All of our ornaments have a story which I love.

Some others would consider ugly but they’re meaningful to us.

My skiing avocado wins ugliest on our tree and was bought for me by my DD. Because I’m keto (eat a lot of avocado) and love skiing

I have this lovely angel on my tree, which what looks like a Christmas tree balanced on his rather large appendage! Absolutely no idea what it’s actually supposed to be!

I had no idea that Jesus had Cholera! He truly was a trooper!

He’s no penicorn but may I present Dodo Santa (yes that’s a key ring that he’s hanging on). We buy a Christmas decoration everywhere we travel and sometimes, like Mauritius in June, they’re hard to find. Not seen because toddler DS pulled him off the tree and hid him earlier, fabric sardine keyring from Portugal.

This is the best thread. Absolutely love everyone’s baubles! So joyful. I have some crackers, will take pics tomorrow.

I love the juxtaposition of Her late Majesty in full regalia and this snowman. And the flags of course.

We don't have our tree up yet, it's all still in the loft (me being really tardy this time round) but I don't think I can compete with these joyous ornaments.

Santa on a goose, strangely, from Amsterdam about 25 years ago is my favourite. Santa showing his bum is DS13's favourite since he was about 6.
