DIFFMENT! Woooo!

Big congrats Milano. I hope the spotting turns out to be big fat nothing.

rocketleaf · 14/10/2010 08:14

oops, i meant it so much i posted it twice.

milanomum · 14/10/2010 08:18

Drink! I've had an entire bottle of wine over 3 days this week...
Spotting is, in fact, a bit of brauunnnn and very light so here's hoping it's nothing.

I fancied Alan Rickman in Sense and Sensibility, that bit when he hears whatsername playing the piano.

AlpinePony · 14/10/2010 08:20

The mercury has hit zero here which is fucking insane considering I got a touch of sunburn at the weekend when out riding... Shock

I moved house last year and was offloading junk redistributing literature - and gave some to a Russian colleague. So there we were stood talking about classics and in her beautiful accent (which I will always try to recreate for this topic) - I handed her two carrier bags full of clit-lit. Blush haha, she said she loved it and I did actually throw out the really bad stuff. She's a BESH - she's also done absolutely everything the hard way. Left Russia at 21 pregnant. Landed in Tel Aviv single. Left Israel at 26 pregnant. Landed in Zurich. Left Zurich pregnant (early 30s) and landed in NL. Had a baybee a couple of years ago age 42 (her, not the baybee). This was the only pregnancy for which she didn't move house and country during the latter stages of it.

I think we're due a couple of wins from this thread - there has been so much secs.

TTC conversations with mothers? What? And let them know you've been doing it ? ShockBlush When I told my folks I was pregnant the first time, I then had to retract it just a few days later - so now they know I've done it TWICE!

LadyGoneGaga · 14/10/2010 08:23

Congrats, Milano. Sounds like classic time for implantation bleeding to me so as long as it stays light and short try not to worry too much. Have fingers crossed for you!

7dpo here. Had big dip in temps yesterday which shot back up this morning. Am hoping it was an implantation dip and I want my money back if not . Also some kind of gummy, profuse and slightly stringy FJ (like Womble sealant?). Here's hoping.

How are the rest of the menkulers on this fine day?

Truffkin · 14/10/2010 08:26

Fanks guys, will be leading the conga to the bar for shooters as the BESHes have pre-told. RockyBalboa will deffo be going for implantation secs as have vey posh room in big castle. Erm, check me out.

Oh and likeMamaUsedtoMake did I mention contratulations???? Am hoping you've started another round of BESH winz.

rocketleaf · 14/10/2010 08:27

yes saw your chart lady looking very interesting :o everything crossed for you.

Ivegotmrbitey · 14/10/2010 09:45

Oooh congrats mammamiahereIgoagain

aries needles through nips sounds like a symptom but only if there are no actual needles there?

Had horible nightmare dreamt was bitten by Sydney funnel web and woke up to find tongue, face and left leg numb. Am sure this = diffed and nothing to do with the flu jab of yesterday!

Occy have similar subject skirting with my mother with added cringe of every other sentence being about how my sister's baby is the best and most beautiful baby ever. Very hard to not to shout that yes we are trying shame the baby will only be the second most amazing child on this earth!

Oooh sorry, unexpected rage there -classic PMT symptom for me Sad

Ivegotmrbitey · 14/10/2010 09:47

PS Sorry mum know you are just being proud nana really Blush

Headbanger · 14/10/2010 10:00

MORNING HAGS!

And I wake up to diffment I see Grin! CONGRATUMALATIONS Milano milady: what triffic news to kick off the day. And as has been said: no guff about turns here thanks: joy unconfined whoever gets their win!

Yay for free bookage Ox! Thanks mightily - I shall PM you in a mo! Meanwhile, I must think of something to sling your way. Tell me have you read a)I Capture the Castle or b) Fludd?

Truffkin hurrah for upcoming shagathon! However, and I really cannot state this enough, and indeed I know Cass has done so many a time lately: THIS IS BESHLAND. THE ANSWER IS ALWAYS DRINK.

Many a BESH has won after a night of frankly irresponsible boozing, and all has been well and bonny. Now put on your Spanx knickers, backcomb your hair, break out the Benetint and have a boozily good time .

LGG everything crossed for you this end!

