I know there’s a long standing Christmas bargains thread, but I thought it might be worth starting a thread for people who want to support small businesses this Christmas?

Not only are they a bit cheaper in many areas but our support probably means far more to them than it does to Amazon etc. So, this is a thread for those of us who want to help small businesses grow and, perhaps, pick up a bargain along the way!

So, as someone who will only be buying from Small Businesses this Christmas - hit me with your best buys. And, tell the rest of us what you really want (perfumes, candles, paintings, slippers etc) and let’s see who we can support this Christmas 🌟

This is a lovely thread/idea. I try to order through our local indie bookshop rather than Amazon and other local places as the money means so much more to them and I want them to keep going! I can also recommend: Rambsbottom Soap Company for whipped soaps and lovely soap sponges. Not the fanciest packaging for the smaller whipped soaps but they have cute mini hampers and the quality is superb.

The smell on these candles from coast and country are divine and strong without being over powerful, superior to anything I've tried before.

This company provides a variety of works from full kitchens and bathrooms to small functional craft/art pieces and each project is just exquisite.

Hi lovely mn’s another ask from me I’m afraid, has anyone seen this ridiculous pink fox for any cheaper? Simple Guide to Fishing - this is a fantastic book for a young fisherman/woman. It’s written by a fishing YouTuber (excellent and non sweary!) called Carl (“FishwithCarl”) it’s one of the very few books both my teenagers have read and re read.
I would wholeheartedly recommend for anyone who is starting to get into any kind of fishing - we’ve gifted it to quite a few of the boys friends at 10-13
