Tescos online shopping for Christmas week

Does anyone know what date/time the delivery slots will be out for Christmas eve online shopping? Thanks!

i totally agree with you procrastinatingparent! I do ALL shopping in Tescos and have their credit card and other things with them! (joins you in huff but won't stand too close as I have a streaming cold!)

Bollocks. they cancelled mine too.
If I don't get a delivery slot I will actually shop at Sainbury's though as that is the closest supermarket for me. They may just have lost my Christmas custom.

hmm inverness is known as "tesco town" maybe they feel they don't need to make special offers for us highlanders

Well, they called me two minutes ago and said they had cancelled it. I said why.. etc. (all very nice) and asked if they could not move the date the very nice helpful lady did that straight away and I now have to stay up until 12.01 like the rest of the world

What a shame some of you had it cancelled altogether, I did get the impression they were trying to weed out the ring leaders as it were!

Phone call here too but left message so I couldn't use any powers of persuasion. Haven't checked to see if order is cancelled or moved yet.

well, if I had had the guts to have answered the phone when they called, maybe they would have just changed the slot

Oh well, we are no worse off htan before - when it comes to rebooking you can just open up your order and add all the items to your basket so it shouldn't take too long hopefully!

The sods have cancelled it completely. Have to start again now.

Have just checked my mum's Tesco account. They have cancelled hers completely too.

Did try to re-book and it did look as though it would take the order again.

If we were all to do it again, do you think we would be banned from Tesco ?

perhaps we could keep them under attack - go at them in waves until they give in?

what bugs me is that I waited up for the slots to appear last year and as soon as they did, the last day before Christmas was already booked so some people must be getting these slots.

Just checked tesco and my booking is still up there for the 23rd but I'm not holding my breath!

I suppose it must be these lucky gits people who are getting priority booking. If they did the same last year that would explain why they were booked even before they were officially available!

mines been cancelled too got to rebook on the 30th if i want to place another order wtih them for the same date. arse.

I wonder what would happen if we tried the same trick, i.e. changing the week of the slot, on 29th or 30th Nov?

I'm a bit worried about the space/time continuum now. I'm not going to mess around with manipulating dates again....

Fingers crossed still - my slot is still there and I have been in and added some stuff to it.

My delivery slot for 22nd is ok, I have had a letter saying I could book it today. My mothers slot I booked for the 19th has been cancelled, no phone call, as has her slot on 27th Dec.

Booked my christmas slot following fruitful advice and changed the week to 4 as advised and was sooo delighted with myself !! - had a phonecall from Tesco tonight to cancel my order as the slot is not "available" yet and I also felt like a naughty schoolgirl Thought we had beaten the Tesco system !!

I got a call too.Very sad.

I got a call today too - my slot for 23rd now cancelled.

Mine is still showing online, no phone call. And I've got a thing on the tesco homepage that says I can book for the 23rd from tomorrow anyway,so, perhaps they're not bothering to cancel? Although I booked one for NY too ...
