For the goddaughters I'd say maybe try and avoid amazon if they're a lefty Liberal family. Maybe some kind of subscription or experience. There are a lot of book, art materials, snack subscriptions available. Or something like go ape, or art class voucher?

You're quite right, and I think they are intensely anti-Amazon. I was just panicking about timings. Some good suggestions though, thanks.

John Lewis has lots of ted baker handbags on sale.

What are people doing about the missing Honestly Eco parcels? I emailed, got a reply straight away saying if it didn’t turn up by the next day to email back and request a replacement. It didn’t, I emailed and requested a replacement and haven’t heard anything since. Thankfully they were extra presents so I can cope without them but I’m wondering whether to start up a dispute through my bank?

Neom sale has started too

I picked up an illustrated version of Harry Potter following on a recommendation from these threads and just wanted to hop on to say wow!! It’s stunning, got it for £16, but looks so expensive, a real gift to treasure.

Thanks @PeachTea1 I've just bought one for a friend's teenage daughter. It's perfect.

Dinosaurs

These dinosaurs @£7.99 look like a pretty good deal. I haven’t bought them so not a personal recommendation but good reviews. I’m currently trying to stop myself buying them for dgs as I already have far too much.

Dairy milk is 2.99 just in case anyone still needs/wants some

Waystation · 18/12/2022 11:22

Re dairy milk - it’s £20 delivery so please don’t buy!

Mama1980 · 18/12/2022 12:33

Just to say my smashed grapes order arrived today. (Why I have Sunday post I don't know) it is huge and looks really impressive.
I got it for my daughters fiancé and think he will love it.

Flubadubba · 18/12/2022 13:12

@Mama1980 Same! I have a very happy husband who will have wine and charcuterie in front of the world cup.

Notherereally1 · 18/12/2022 13:16

Hairy milk is down to £3.99 on amazon!

Notherereally1 · 18/12/2022 13:17

Cancel that! I've added to basket and it's jumped to £22!

MummyMummyMumMum · 18/12/2022 13:19

Hello lovely Mumsnetters, I'm looking to get some last minute presents from Hotel Chocolat and remembered seeing a post about it at some point but have no idea when over the last it was!

Just wondered if anyone knew of any please?

There were a load of up to £25 of vouchers and a Velvetiser for £70 if you're a VIP member. Not sure what's still working. Also worth checking Quidco and Topcashback for festival although usually on the pre vat prices. I think they sell some at Lakeland and dobbies too if the official one won't work for you. Also cheaper delivery.

BloodyMabel · 18/12/2022 13:40

The people that are receiving their smashed grapes, were they cancelled and £30 vouchers received or did you get notified they’d been despatched?

Gladysrocker · 18/12/2022 13:50

I’ve just picked up Hot Wheels racing set in Morrisons, £19.50 down from £65!! I’ve just checked and it is actually £65 in Argos.

No voucher, dispatch but tracking didn’t work. 2 arrived, 2 haven’t

InfinityOrUndefined · 18/12/2022 14:10

@BloodyMabel I ordered three and one got cancelled. I received two and there was shipping information.

mac1974 · 18/12/2022 14:12

Some good advent calendar sales on selfridges. There's some HP Lego, Playmobil, hotwheels, funkopop & schilech dinosaurs ones. Might be useful for putting away for next year. There's also loads of skincare ones.

TofuonToast · 18/12/2022 14:16

Can anyone recommend a onsie for 12yo boy? Can’t find any in shops!

MamaOdie · 18/12/2022 14:22

I had booked to go to The Hyde Park Winter Wonderland this evening with the kids, but sadly two of us are ill so we can’t go.

would anyone like the tickets? They’re for 18.00 today, have entry tickets, slide, ice palace and the wheel. Free to a good home - Feels like a way of repaying the thread for all the fabulous bargains I’ve got this year!

The Disney storybook advent calendar is now £5 on Amazon. I have just bought one to split up for DD birthday party bag fillers.
