So what supermarket substitutions have you had in your xmas shop? I was expecting a couple, but most were like for like...

This is the most annoying one:

Sainsbury's Milk Chocolate Yule Log, Taste the Difference 442g,
substituted with

• Sainsbury's Raspberry Sponge Roll, Taste the Difference 268g

@MrsEmmaKnightly my Tesco click and collect order emailed me a few hours before I collected and the substitutions were listed on there.

Mine is delivery rather than click and collect - wonder if that is the difference??

Like you, @MrsEmmaKnightly , I only find out subs when they are delivered. I understand Tesco is gradually rolling out electronic delivery notes, rather than the paper ones we get now. If you get them by email, you get them before the order arrives.

So I ended up with 35 items with no substitutions and 15 subs. I just accepted them but ended up with 7 bottles of 7up as apparently that's all they had.
