tues 25th nov-mon 22nd dec

weds 26th nov-tues 23rd dec

dizzydixies · 25/11/2008 09:44

ooohhh hark at you hottotrot do you know someone on the inside!?!?

hottotrot · 25/11/2008 09:55

Dizzydixes-don't know anyone on the inside, maybe I wil get a phone call yet as well.

Just checked the letter and it said claim your free finest camembert, simply click on the banner on the homepage.

It is saying out of stock, typical, not that valued a customer then.

dizzydixies · 25/11/2008 09:58

lol, I bet if you didn't want camembert before you DO now

TheOtherMaryPoppinsFleckles · 25/11/2008 10:02

ah so by the time us non priority bods get to booking there'll be nowt left

midnightexpress · 25/11/2008 10:02

Dear me. I do not understand why people get their knickers in such a twist over Christmas dinner. It's only a flippin roast.

Booking a delivery umpteen weeks before Christmas and fretting about whether your cranberry sauce will turn up. Get a grip.

NCbirdy · 25/11/2008 10:14

ME, go away, we are quite happy getting our knickers in knots thank you. If you don't want to fine DON'T.

Anyway, back to all that light hearted fun knicker twisting...

judgenutmeg · 25/11/2008 10:21

Can I get off the naughty step now?

TheOtherMaryPoppinsFleckles · 25/11/2008 10:24

I'm never happy unless I have something to stress about :p can't get more stressful than Xmas lunch can you?!

NCbirdy · 25/11/2008 10:28

Judge, you are still in my good books for now, my order is still hanging in there - but I expect a call as I don't appear to be a priority customer

Do you want your sentences to run concurrently? Do you have any good behaviour you would like taken into account?

TOMPF, exactly, part of the fun of Christmas is all the anticipation and build up, will the turkey be dry... will the turkey arrive...

TheOtherMaryPoppinsFleckles · 25/11/2008 10:44

NCbirdy, I dont' get as far as will the turkey be dry, more a case of will the turkey still be frozen solid

futurity · 25/11/2008 10:45

so am i really going to have to stay up late on 30/11 to get the slot I want?

blossomsmine · 25/11/2008 11:46

Damn!!! Got a call about 5 minutes ago cancelling my delivery The lady wasn't at all helpful, probably bored to death with all the calls she is having to make.

shoptilidrop · 25/11/2008 11:51

i just got my wrists slapped too. My slot is now cancelled - oh well.

bellavita · 25/11/2008 12:05

No phonecall here yet... but I have just received the card through the door for the priority slots - so have booked for the Monday just in case my Tuesday one disappears.

Fingers crossed.

Flier · 25/11/2008 12:13

oh well, just had my phonecall - not ,oved to another date though - they cancelled it

Flier · 25/11/2008 12:13

moved even

panni · 25/11/2008 12:15

I just had the phone call too!

onager · 25/11/2008 12:17

It looks as though those already singled out for priority slots (they must have been planning this already) will not get a phone call as they are entitled now anyway.

I don't know if the extra week appears before you click on the free gift (on the page you are taken to when you log on) or if clicking on that activates it.

I don't know how they pick people for this priority shopping. I've been a customer for a while, but never a big spender

clayre · 25/11/2008 12:20

i've stillnot had a fonecall althou i have had the letter about the priority slots and the free cheese [boak] but when i logged on to do my shopping they are ofering free mince pies [yum]

Flier · 25/11/2008 12:21

where are the free ince pies? I can't see that on my homepage

clayre · 25/11/2008 12:25

on the right hand side of the homepage beside the list of items that are in your basket, it says click here to claim your free gift!

where about in scotland are you flier?

Flier · 25/11/2008 12:31

i'm north of inverness. still no mince pies on my home page

BONKERZ · 25/11/2008 12:35

my free gift was belgium chocs!!! Order still same dates so fingers crossed.
Its alot easier for me to have delivery for christmas as DS has ASD and going to supermarket ANYTIME is a nono let alone 2 days before xmas!!!! DH working right up till xmas eve (finishes at 7pm) and DS home from 17th Dec!

procrastinatingparent · 25/11/2008 12:37

How much do you have to spend in that place before you become a customer with priority booking and flipping free cheese?!! Tesco gets the vast majority of my food shopping pounds - and the rest - and not a sniff of Camenbert in the procrastinating household. And more to the point, no priority Christmas slot booking.
