I'm loving being called sanguine about my bleeding given it comes from the Latin for blood Grin.

Oooo LGG has just given me just cause for menkul

downonthefarm · 14/10/2010 10:47

Hello all. I?ve had the most amazing dreams about pirates and Cap?n Jack, and I awake to find you all with straw in your hair. I likes.

Also some lovely good news. Hello & CONGRATS Milano, and anyone else I?ve missed while I was away.

Fish slaps to you all.

Truffkin · 14/10/2010 10:51

Thanks for reassurance about heavy drinking, shall be donning the party shoes and getting deeply into the spirit of things if my back holds up as am old and decrepit tomorrow. Tis always lovely to see 2 people getting wed, although this will be the seventh, (countem, SEVEN) wedding of the year and thankfully the last.

I do find myself sometimes having thoughts about ooh if I got diffed then, I'd have a baby / be very fat and pregnant / be vomming all day with MS (delete as appropriate) for that work things, so and so's wedding, party, hen nigh etc. I have thought I was a bit mental so am glad to find my self in BESH company on this one.

If this month I am diffed I'd be birthing just before a big family wedding on TGB's side and will have recently planned to leave a 10 week old babs to swan off to Magaluf for hen party shindigs. Of course a baybee doesn't actually exist at this point and I a) refuse to plan every element of my social life around an imaginary and so far elusive win and b) cannot contemplate life without swanning until it becomes a reality. I do however love the idea of me at the July wedding with perfectly beautiful tiny baybee surrounded by cooing Aunts and cousins (this is wrong right? it's NOT MY DAY)

Erm, I appeared to have verbal diarrhoea. Soz.

LadyGoneGaga · 14/10/2010 11:05

No offence was taken in first place Alpine. Confused Just sticking up for my Leonine compadres in similarly light hearted fashion I thought. It's actually great being an August baby, you (in theory) get your birthdays in the sun and are never at school during them. And it's far away from Christmas to ensure you get a proper haul of pressies.

milanomum · 14/10/2010 11:06

Aw, shucks guys

You are all, ALL welcome to come to Milan (not that it's worth seeing really, but Como's just up the road - s'much nicer). I lives in a shoebox small apartment but we could all snuggle up in king-sized bed together and send DH to the local B&B.

HB more menkulling for you - I was convinced it was the droid... and look where that's got me. I even went to the dentist and had a fucking x-ray because I was so sure Shock.

Rocket I didn't tell my mum about littlepinkfluffyone until 12 weeks. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I think it was performance pressure as she's the first grandchild.

what's all that nonsense about stupid summer baybees? Stop that imediately.

I used magic Pre-seed last month and I ate pollen. I'm sure neither has anything to do with the updiffing.

TwinkleToes76 · 14/10/2010 11:06

Horrah for Milano - congrats lady! Hope the spotting turns out to be nothing.

Come on the 2wooflers....

rocketleaf · 14/10/2010 11:26

I don't feel so bad now milano I think it is performance pressure too, as I already have two gorgeous nieces and my folks are getting on a bit, i kind of feel mine will be viewed as surplus to requirements and a bit of a nuisance really. Utterly ridiculous and probably rather uncharitable of me but there you go, I blame the hormones.

I am supposed to be specing some mens underwear (bork) and the amount of times I am having to type gusset and crotch is doing nothing for my nausea (bork, bork) :o

Headbanger · 14/10/2010 11:35

How's this for vile - my niece (23, married) is talking about trying for a baby. I may well be a great-aunt before I am a mother Shock.

rocketleaf · 14/10/2010 11:40

Eep! bangers but you are obv the baby of the family so is ok.

Thought you BESHes would love this one, when I went for my hair up on Saturday, the male hairdresser was joking about mine saying she shouldn't get herself 'into any more trouble' When I asked what that was all about it turns out she is diffed for the FOURTH time and she didn't find out until she was EIGHTEEN weeks as she wasn't trying or 'expecting' it. Gahhhhh! The fact that she didn't notice 3 missing droids is beyond me.

Headbanger · 14/10/2010 11:47

Ps don't menkul me more Milano . I am getting a fair bit of horlicks after the flash of red so suspect this is just a short cycle (erm as the BFN would indeed indicate?!).

I used pre-seed too! Tell me : how many times did you shag this month? I am becoming increasingly despairingly convinced that the ON and I just need to have A LOT of Teh Secks...

rocketleaf · 14/10/2010 12:10

oh forgot to say welcome back farmgirl where have you been? this thread is particularly appropriate for you, hope it is a winning one.

downonthefarm · 14/10/2010 12:49

Thanks leafy. We've been on holiday for a couple of weeks and a bit busy with work, that's all.
Don't think we'll have any news this side of Christmas though - DH has been away for work, and all the FC tests seem to be gauranteed to be timed so that you can't possibly win each month.

Want a roll in the hay?

