.

Cavey great news, more finger crossing going on (I'm going to struggle this weekend!)

Off home from work now to start the weekend properly, hopefully having a night out with friends tomorrow for a good catch up, which will be lovely. I think I've got the start of a cold coming so will make sure I keep warm and have a hot toddy or five Grin

haloflo · 14/01/2011 19:37

Just waddling in to say congrats to roundtable! This definatly the start of a bumper January.

Come join us in the grads thread here when you feel ready. slowshow is still a recent grad and we all remember the early days if you are worried about anything.

Waves to all. felicity if you still lurk, thinking of you.

cookiemoo · 14/01/2011 19:41

Congrats roundtable!! wonderful news!!
Quick waves to everyone!!
Just a flying visit from me to feedback after my hsg today!! Not a great exp but my tubes are clear!!! Woo hoo!!! So good news and it's Friday :) :) :)

weimy · 14/01/2011 21:07

Congrats roundtable

ToriaPumpkinHead · 14/01/2011 21:09

Sorry to hear about ERTD Raspberry Here, have a large glass of wine. Wedding ring shopping really is lovely, I still get a little thrill when I see OH's on him Grin

Womanly Enjoy your holiday!

Kaloki That's all very spooky. I too believe in a higher consciousness, I've had strange dreams like that before now, not always with great results, but since the last one was also about us having a baby (after a pumpkin card came up in a weirdy tarot deck, hence the name) I'm all for being positive and waiting for the baby to come Smile

Truff That sounds just like the kind of game my friends and I play, I think we'd get on great IRL Grin

Cookie Glad to hear your tubes are all good. Happy Friday!

Gather round ladies, gather round, for some world class symptom spotting! I asked a friend of mine a question today and she replied with "I love symptom spotting, I'll play with you!" I should point out she already has two children, so has done this all before.

So. All are welcome, bring your symptoms big and small and let the menkulling commence!

My boobs are all blue-veiny, my nipples hurt (as OH found out last night when he tried to touch them) and the front/top of my boobs hurts, like I've not been wearing a bra.

My skin itches. I must have stood on the shop floor for half an hour today scratching my legs and arms. it was not pretty.

I am EXHAUSTED. Seriously, I can barely keep my eyes open, and I'm starving with it.

I'm getting heartburn, about the same time every day, no matter what I eat (this is what what led to the aformentioned girly exclamation from my friend earlier)

This one's a bit TMI, my "bits" feel all swollen and I can often feel them pulsing. It's like when you have a particularly heavy ERTD and everything's a bit sore down there.

So, make me feel better about the fact I am failing miserably at relaxing and enjoying all this!

Toria those sound like some class A symptoms you've got going on there. Am very much keeping my fingers crossed, do you have another week before testing time?

ToriaPumpkinHead · 14/01/2011 22:48

Cheers Truff Yup. I can't figure it out properly, apparently I'm losing the ability to count, but I plan to wait until next Saturday which I think is when ERTD is due. I'm actually very proud of myself, I appear to have made it to about 10dpo without peeing on or getting the urge to pee on anything!

Truffkin · 14/01/2011 23:15

Nice work! I'm 9DPO and no symptoms in sight, in spite of some deep searching Grin yup, I've been boob prodding!

DPO = Days Past/Post Ovulation

Those symptoms sound promising Toria, fingerscrossed

I've been discussing baby names with my pregnant sister this morning so I'm hoping to invoke the law of sod. Now that I've passed on all my favourite names I'm bound to get pregnant aren't I Grin

Oh and congrats to roundtable

Karstan · 15/01/2011 16:11

Doh! I always forget to change the title, that is of course Saturday's list

Imps7 · 15/01/2011 16:52

Always lovely to hear news of a BFP - congrats to roundtable !

Toria - sounds like very positive symptoms - I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Well all of my "symptoms" completely disappeared on Friday - no gagging, no uterus pains, no nothing. Even the rabbit was back to her normal grumpy self! Awaiting ERTD today.

Bring on the booze and the SWI, I say!
