Evening hags- you know when you have an all over tired feeling cos you've done nice things and been a bit energetic and gazed at the stunning English landscape all day- I've got that I have Smile

salad sorry about Mr Bomb's crap night- hope friend doing ok today. yoof, scum etc. I want to live in New Zealand with my sis- it's like going back in time to the seventies of our childhood (though they do seem to spend an inordinately large amount of time exercising)

gagaggingatcraptv and mountthearialandswitchitoff no, you really don't have to worry from my corner- I viewed, I suffered, I won't be going back there again (thank heavens I Sky+ed the Important documentary on BBC3 so I'll have something to watch next saturday) PS mount nice to see you,I'll take an absinthe thank, and here's green fairy Kylie back,do with her what you will.

Just watched David Tennant in Single Father- is it pushing it to wonder if booing at man crying cos his wife died is a symptom? In other ooofling news (No typo- I didn't lay an egg til day 20 at earliest, am in semi-denial about fact that only gives me projected LP of 10 days ergo diffment unlikely)(I normally ov about CD16, but seems clock not properly reset since MC- am feeling aggreived after being promised instadiff by the universe, thought you were more fertile after, not all mucked about) I have No Symptoms. Therefore am diffed because you don't get any symptoms do you?
Sorry for waffling bout my ooofling (confused)(say this out loud, it's cheery.

starnosemole · 10/10/2010 22:21

It should be owoofling shouldn't it. Doh.

LadyGoneGaga · 10/10/2010 22:34

But if you ovved late, Moley, why won't you just have a longer cycle my dear?

AlpinePony · 11/10/2010 07:38

milano I feel the same way as you. Confused The UK has changed so much since I left (99) - it's a different world to me now. The people speak my language (ish - everyone seems to speak Estuary... ) but the attitude is frightening and I didn't used to be a wimp. I have been absolutely slated for saying so in the past though so I'm glad there's someone else out there in Euroland feels it too. :) We do of course get yoofs hanging around outside the shopping centre with their hoodies - but it's all a bit more "Can I carry your shopping for you missus pa'usson?". Mind you, I live in the provinces and I gather Rotterdam is quite another kettle of fish!

You lot are drowning in spunk.

Well the droid finally arrived late last night - which is good but we had a couple of nervy days wondering if my uterus could put up with the strain. Had to let jailbait know that he didn't in fact have superspunk after all. Grin

starnose As LadyG says, it should just mean your cycle is a little longer this month - and if it weren't - a 10 day LP is still fine. I went to my doctor when I was TTC (you know, to get on "the list") and she reckoned my 12 day LP was absolutely fine - and that it only really became an issue when your ENTIRE cycle was 12 days for example.

Casserole · 11/10/2010 09:32

Starryeyedsurprise I generally OVed day 18/28. And, well, it worked for me (in the end!) So all iz not lost. Not by any means Grin

As you were.

Headbanger · 11/10/2010 10:25

Morning hags. I was working till half one and my eyes feel like they've been sanded Sad. Must...summon....energy...for...gym...

At approx midnight I decided 7DPO was ample time to get a BFP and distracted myself by POAS Grin Blush. Then I did it again this morning Blush [blush Blush. BFNs, clearly.

Starry, what LG and Alpine said, basically. They iz wise wimminz. My OVing can vary by about 3 days but the late ones just give longer cycles. ie I average a 25 day cycle. Last week I OVed late and had a 28 day cycle.

Does anyone have any whizz coffee?

Truffkin · 11/10/2010 10:59

So I'm in a proper grump this morning and thought I would come and grump on here. I've made it into work for the first time in a week and clearly my 'miracle recovery' (TM) was not sucha miracle as 90 minutes of bus and tube ishoos have left me in pain again. Boo hiss. Am mainlining drucks though so let's hope it is quickly quelled.

The main reason for my grump though started before I got out of bed. I was fairly certain I laid an egg yesterday and after SWIing Friday, Saturday, Sunday I was feeling like we'd tried our best this month (gold star for us, thanx). This morning though my bloody temp has dropped Shock which I was really not expecting. Any ideas on this one BESHies? Am I actually the owner of one seriously freaked out reproductive system or is this just a blip?

The reason I thought I had OVed was due to EWCM Saturday and yesterday then something I thought was OV pains yesterday (have never concentrated enough to notice before, but it was a stabby feeling (not bad enough to be called pains) just blow and to the left of my belly button) Aaargh.

Rant over, please resume usual MNing

Truffkin · 11/10/2010 11:01

Sorry Head cross posted (mine sat on my screen for a while whilst I had to have a work conversation Angry bah)

I have just been for coffee and will be happy to share this selection of espresso and latte with you. I may, also, possibly have purchased pain au choc - I'll hand them round.

AlpinePony · 11/10/2010 11:22

truffkin You could ask in the PESH/FESH for curly - she's really clued up with temping & charting. :)

banger have this line of babydust m'dear. POAS at 7 days? Hmm Wink Oh my.

cinco That's double shit. I'm sorry. :( Do you know why they went for the IUI first? (Presumably cost saving) It's just that unless you're not sure where your foo-foo is... um, haven't you already been placing the white goods in the appropriate receptacle? Confused

Ocarina · 11/10/2010 11:38

Truff I think I'm joining you on the confused reproductive system - I've been trying to be good and chart cervix as well as temps and the 2 are entirely contradicting each other Confused. FF reckons it can't pinpoint ovulation but it could be anywhere between CD 9 and 16, which is helpful.... Mind you, I'm now CD18 and often don't ov till 18 or 20 so who knows.

