Everyone will probably see this thread was started by me and think "Oh god, not her again".

You can tell it's getting towards that time of the month.

Anyway, on day 26 of cycle - have had a really dull tummy ache for last 2 days as if A/F is going to arrive - actually been going to the toilet to check it's that bad (Gross i know but i have to be graphic).
Woke up this morning feeling really sicky but thought i was just probably hungry as had not eaten last night - therefore went to the shop to buy a Mars Bar (Healthy, i know) and have now just thrown the whole mars bar back up again.

Is it just wishful thinking? Can't test yet as cycle's vary from 28 days to 38 days.

Does anyone know anything about finding out if you have low HCG Level's and how to boost them if you have?

Yes Jemma use in reverse, you will probably have lots of Red days to start off with until it gets use to your cycle.
When you are 1 to 2 days away from ovulation it should let you know by giving you an o sign.
I got mine on Mon and yesterday but unfortunatly I had my dye test to check my tubes are OK and had to abstain, typical!

Hi jems, I can help u with Persona, I'm good for something. Loads on here have got pg using this , me, lucieB for eg.
They are expensive so unless you are happy to buy one (incidentally it is neary £20 for OPK's, Persona is £65 inc first months sticks, you can even use it later on to prevent pg)put out a thread asking for one as they can be reset!
The idea is you will be asked for a morning urine test on day 6 after start of AF, from there Persona will decide how many red days - you'll have loads in the first month though. generally you'll get 6-8 in one month. You'll get 2 blue lines when you;re ov'g and persona will give u an O symbol (sometimes not in the 1st 3 months), then you go for it - simple as that!!!

I would say that the only sure-fire way to check HCG levels is by blood test with your GP. I don't know if boosting your levels is an option though.

Doc's say that giving HCG injections doesn't stop a pg from miscarrying and babies are delivered when HCG is low as some women have. My Doc has asked my consultant to give me HCG next time but I went on St Mary's website and it says it only prolongues a m/c that is going to happen anyway. I'm reluctant to have them. Hope someone can add something postitive on this though!!

Jemma I felt really ill before my M/c and my hormones were really low? I console myself that there may have been something wrong with the baby and keeping your hormones low is natures way of not letting an abnormal pregnancy continue.

Jemma-I don't know if you've tested yet but you have pretty much the same symptoms as I did. I had such bad period pains that I took huge amounts of asprin, and co-codamol, used a really hot water bottle, etc. I had absolutely no idea that cramps could be a sign of pregnancy. Anyway, baby due any day now, hopefully those early days didn't do too much harm.

No i haven't Egypt - am definitely going to tonight though as i feel sooooo sick!
AM on day 28 today so although it may not be the best time to test it is the day of my shortest cycle.

I've just been to the shop to buy some crisps as i felt really sick and light headed as i haven't eaten - but i'm trying to eat them now and they are making me feel worse - I wouldn't mind but it's not as if they are an obscure flavour, they are only ready salted.

I know i do this every month (think up symptoms) but the last 3 days i have felt ridiculously tired - so much so that even now at 11.20 i am yawning my head off at work (Wont go down too well if anyone see's me).

Oh, i soooo wish for this to be our month - i know it isn't as long as some people but 8 months just seems to be such a long time.

Jemma, I've just been out to buy a test but I cant bear to use it and be disappointed AGAIN. So I shall just keep looking at it till I pluck up some more courage. I was due on at the weekend and still no sign of it. Go on, do your test and I will too

You could both syncronize(sp?) PG testing on Mumsnet. But maybe we'd all explode with anticipation(sp? again)
