I think I always (or nearly always!) call the one with Black Friday this name. I'm assuming this thread will see us through the weekend and I'm not premature!!! Make sure you keep your Black Friday bargains genuine bargains - not everything that looks reduced actually is as good a deal as it looks.

It took at least 4 weeks until I received my order, I got a notification after about two weeks and then nothing until it arrived one day.

I need to buy gifts for 50 women in poverty from a charity so trying to spend about £5 each.

They're all mums of young babies.

We wrap the gifts and label them from their baby to be opened Christmas morning.

Argh I just paid 32 for this set on Amazon. Good spot Mrs Gnome. I think it's only the ones that have 30% sticker.

I also bought for Christmas after it was posted on here, and the advice on this thread was to set it up beforehand. It’s not very time consuming (assuming good internet), but takes a bit of time. I’ve also added our family members and ages.

The plus side of this was that yesterday (and I guess today?) the add ons were half price and I bought 4 other question sets (where in the world 1&2, who said that and one other) for less than £4.

I get a monthly Glossybox and generally really like it, however my experience of the special offer ones isn’t good. I’ve tried twice and had weird make up no one would use eg. Purple lipsticks and unusual colours. I might have just been unlucky.

I’d say go for chocolate, fluffy socks for a couple of quid in Primark, face mask from B&M / Home Bargains (3 for 2 or 2 for £1), maybe a nail files and varnish or hand cream or shower gel from one of the shops above and put it all in a bag or box they can reuse ?

You can usually get that deal in store at Next if that helps.

I’ve seen Roka bags mentioned a few times on this thread - are they good bags? A good idea for a 25 year old? Although I would imagine anything would be better than the bag she’s using at the moment, which is my son’s old school bag. He’s 29…
