Tescos online shopping for Christmas week

Does anyone know what date/time the delivery slots will be out for Christmas eve online shopping? Thanks!

I've just booked mine for 23rd.
Extra fab for me cos Dh Hates Crowds. If we had to enter a supermarket that close to Xmas, there may be an Incident. (He has been known to 'accidently nudge' doddering old ladies with trolley )

can anyone expoain to this dummy trying to book a slot

when you are on the booking bit, look at the top in your browser (the bit where all the www. stuff is) and you will see week2 in amongst the gobbledigook, change that to 4 (i think), hit enter and hey presto you have options for xmas / new year!

Do you think I could also book next years whilst I'm at it? Week 56!

Go onto tesco
do NOT book a delivery slot
stick something in your basket
checkout
it will bring up the "choose a delivery slot" page now
click forward one week
look at the address bar - it says "www.tesco etc blah blah and then week=2 or something like that. Change the week number to 4
you should now see a page that you can't normally get to
choose your slot
carry on as normal

ah the problem is the www. scroll bar tool bar thingy has gone missing
how can I get that back

wow, this is awesome - just booked my slot! I always wondered why nearly all the xmas slots were already taken the second they are released.. .

Have just called my mum who is in the States at the moment to tell her I have booked her a delivery slot for xmas. She is delighted!

Extra brownie points for her dd2 (i.e. me). Might get an extra pair of jeans from them now, lol.

Just be warned ... last year I ordered all my shopping to be delivered on 23rd for my son's birthday - the party was being delivered as well (pizzas, etc!). Tesco's rang to say the whole system had crashed and they couldn't do it. At this point they really came through for me, as I told them it was my son's birthday, I had 6 kids in the house, too many to get to the heaving supermarket, and that I couldn't leave them or my youngest, who had just been diagnosed with diabetes. They turned up an hour later with the food and the driver gave my son a pound for his birthday. Well done TEsco's, but if it hadn't have been such special circumstances I'd have been stuffed.

lol i just tried sainsbos but no joy, will just have to wait til they come free on 1st dec.

May try it this year but was burnt a few years ago by Sainsburys. Had all shopping for Christmas deliveredon 23rd. Lots of things (eg clotted cream for pud) were Use By 24/12. Grrr!

I think I will just go instore, I will go after one of my late shifts about 1am so it is quiet. Love shopping at that time of night with my headphoes on .
