No I didnt unfortunately. I've mostly picked up from vinted and when I've bought new I tend to go to forbidden planet as they do 3 for 2. If you are looking online, world of books have alot secondhand and pretty good prices!

How old are they? I can ask dd for recommendations she has read ALOT of manga, I dread to think how much her bookshelves full are worth 🫣 she's been reading it for around 5 years now.

She hasn't, I have added it to the list! It says it's a Netflix film too!

@ArthurChristmas22 I’m exactly the same! So many bits for the girls but finding it much harder to finding stocking fillers for ds13 so very happy when i find any :)

I went real life shopping at a local designer outlet today. They now have a rituals shop where everything was a little bit cheaper than normal. They have some travel bits in a 3 for £10, includes shower foam, hand creams etc which I thought would make lovely stocking fillers.

@Lovemusic82 they have some reduced and offers like 3for2 on the warmies website. I keep checking as I wanted one of the Halloween ones but they’re not reduced which is weird!

Any ideas for a book for a 12 year old who is just getting into politics/current affairs? Since starting secondary school she has been very interested in what is happening in the news/the US election. She has also been learning about African stereotypes at school. I’m thinking she would like some sort of simple world history or politics book.

Wasn’t there an issue with this one year? I seem to remember ordering what I thought was 6 bottles (it says a case of 6 but pic is of 1 bottle) and only 1 was delivered. Then arguing with Amazon about it. I think I got 2 bottles in the end but customer service wouldn’t budge any further.

Would a subscription to The Week Junior be suitable? Think it’s a kid-friendly news magazine, but not sure of the age range

And the good night stories for rebel girls is good as it's all about inspiring women through history.
