Everyone will probably see this thread was started by me and think "Oh god, not her again".

You can tell it's getting towards that time of the month.

Anyway, on day 26 of cycle - have had a really dull tummy ache for last 2 days as if A/F is going to arrive - actually been going to the toilet to check it's that bad (Gross i know but i have to be graphic).
Woke up this morning feeling really sicky but thought i was just probably hungry as had not eaten last night - therefore went to the shop to buy a Mars Bar (Healthy, i know) and have now just thrown the whole mars bar back up again.

Is it just wishful thinking? Can't test yet as cycle's vary from 28 days to 38 days.

HI Quackers, we've been trying for 18 months, must have spent a fortune on tests. I am so hungry, can see me putting on another 4 or 5 stone.

Jemma, what time?? I'll be here waiting. Lots of good cyber vibes to you. xx

quackers · 22/08/2003 12:10

Oh, wow Buns, how was DH/P????

naughtynoonoo · 22/08/2003 12:16

Congrats Bunny, Jemma good luck with yours, I do hope you do yours tonight!

Jemma7 · 22/08/2003 12:24

I will, don't worry - have had very stong word with myself today and told myself to stop being such a pansy and just do it - get it over and done with!

God, glad no-one came in the loo while i was in there, just realised i was actually talking to myself out aloud!

Jemma, losing your marbles is definately a sign!

Quackers, dh was in tears when I told him. The only other time I have seen him so moved was at the moment our son was born. He wasnt particularly protective during my first pg but as I had a m/c last time, he is insisting I do as little as possible this time around. He's banned me from heavy housework and doing any painting and decorating. Fine by me

Jemma7 · 22/08/2003 13:30

Ahhh bless Bunny!
That is soooo sweet!

Nice one Buns - take care of yourself. Didn't know u had a son! Sorry for misssing that! It's fab news! How old is your son?

Egypt · 22/08/2003 14:35

that is so lovely bunny. Asked what DH would say if i told him i was preg, and he said he'd reply "thank god for that". Charming. all i do is go on and on about it. he was v pleased to hear that someone else on clomid (you) had conceived, so maybe he will be for us too! i just cant imagine him being v emotional as he seems to be sick to death of me going on and on about it. is anyone out there the same? men just dont seem to talk.

quackers · 22/08/2003 14:41

Defo Egypt, I have gone on that much about levels of this and bleeding here and something else going on etc.. he just looks half interested and a bit fed up really of all the ups and downs. You're not alone!!!

Egypt · 22/08/2003 15:12

oh thank god for that. feel better now!

quackers · 22/08/2003 15:25

You're as obsessed as me and jems for that matter! Yes, don't worry, they must get so fed up with it. I'm terrible, I give detailed accounts of bleeding and ov etcc.. They can't do anything about it so I don't know why we tellthem! Should just stick to what they do best eh!Between us I think we know more than some doctors about all this stuff. My DH always laughs at me when I come away form Doc' cos I always say, it's this, it's that, why haven;t they tested that. he says I know more than them.

Jemma7 · 22/08/2003 15:33

Know how u feel - DP is desperately trying to be involved and ask all the right questions but he just does not get it!
What Ovulating?
When's that then? (We'll if i knew that we'd probably be pregnant by now)
Why do u have to check mucas? (trying to explain that one is great fun)!

Feel like just giving him a book to read sometimes but i know i'd only get 101 questions afterwards.

OP posts:
quackers · 22/08/2003 15:57

Oh gosh, no I don't get into the mucus thing, that would SO put him off, yuk. Bless them, they know so little about this huge subject!!
Jems, couldn't find your request for TM on the pgcy threads, I've put one out anyway. How are you feeling this afters??

bunny2 · 22/08/2003 16:10

Quacks, ds is 3. I have talked about him lots on eczema and food allergy threads. He is perfect, his eczema is under control and he is the best thing in the world. I so desperately want him to have a sibling, he once cuddled a knitted clown saying it was his brother, I nearly wept!

Re husbands/partners, dh was never as involved or obsessed as me. I think it is a female thing as it is our bodies that everything happens to. Also, in our case, I think dh was unwilling to get too excited because of the possible disappointment. And dont forget most men are crap at voicing feelings anyway.Seeing him cry last night made me realise that he was going through it all too.

Come on Jems what time?

quackers · 22/08/2003 16:34

Yes I agree, we're just different! I feel the same with my dd. She's 3 next week - and would adore a baby bro or sis, she makes me cry when she pulls out a little knitted top for a newborn and she says its for brothers and sisters - I have never told her this, she must have picked it up at nursery. I hope I'll be able to give her one soon. May have found a reason why I have miscarried. My LH is very strong for 2 days now almost 3. The line wass bluer than I have ever seen a blue line. Don't think it's PCO, just too much LH, will have it tested and then I'll know for sure!

bunny2 · 22/08/2003 16:38

Spending far to much time here today! My parents have taken ds out for the day and I am judt lazing around reading, watching tv and visiting Mumsnet, its brilliant.

Quacks, when is your daughter 3?

bunny2 · 22/08/2003 16:39

Sorry, forgot to add the last bit. Can you have too much lh? If so, can medication help balance it?

quackers · 22/08/2003 17:07

31st August. Yes medication will help, not had any probs b4 but the line was so strong - Egypt was fab. Will see the Doc. have to go, home time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Egypt · 22/08/2003 18:00

oh no i've missed you. do you only chat at work quackers? if so - speak mon (bank hols?) tues. Tested and the LH was still low. Can't imagine getting a positive on these clearblue things. i used cheapy internet ones in the past and they always gave me a positive cos they were so sensitive and therefore crap! they detected the lowest level of LH, too low for ov to have taken place. never had a positive on clearblue. does anyone actually get a line darker than the ref line? or just the same when its positive?

Hi Bunny, how are you feeling? still hungry? any other symptoms?????

quackers · 22/08/2003 18:08

No I'm at home Egypt now. Thought I'd see if Jems had posted but forgot, she has no pc at home. You're only day 12 still, I kmow I had several days of faint lines before a normal one, same as the guide line not stronger that I've known anyway. The only darker one has been that one the other day. Just tested again and it's still as if a surge is taking place. 48 hours now of having a surge line - not good. Looked on web for stuff on over productoin of LH, there's loads of evidence that is can cause m/c. Defo going to Doc's to ask for LH test.
Egypt - hope tommorw is better and u get your surge. I use persona sticks but haven;t been putting them in the monitor, just reading them this month. Speak later xxxx

bunny2 · 22/08/2003 18:37

Quacks and Egypt, I wish you tons of luck with this lh monitoring. I never really got the hang of the science bit but you both sound well read up on the subjct.

Yes Egypt, I'm still hungry but determined not to got OTT this time. In my first pg I ate for the sake of it, just because I could... never did shift the entire 5 stone I put on!

Cant wait for Tue for Jems news, she had better get herself down to an internet cafe.

Egypt · 23/08/2003 10:44

Hi Guys, dont know if any of you post on a Saturday -no reason not to if you're not at work i spose. Day 13 now, testing LH again this afternoon. Very Very much CM again! Never known it to be like this. Had to show DH this am just because i was so amazed. He wasnt very impressed! Def a bit twingy in the abdomen/side dept. Fingers crossed. Sorry to be graphic girls.!

Quackers, it sounds like your LH is fine, from what twiglett says. It was prob a good strong surge this cycle and is therefore still high for average readings as it goes down. Put your mind at rest at the docs though.

Thanks twiglett for the reassurance on the clearblue thing. same lines it is then.

Cant wait to hear from Jem either!
