Raspberry congratulations, so exciting!

Josie my friend and I managed to consume at least 4 bottles of wine between us the night before I got my BFP, Pip's fine so far, have a drink or ten whilst you still can Xmas Grin

Hope everyone has a fab New Year

Calyx · 31/12/2010 19:41

Just popping in to wish everyone a happy New Year and lots of BFP's :)

I am still ttc but still (as ever) no news on that front. Congratulations to Raspberry on the impending nuptials! Your wedding sounds just like mine in 2008 - registry office then wee buffet party thing at his folks' nice house! It was just brilliant, stress free and I loved it. Best of luck!

And Good Luck to all here for fertility and for everything else!

JosieSmith1 · 31/12/2010 20:56

I've booked my Drs appointment for 10th Jan so here's hoping 2011 gets off to a positive start!

raspberrytipple · 01/01/2011 12:21

Happy new years peeps. Just off to tell the in-laws our news then I will be free to tell everyone!!! Yayee xxx

CrazyAlien · 01/01/2011 14:48

Happy New Year everyone :0)

raspberrytipple how exciting!!

I had a great NYE, me and DH decided to stay in and were planning a nice early ish night rather than a long drunken one in a pub full of people. well that kind of went a bit peculiar as we ended up dancing around our living room until 3am haha, never had so much fun :D we are shattered today so DH has retired back to bed and im chilling !

Hopefully we shall have a long roll of BFP's on here soon :)

ToriaPumpkinHead · 01/01/2011 18:15

Happy New Year ladies, glad you all seem to have had fun! I had a very quiet night in with the outlaws which was lovely in it's own way, for the first time I wasn't the one causing the arguments! It was tinged with a bit of sadness, my pregnant co worker caught flu and lost her baby so was in hospital last night, I had a few moments thinking of her, but she seems to be doing ok.

Back to the positive, despite BIL being here with his hyperactive dog we managed to get some SWI in (his bedroom is directly across the hall from ours and the insulation in this house is rubbish!) and today the ba' went doon so OH is going to be coming home shortly in a very good mood Grin The fizz is in the fridge and last night I discovered the delights of 20 year old sloe gin so bring it on. Am going to have to visit they who moan a lot tomorrow so might as well have a hangover while I'm at it Wink

Just one more quick thing, Raspberry August is an awesome month to be married in Wink

Have a fab evening girls, drink far too much, and I'll leave you with something someone put on bookface earlier.

"I wish you peace, love and health, blah blah blah... Fuck that shit! I wish you lots of sex, alcohol, mega hangovers, orgasms and hope you win the fucking lottery! Here's to a very happy 2011!"

Hell all, hope everyone had a good new year :)

I am glad to see the back of 2010, it was a truly shit year in which we lost both our dogs and our jobs became very unstable.

Of course 2010 gave me a parting kick in the teeth by my period arriving at 11.45pm, so no BFP there then, just a week late.

Here's hoping 2011 brings us what we want plus health and happiness.

TigerseyeMum · 02/01/2011 10:52

I meant hello all Hmm

JosieSmith1 · 02/01/2011 14:13

Happy new year everyone!

Hope 2011 is better than 2010 and brings us all bfps!

HermyaTheRedNosedReindeer · 02/01/2011 16:55

Happy New Year everyone!!!

slowshow · 02/01/2011 22:46

Happy new year ladies! 2011 is going to be a productive year, I just know it.

Amazing news about booking the registry office Raspberry. That'll be the weekend before my first wedding anniversary Grin

Your NYE sounds ace Alien!

Toria - your poor colleague, how awful.

Glad you've all been enjoying a few drinks over the Christmas period. I did! But I never drink a large amount so figured I was okay.

Course, now I feel bad because I'm CD27 (12DPO) tomorrow, and I haven't started spotting yet. This is unusual for me! My mind has already run away with me totally, and I'm DYING to POAS, but I'm going to try to wait it out. I haven't breathed a word to anyone about it, although I've been running up to the loo to knicker check so often people must think I'm ill.

I almost feel superstitutious about posting it on the internet!

slowshow · 02/01/2011 22:51

*I meant CD26. Getting carried away, see Confused

Truffkin · 03/01/2011 02:07

Hi Frolickers and sorry for my absence in the last week, I've been very much enjoying the festive season!

Raspberry such exciting news, I'm looking forward to regular updates on your wedding plans. I am also seconding that August is a fabulous month to be married in Wink

Sorry to hear that ERTD managed to get some of you but keeping my fingers crossed for Josie for our first 2011 BFP!

