Following visit to the needle woman I am now taking: Folic acid, Pregnancy multi vit, Evening primrose oil in run up to ov, Magnesium, iron, Omega 3 and 6 capsules (6 of the blighters a day!). Plus my usual Thyroxine. Am rattling I tell thee. I have also been instructed to eat avocadoes, seeds and nuts (because I can't stand eating fish that swim), flax and various nut oils on salads etc. And I may start off on the aspirin too. Plus no caffeine and booze and drinking loads of water.

Honestly Bangers I'm ok, I knew it would be negative. It's just my cycle fucking about as this month I did all my injections which has clearly sent it all haywire, so I probably haven't even ovulated. Just the sore boobs were naggin at me a bit.

Yes, FC is at end of November, but I'm not feeling very hopeful really. Apparently other ladies with such poor AMH results as mine are virtually premenopausal, and even if I do IVF I may not respond very well and get many eggs to do anything with.

Two friends have very kindly offered their eggs to me, as donor eggs may be my last resort. Just trying to get Plans A, B, C etc into action so if one thing fails I have a back up and so on. I'm struggling with the idea of donor eggs too - I want my own biological child, that is a mix of mine and Mr B's DNA if you see what I mean. All this is reading as very pesimistic, but I honestly don't feel too bad, and I would rather be realistic about my chances to save further heartache.

Anyway, trying not to think too much about TTC in the meantime, and have started taking my DHEA, which has shown some surprising results so miracles might happen eh? Other BESH's have managed it so maybe I can too.

LGG - I had my third needles session last night. She's very nice and re-assuring - I looked like a hedgehog around my middle area which was amusing. I'm also taking various bits of stuff to try and help. Mr O keeps complaining about all the things he has too - his latest one is Garlic Oil (it was recommended for him in the bumpf we got through from the FC). He keeps on whining about how it's making him have garlic breath . I take EPO between droid and OV, drink grapefruit juice, no caffeine/alcohol, multivit, brazil nuts, pumpkin seeds. Actually writing all these down is making me feel like a loon . I'm glad others out there are as obsessive dedicated as I am!!!

Bangers how much longer have you got on the PhD? I take you're doing it P/T? If so, I take my hat off to you. I also did it P/T and it was pure hell. Hope you're nearly finished and can enjoy using it as a doorstop the fruits of your labour.

It is utterly wonderful of your pals to offer to donate eggs- you must be very loved! - but I completely see how the desire for one's own biological child is very strong. However those are plans S, T & U of course - I will remain robustly hopeful for plans A & B!

DrWhenIsIt, I am actually doing it F/T. With a job 3 days a week in legal stuff, and another job doing freelance journalism. Hence why I am a) half-dead much of the time, b) almost certainly too stressed to conceive, and c) prone to miniature melt-downs.