I think we've managed enough SWI to cover it whenever, but it now means I have no idea when I should be menkulling about droid. And I keep getting lower back achy pains that usually signal the beeping getting close, but it's surely way too early. Gah.

So that didn't help you at all with your wonky cycle, but be reassured you're not the only one.

Bangersandmash I think you're working too hard and it's gone to your head - 7DPO indeed! Here, have some gin.

And Jumpingelf it's most excellent to see you. Have you been working too hard too?

LadyGoneGaga · 11/10/2010 11:46

Truff it takes some wimminz bit longer for their bodies to react to the progesterone starting to be released and there temps to go up. you may find it goes up tomoz. Are you on FF? Can you share your chart? Mine only went up a little bit first day post-ov, then shot up next day. Or you might actually ov today or tomorrow. Often your EW has dried up by time eggy apears due to dropping levels of Oestrogen.

OccyOccyOccy plz to share your chart too.

BarbiesBeaver · 11/10/2010 12:01

On the temping front - alcohol can disrupt your temps too, don't know if that might be a factor?

So sorry cinco on the shiteness. How many goes of IVF do you get on the NHS? Have some opiate laced brownie to numb the pain.

ClamberOnTinkerbelle I am indeed your FC buddy. Can we hold hands? I think I go a couple of days before you. I've been preparing a list of reasons why I am worthy to receive NHS help, and will pop some boxing gloves/baseball bat in my handbag, just in case the bloke says no.

A punch in the ribs to all (Queensbury Rules) except Salty who is still suffering extreme droiding. You can snuggle up under this here nice tartan blanket.

Oh and please offer up violence in return. I am WOOFLing hah! I know it's just my cycle dicking about after the stupid drugs earlier, but droid is now 11 days late and my boobs hurt. I know I won't be pregnant but still doesn't stop your brain wondering "what if".

BarbiesBeaver · 11/10/2010 12:02

PS. I liked all the late night chat/GU clinic details. Was very amusing to read on a dull Monday morning.

Ivegotmrbitey · 11/10/2010 12:22

Am also confused, eggwhite tastic but never got the second line on the LH strips. Tend to believe the eggwhite more but am now going to have obssessively test wee until I get that second stripe and then reccommence SWIing! However the droid ALWAYS appears on the apponted day so at least I know that much. Felt extremely queasy all morning convinvced myself it was morning sickness but then Dr Google laughed at my ignorance and it is clearly still a hangover.

Ivegotmrbitey · 11/10/2010 12:36

PS please can sosmeone remind me what DPO stands for? Days past ovulation maybe? Droid popping off? Droid piddling overdue? Confused

LadyGoneGaga · 11/10/2010 12:38

Yes, days past ov. Are you still eggwhiting or has now gone?

Truffkin · 11/10/2010 12:50

www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/index.php?interface=0

I think I've linked to my FF chart above, although I've only been temping for this current cycle so there's not much info on there. I might go back in and add information about when I'd drank alcohol the night before to see if it makes a difference (or maybe not, as I like to pretend I'm a moderate drinker Hmm )

LadyGoneGaga · 11/10/2010 12:58

No, Truff. that not it. Link needs to look more like [[http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2fee7f
]]. Go to Sharing/Home page set up and tehre will be a link there. You need to tell it to publish your charts I think.

Ocarina · 11/10/2010 13:05

OK, does this work?

PollyPoo · 11/10/2010 13:18

Truffles I used to get big temp drop on day before Ov, so you may find it jumps up tomorrow. I'd also get a drop around 2 or 3 DPO, but then it would go up again. If it helps you can look at my charts. I charted for 6 months I think before I got duffed. I also had the much fabled tri-phasic chart the month that I caught, which was my first indication... and sent me into menkulling overdrive. Blush [http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2b93a5 Poo charts]]

Cinco Sad for the shiteness. Are you still seeing the needling lady?

Nice to you menkulling fully HB. Wink

LadyGoneGaga · 11/10/2010 13:19

You've got no cm data in there Oc - what is that doing? That's prob the primary sign used for charting, just use CP as a secondary sign. Def looks like a biphasic chart - what happens if you put a high temp in tomorrow? do the cross hairs come? (I often do this to see what happens!)

PollyPoo · 11/10/2010 13:22

Sorry, correction - big temp drop on day of akshul ovulation, followed by big jump on 1DPO.

Whenisitmyturn · 11/10/2010 13:27

Hi peeps, just a quickie from me Wink as I've got a busy afternoon and need to prepare.

Sorry about all the crap over the weekend - sounds like a lot went on.

Good to see so many charters! Will have a proper look tomorrow if work permits!!!

Cinco - waves, good to see you

BB and Mountie - am off to see the wizard FC on 2nd Nov, so kind of FC buddies. Will be our first appt, so am feeling a bit nervous now!

Am hopefully laying an egg today/tomorrow, so can join in the Woofling soon enough.

Ivegotmrbitey · 11/10/2010 13:35

Thanks ladygeegee still eggwhitey. Very confused did we start too early on the SWI? just based it on the ovulation predictor calculator on here. But if the idea is to get the swimmers in situ before egg laying then that would be OK? >Suddenly had strong image of innards full of swimmers, feel bit light headed, lloks around for absinthe