I haz had another BFN this morning, and have started spotting. It's D21 of an average 25D cycle and I tend to start spotting 4 or 5 days before droid, so this is deffo babyfail 10. However, this month was far and away the most SCREECHINGLY stressful time I've had all year, and we only had Teh Secks twice, so I am not surprised, but looking forward to next month and a relaxed shagathon Smile.

rocketleaf · 14/10/2010 10:03

Aww cute if rather unBESHly retraction to oblivious mother there McBitey :o
I still haven't told my mum I am diffed yet, is that bad?

rocketleaf · 14/10/2010 10:06

Sozzer, HB cross post there, bad news re BFN and approacheth of droid, you seem sanguine enough tho. Roll on Halloween shag fest then. Find a fire to run naked round and have muchos sexy time. Oh wrong pagan festival but never mind, any excuse for naked running round eh?

Ariesgirl · 14/10/2010 10:17

Milano of course no one hates you. You seem very nice and everything Grin. It's about time there was a BFP on this thread - I think you are the first. Well done old mucker.

HB I have never used the word sanguine before, but it's you! Next month, next month.

MrA and I have decided that if this time isn't our month, then we'll have to wait until January before resuming SWI. Having a baby in August or September would be too bonkers for us and would send us running to the divorce courts over the edge. The height of the summer is hard enough anyway. So it's sensible really.

OP posts:
Ariesgirl · 14/10/2010 10:18

Sorry rocket, clearly I pinched the word sanguine from you.

OP posts:
Medee · 14/10/2010 10:18

Congrats, Milano!

Headbanger · 14/10/2010 10:18

I hate you, Milano, because I've deduced, I think correctly, that you live in Milan Grin Envy.

Aries in typing out those words you have absolutely guaranteed that you will diff next month exactly in time to make next Aug. a time of insanity. I'm sorry luvva, but that's how the BESHmajick works ....

rocketleaf · 14/10/2010 10:20

great minds rierie fyi your SWI break sounds like the perfect way to get accidentally diffed Wink

rocketleaf · 14/10/2010 10:21

milano you would go a long way to ameliorating our hatred by offering an open invite to your house for a sunny BESHmeet? :o

AlpinePony · 14/10/2010 10:24

Aries, as banger says - it's a guaranteed diff. We were all bitching this time last year about having summer babies being the youngest in the class, the weediest/dimmest etc. What did we all win? Yep, July/August baybees! Wink

Anyway - have told you before - a baybee in a sling would be a fabulous marketing tool... [touristpredator]

Ariesgirl · 14/10/2010 10:29

But laydeez, we will Take Precautions.

So how about it milano. Could you handle many BESHes descending on your home? If not, why not. We could go to La Scala, the cathedral, many bars obviously, and also I believe Milan is just within a day trip of the Milky Way. Or is that Turin?

My faith in humanity has been restored a little, in their staying power and endurance and technical wizardry. Hurrah for the Chilean miners!

Ariesgirl · 14/10/2010 10:37

Didn't see that bit I must say. I haven't been watching it full time.

If I was down a mine for that long though I think I would succumb to despair. The whole operation was very clever. I shall continue to be feeling optimistic today.

OP posts:
LadyGoneGaga · 14/10/2010 10:37

Rie they're prob easier in first couple of months than later as they will just sleep happily in a sling while you do stuff, esp if you get knack of BF in a sling.

Anyway, Pony, I'm an August baby and was neither weedy nor dim . Being pg in height of summer is another thing though I imagine. MiniG was born late May and I sooo struggled in the few really hot May days we had. But I had cankles from about 20 weeks.

HB could well be an implantation bleed so not over yet. But well done on the sanguinity (is that a word?)

AlpinePony · 14/10/2010 10:40

I'm sorry you've taken offence ladyg to what was quite clearly a joke.

Ivegotmrbitey · 14/10/2010 10:41

Thanks rocket that'll be the trapezoid mood swinging!

HB sorry that the word sanguine has been overused but as am numbers lady have no alternatives to offer to describe you! Will be coming to fawkes night display near you for the naked dancing Grin

If we don't go to Milan I hear Cornwall is flablass in August?