We had a lovely Christmas although rather hectic with lots of visiting and catching up crammed in. We were thoroughly spoiled with gifts and apart from a bit of a sickness bug I managed to develop for a couple of days (which at least managed to keep the over-eating in check!) all was good. We had friends to stay for NYE and that was also great, we were dancing and singing (on SingStar) until the early hours so had a chilled 1st Jan Grin. Then my birthday is 2nd and had a lovely day of breakfast in bed, my footie team managing to not get beaten by Chelsea, Sex and the City on blu ray, dinner out then watching the darts and ashes tonight. We're going to the PDC final tomorrow night at Ally Pally, which is just up the road from us and I can't wait for such a great way to round off the hols! Apart from making it to the grand old age of 32 and being nervous about another year TTC (eek!) all is good. I've even been distracted enough to get to CD13 without realising and how better than to start the flag hoisting with some birthday action!

Right then, am leaving some birthday cake and bucks fizz for you all to join in my celebrations. Looking forward to catching up over the next week as we all get used to normal life again x

TomboyWife · 03/01/2011 08:42

Morning ladies!

And we're back from Germany, more or less in one piece. The flight home was more of an adventure than I really needed. DH accidentally booked it for the wrong day, so we had to re-book in great haste and spend the night in the airport. Bah!

The day after we got home we went to look at a litter of puppies and came home with the cutest little guy! Our existing dog has got the hump a little bit, but is more accepting of the new arrival than I thought she'd be. (And of course, as soon as I finished typing that I heard a doggy yelp from across the house. According to DH, our existing dog sat on the puppy.)

CD twenty-something here, but I really doubt we've got anywhere this month as we didn't try to time BD and I drank way, way too much coffee in Germany. Not a lot of alcohol, but a real coffeepocalypse.

raspberry huge congrats! Looking forward to hearing about all the planning.

Boo hiss to those whom ERTD has got, but what better way to start 2011 than with a fresh new cycle and a BFP!

TomboyWife · 03/01/2011 08:54

Oh, and happy belated birthday Truff! Xmas Smile (It's a party hat, not a Santa hat. Really.)

CaveMum · 03/01/2011 09:05

Morning ladies!

SlowShow I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you Grin Try and hold on for another few days before you POAS. The "early response" tests are actually pretty unreliable so you are much better waiting till ERTD is actually late.

Truffkin sorry to hear you were ill over the holidays - we had Man Flu in our household Hmm

Tomboy sorry you had travel dramas but congrats on the new puppy! What breed did you go for?

CrazyAlien · 03/01/2011 11:46

Truffkin mucho jealous of your trip to Ally Pally tonight! I have really got into the darts this year, so want to go next year!!

Morning everyone :0 hope you are all well, I am absolutely bricking it about starting my new teaching job tomorrow! :( trying to keep busy so dont sit and panic! Not looking forward to the stress returning especially as feeling rather chillaxed now! my ov is due any day if I ovulate this month that is! need to stay relaxed as I think stress is not helping with my TTc!

this is my 3rd day with no chocolate!! I am so proud of myself :) it is very very hard especially when the house i bursting with delightful choccies all around!
x

JosieSmith1 · 03/01/2011 13:56

Thanks Truff, got my fingers crossed. Glad u had a fab birthday

Germany sounds good Tomboy, and wot kind of puppy did u get? Sounds like ur older dog is behavin around u but bossin the pup around wen ur not lookin Grin

Alien hope ur first day at work is fab and not at all scary (good luck hugs)

I've felt a bit crampy past few days which isn't like me, but apart from that I don't seem 2 have any real or imaginary symptoms

TomboyWife · 03/01/2011 14:19

Josie I'd say unusual cramping is a pretty good symptom!

Both our existing dog and our new puppy are Shiba Inus.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shiba_Inu

They're not for everyone, but if you fancy a big dog in a small body, this is a good choice.

TomboyWife · 03/01/2011 14:20

Oh, and try not to worry too much Alien. I'm sure all will be fine!

slowshow · 03/01/2011 15:22

I've taken two tests today (internet cheapies) and both times there's been a line. Faint, but still a line Shock

I keep thinking there must be a mistake - I don't feel any different!

CrazyAlien · 03/01/2011 16:08

or not my first day at work! found out stupid ex head has given me a crap reference!!!!!!! with no evidence! cant wait to show her how wrong she is! Meeting with new school on Thursday to see if I can actually have the job :( So p**d off, a great start to my year!! I have excellent observations and OFSTED even said I was good!

Grrrrrrr

TomboyWife · 03/01/2011 16:17

CONGRATS slowshow! Faint lines count! It's our first BFP of the year! Grin
