Have we got a stocking filler for teenage boys thread yet?

I have two - 14 and 18

Apart from socks and smellies, unusual Korean noodles and sweets have gone down well in previous years, but I am really running out of ideas!

Sweeties-wise, apart from the obligatory chocolate coins, I buy large quantities of ds1's favourite peppermint creams (like the old Clarnico ones that are no longer available) and ds2's favourite Jelly Belly beans and decant them into special jars.

They get jammed in precariously at the top of the stocking and are greatly looked-forward to every year.

Fluxx is a good game (some versions are better than others) if they have outgrown top trumps, though best with 3 or more players.

I have also got DS a load of stuff in the sale from Craftd (sort of costume jewellery for young men) although he will be clapping eyes on it before christmas to decide how much he wants to keep.

Also popcorn and assorted toppings to make over Christmas.

And I will get him a frame for his GCSE certificates.

And some sheet music he wants

And some stuff for his Switch.

And a pair of trainers.

My sister asked me today what to get ds, I've suggested an electric bike pump, will be handy for his footballs too.

DS has previously loved:

World's smallest magic 8 ball (Amazon, other things also available)

Spoon with Cereal Killer stamped on the handle (Etsy, used every day)

I hear the idea is that your feet slip less in your boots so you play better 🤷‍♀️ but no doubt makes little difference, and even if it makes a small difference, you could just use trampoline socks, but my son wanted some a few months back at start of season as all mates had them. So I think he’ll be chuffed. But I might have missed the boat and this isn’t a thing anymore…?

I’ve just bought mine an old kerrang magazine featuring his favourite band.

Just twitched and got Loop 2 experience earplugs for the musician/gig goer and record player air freshner for DS1 car.
Will add a few worlds smallest games/stretch armstrong

I generally try to steer clear of tat, but I do like to put in something a bit fun or silly. I've just picked up a Professor Puzzle game called Burger Balance for my DS(16)...basically you have to stack as high a burger as you can with the little wooden pieces on a bottle of ketchup until it topples. I can imagine it keeping my son's amusement for a while!

I also bought him a Merffets Molecube puzzle. He loves a Rubik's cube and this is similar but different.

So many ideas from this thread - thanks everyone! Last year a 3 month Snack'd box subscription was a big hit. One for this year - Hismile toothpaste from Superdrug (lots of flavours including Biscoff)

@MagicalMystical 14 yo DS has also mentioned grip socks lately so still seem to be a thing - thanks for the link, that's one thing ticked off my list!