Ivegotmrbitey · 14/10/2010 12:53

Truffkin that's lush and have been inspired to check out imaginary baby's social calendar he or she is going to be a busy little soul. Also had fun planning things I won't have to do if diffed including cooking christmas dinner (MS and giblet gravy are mutually exclusive I'm sure), new years eve (hate it every year but noone can judge me for staying in with hot chocolate and chick flicks if diffed) and anything to do with kiten's killing sprees (toxoplasmosis etc).

Feeling quite queasy this morning but did eat chorizo followed by fizzy cola bottles for breakfast as am working at home and can do these things!

Truffkin · 14/10/2010 13:04

Biterama I am loving the sound of your breakfast, mmm giving me thoughts of lunch. I'm on annual leave today but did some work this morning. Am now scrubbed, epilated, tanned and hair masqued in preparation for flashing my legs in a slinky short number as the wedding tomorrow.

I'm off to the shops to purchase a new shirt for TGB as his last minute try on session last night almost resulted in melt down as the one he wanted to wear tomorrow was slightly snug across the tummy area. (maybe he is magically diffed) I might not wander into Monsoon to see what lovely sparkly baubles they have that might go perfectly with my outfit

BarbiesBeaver · 14/10/2010 13:34

Belated naked jiggling for ItalianMama!

monkeechops · 14/10/2010 14:22

It's been almost a week since I was last here asking to wine or not to wine. I've lurked a bit since then but it's just so hard to keep up with you all. I haven't managed to finish reading and then respond in any sort of coherent fashion.

So, big fat boo for the bleepings that have occurred and congratulazioni (trusts google translate emoticon) to MilanoM.

I did get stuck in to a couple of bottles have a couple of glasses of red wine at the weekend. We had visitors and a jolly good weekend was had by all.

I then got a WIN on Sunday Shock I feel like an Evil Selfish Haggy queue jumper Blush, so possibly another reason for taking so long to re-post.

[displays shins for kicking]

Whenisitmyturn · 14/10/2010 14:37

Two diffs in the matter of a couple of pages - good going ladeez (and congrats!)

Bangersnmash sorry to hear 'bout the horlicks. Still (and not wanting to fuel too much menkul here), it aint over 'till it's over. I'm muchos Envy at your 25 day cycles though. I didn't even OV until day 22 (yesterday), so still have another two, flaming weeks to go!

LadyGoneGaga · 14/10/2010 14:59

Congratulations monkee, some good work going on round these parts. MAD in full swing!

Got full on pant snot today Confused, a week after ov. Will have to SWI just in case. Cried watching Toy Story with MiniG too.

Ivegotmrbitey · 14/10/2010 15:02

monkeeseemonkeedo congratulations! The cottage is clearly fertile ground

Truffkerini god of weather rules that hair free brown legs = torrential snow and ice but it's always warm and dry in the castle Wink

Ivegotmrbitey · 14/10/2010 15:25

Oooh this is interesting to those who are still without postitive OPKs but all other symptoms. Still have that wombular pain that I thought might the mitelschmirt(sp) though the EWCM is a distant memory so suppose will have to carry on SWIing. It's getting harder to muster enthusiasm and I do feel proper sick Sad

Ocarina · 14/10/2010 17:17

Congratulations Milanomumtobe and Monkee, we likes a good diffing around here.

Thanks all for reassuring me that I wasn't being completely unreasonable not wanting to have that conversation with my Mum. We get on fine, but we just don't ever talk about anything important and personal and I don't want to start now. Plus she hates being told anything and then asked not to tell anyone else, and I have no desire to have her trying hard not to tell all her friends.

I think most people have probably assumed we've put off ttc until a particular point work and life-wise has passed, but that's about to happen (as in if I get diffed from next month onwards baby would be due after that point). So I suspect the family antennae will start swivelling, waiting for an announcement. Just what I don't want, although thankfully they're mostly miles away so I don't have to deal with it in person.

Scorpette · 14/10/2010 18:17

CONGRATS! The MAD truly is proving to be bountiful Grin Have just started new PESH fred, so hop on over: HERE

PrincessBoo · 14/10/2010 18:57

Just popping my head in before I go out to yoga - Woo Hoo!!! to Monkey and MIlano.

See you all later - save some cider for me! x

kat2504 · 14/10/2010 19:26

Hello all, I would like to join the BESH club as you are all having so much fun rolling in the hay drinking cider etc. And clearly this is a luckythread too!

I am in the ridiculous twice daily opk testing stage and have got lots of nice tupperware lined up in the loo. Have gone off taking packed lunches to work recently....

After m/c in the summer, this is 2nd (well 3rd really) months attemps at babywinning baby number1 and I am hoping for a diffment at halloween! In the unusual situation of not yet living with my partner in crime, so hard to get timing right.

What does menkul and horlicks mean?
Are there any requirements for being a BESH? I am going to bribe you by contributing 5 litres of gin to the thread!

Ariesgirl · 14/10/2010 19:30

Hello kat. Pliz find and complete questionnaire which should be somewhere around. You sound as though you may well be eligible, though BESHes as a species are generally not too lucky vis a vis wins and gin, bad behaviour and foul language usually cuts it more than charting! See you later.
