I know this is early but are we going to have an MN Christmas Appeal this year?

Just thought I would ask as the last one was launched on 1st Oct last year.

I suppose I am saying that if no-one more competent and organised than me comes forward, I am prepared to do it. But would like to speak to Soapbox, LL or StG for pointers before launch iyswim.

I find myself quite time rich over the next few weeks while my security clearance is processed for my new job.

So Wadda we think?

I know Moldies was upsetting, but I really can't understand why it would affect the Christmas appeal.

Around 150 MNetters left to go to Moldies (some had already left in the months preceeding) - there are thousands of us left here!

And I can't believe that it was only the nice, generous or charitables ones who went!

I reread a book called Grass by Sherry Teplar rececntly that had a "faction" in it called the Mouldies

They were trying to spread a plague to wipe out the human race. Ho hum

At least our mouldies are benign by comparison
