Hello Violet!

Did she start young? If I were to have five and had 18 months to three years between them, I will be 43/44 by the time I'm finished. Were any of them twins?

Was this in RL or on here HB?

On MN, 12pt. I didn't ask when she started, but I imagine fairly young. If she finds this we can ask her!

Ariesgirl · 13/10/2010 13:46

Sorry I'm still reeling at the thought of ever being 44. It's wrong on all levels :(

Ivegotmrbitey · 13/10/2010 13:47

That is a nice story HB thank you!

I have been pootling about on other threads because my work today is too hard and I can't think properly I came across this thread, the links are hilarious so thought I would share it with other BESHs

Ariesgirl · 13/10/2010 13:51

You've got the hang of strike throughs then Bitey. That must have taken a while!

Ariesgirl · 13/10/2010 13:55

The post that is, not the getting the hang of it

Oh I ain't bothered by the forties. My best pal (if we discount my other best pal, which we probably shouldn't) is a 50 year old man. And another good pal is 40 this year and doesn't, to my mind, look any older than me. Doesn't bloody act it that's for sure . And I have a 43 year old sister, and a 42 year old sister, and another about to turn 40. And I was pretty much born aged 52 anyway, so...

Ariesgirl · 13/10/2010 14:00

But inside I still feel about 11!

Headbanger · 13/10/2010 14:04

ah, well, I was spoken to a woman who is a barrister in serious sex crimes the other day. And she said she puts on her wig and stands in front of the judge etc. etc. and all the while is thinking "There is no WAY I am old enough to be doing this! Surely someone is going to notice I'm not proper!".

So I reckon that that's pretty much par for the course...

Headbanger · 13/10/2010 14:05

spoken SPEAKING! twat.

Ariesgirl · 13/10/2010 14:05

Very troooo. I used to feel like that when I was teaching Year 6. "Why are you calling me Miss? I'm one of you!"

Thanks anserinelady, I was quite proud too! Have got a sore finger from all the clicking and hyphenating, do you think that's a symptom?

Ariesgirl · 13/10/2010 14:24

Oh definitely! I have a sore patch on the skin of my left boob. Is that a symptom?

OP posts:
Ivegotmrbitey · 13/10/2010 14:49

Yes for sure!

BarbiesBeaver · 13/10/2010 15:35

Let me see Aries and I'll let you know

Salty I'll come and join you in the old ladies with cats club if I may. I'll dress mine in the huge stash of babygrows under my bed and wheel them around in the latest bugaboo contraption.

BarbiesBeaver · 13/10/2010 15:42

Hey Cass want to revise the biomechanics of my pelvis

Ivegotmrbitey · 13/10/2010 15:48

Phnaar phnaarrr Wink

PerfectDromedary · 13/10/2010 16:27

BrownB If only you'd asked! I had to bin my copy of The Fertility Diet because it annoyed me so much. Fucking Himalayan salts and no caffeine and being a vegan - and in the end, it turns out it's written by someone who isn't even trying to conceive because she hasn't met Mr Right (her words, not mine), so none of it has any foundation in personal experience. It was too woo even for me, and I rattled with supplements of various kinds AND did the needling.

cincotart · 13/10/2010 16:30

Another member for the cat ladies club here, less of the old though, ta. I've found our club t-shirt Grin

cincotart · 13/10/2010 16:31

er...do you actually have to have a cat though? I have a habit of losing custody of mine.

BarbiesBeaver · 13/10/2010 16:35

Of course I have one. It's short fat and has a bad attitude. Sign me up for the t shirt please.

Camel I hope you threw it away violently and stamped on it.

Ariesgirl · 13/10/2010 16:44

All the best people have cats. FACT.

OP posts:
cincotart · 13/10/2010 16:45

I've had 6 cats in the last 13 years...

Mathilde (very sadly run over), Leon, Stanley Hobbes and Kasia all with ex husband.

Paddy - with ex boyfriend

Maggie & George - both left home when stroppy teenagers to live with families down the street who possibly fed them whiskas and let them claw the sofas to bits. George still likes to pay us a visit every now and then which is very sweet.

So on that basis, plus lack of baybee win, I reckon I qualify.

I have tried catching up but failed miserably so if I haz ignored you I iz sorry.

PerfectDromedary · 13/10/2010 16:45

Barbie I put it next to Ben Goldacre to see if it would cause a rift in the space-time continum, but nada...I think I may have tried to rip it like the phone directory.

BarbiesBeaver · 13/10/2010 16:56

Ooooo were your muscles bulging like Charles Atlas Camel . I think I chewed up that dreadful book "The Beach" one day in a particularlt violent fit of PMT. It felt great.
