I have two - 14 and 18

Apart from socks and smellies, unusual Korean noodles and sweets have gone down well in previous years, but I am really running out of ideas!

What we we got this year in case its Useful
Fidget/puzzle cube - one of the more interesting Rubik’s cubes might be good as well? The pyramid or 4x4?
Guinness world records
cinnamon bun bites
Mega bouncy ball
Lush shower gel
Nike beanie

StressedQueen · 17/11/2024 12:54

My 13 year old son is getting:

Mini lego packets
Chocolate orange
Key rings
Mini comb
Fuzzy socks
Gift cards
Mini Rubix cube
F1 car
Fountain pen

We basically then just cram the rest of the stocking with sweets and snacks that he loves.

How big are some of their stockings?!

Our literally fit a few small things in.

About a foot long and made out of really stretchy knitted yarn 😆

We only have tiny stockings - big enough for some deodorant, sweets, face cream chocolate etc.
The rest of the presents go under the tree.
Some people put everything in a stocking/sack.

@Arrwedancers
He's the polar opposite to my daughter, who has a hobby lending itself to lots of tat, plus a good interest in food, music, clothes... she is SO easy!

I think we may have the exact same children.

notbeenagreatday · 17/11/2024 13:57

Having read a thread from a previous year I've also gone with crimpits - toastie and wrap version for 15 year olds

Suck U.K. is really good for random stocking filler ideas

WhispersOfWickedness · 17/11/2024 14:51

@PureBoggin I'd ask if you were my husband but there's no way he'd put this much time and effort into thinking about Christmas presents 😂

Refillable mini "travel" atomiser for fragrances and some hair clay, it's all about the smells and look here.

WhamFantastic · 17/11/2024 16:41

Some great ideas here thanks!
Sadly mine have all outgrown Lego that was a great stage.

I always put in a new toothbrush or electric toothbrush heads. Other staples are Deodorant. Chocolates. Bath bomb and / or shower gel. Socks. All so boring.
I will look up the keyboard putty for sure thanks!

Made my boyfriend a gift basket with Nike socks, a cologne and aftershave set, a Greggs gift card, and an Ikea shark

I just bought one teenage grandson a six-packet of polos - he's always into my DH's when he sees them. And another one a six-pack 9f his fave choc bar, Twirls.

In the past, 'Bigfoot Undisputed Hide and Seek Champion" hiking socks.

And a Costa card.

Dolallytats · 17/11/2024 18:13

My 16 year old gets the usual smellies. I've got him a lego man shaped soap, cans of soda in flavours we don't get in the uk, just eat voucher. Ive previously got him an xbox voucher, pop figures, and a fork that says 'never enough mac n cheese' which is actually the most used present!! He loved mac n cheese and won't eat it without his trusty fork😂He's had figures that hold gaming controllers and headphones and every year he must get a new football...tis the Christmas law!!

EwwSprouts · 17/11/2024 18:25

Always gets chocolate sprouts, book, satsuma! (tradition to mutter about it being healthy). This year so far only skins for under shorts.

MariahHerself · 17/11/2024 18:41

This has reminded me to get keyboard putty! Just standard pants, socks, snacks, fancy deodorant and gaming vouchers here so far along with aftershave bits and an eyebrow groomer for one and an action figurine for the other so will watch this thread for inspiration.
