For those of us that received the candy kittens advent bundle just loose in a box, how are you all wrapping them? I'm really struggling to present it in a way that doesn't look like I've just gone to the corner shop last minute and bought a load of sweets!

LostMyUserName · 19/12/2022 11:15

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl someone mentioned Next for 4XL clothing.

Can anyone recommend any board games for a 9 year old please? Ideally a bargain and available on Amazon as it's a last minute add on gift!
Thanks!

@threelittlebearcubs look up the tabletop curling game on Amazon. There’s one for £9.99 and it’s amazing. We got it recently and are having loads of fun with it, so bought it for others this year too.

I have a 20% of £50 spend at Lakeland which needs to be used by midnight tonight. Was holding on for something to come back I stock but it hasn't!

Not sure I'd its account specific but if you'd like to try it, let me know and I'll DM the code.

BloodyMabel · 19/12/2022 12:41

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl Also Boohoo men do large sizes and lots with band names/characters on if he likes that sort of thing.

Always codes for money off/delivery too.

If you want to go expensive Ralph Lauren large sizes always fit nice.

Scout2016 · 19/12/2022 13:23

How often do things on Amazon drop in price, is there any rhyme or reason to it or just keep an eye open? Kicking myself for not getting the Wintertide Bear book when it was reduced as looks like niece's gift might not be here in time (magazine subscription) but her brother's has, and that would have been a good stand in.

princesssugarplumfairy · 19/12/2022 13:28

@Wallaroo21

Tk maxx and Aldi both so simple knitting sets and patterns. ALDI's are scarfs or hats with pom-poms included. Tk max had similar and other stuff too. Patterns seem to be symbols rather than loads of writing if that helps

Ahhhh I need help! My brother and his fiance are on the other side of the world (working visa) for a few years and has announced our packages will be with us Wednesday 😫What can I send digitally, is there anything more exciting than amazon or nintendo eshop vouchers?!

Local restaurant with online vouchers? Depending where they are obvs.

Grawlix · 19/12/2022 13:34

I’ve been trying to find this on their website so I can link, without success, but Muji have good deals on at the moment on scarves and some clothing - I’ve just bought (for myself!) a really nice ‘reclaimed cashmere’ stole - that I’m going to use as a scarf - for £14.95. Reduced from £49.95 so a real bargain! If anyone’s near a Muji and needs small last-minute gifts….

BloodyMabel · 19/12/2022 14:26

@Blessedbethefruitz im thinking it’s somewhere hot? Maybe an outdoorsy experience voucher, vineyard tour or something?

Penguinbeaver · 19/12/2022 14:46

Can anyone recommend any small wooden puzzles or logic puzzles that come in a set and can be separated please?

Threeboysandadog · 19/12/2022 14:55

Disclaimer - I only have boys but I thought this Lottie doll and pony looked like quite a good deal.

Stelmosfire1 · 19/12/2022 15:04

Bargains in my local Morrisons, I’ve bought lots of the HP stuff for a hamper I’m making for DD10

Busy Books reduced on Amazon

Famousthehero · 19/12/2022 15:36

Lots of the Bomb cosmetics bath bomb crackers reduced to less than £6

nice token gift/stocking fillers if you split. I’ve got one but going to watch as I can’t remember how low they drop.

caz198917 · 19/12/2022 15:47

Might be to late to the game now... but Any switch deals about? Thank you

SugarCookieMonster · 19/12/2022 16:13

Big Bang Theory Trivial Pursuit on Amazon for £9.75 with delivery on Wednesday at the moment. It’s a little cheaper (pennies) elsewhere but good for a last minute gift.

PokemonPasta · 19/12/2022 16:37

Thought this would make a good 'oh shit' present. Virtual art classes. christmas30 gets 30% off

Eggmcmuffin · 19/12/2022 17:02

Boots have the Dyson supersonic hairdryer on odder for £255 for the cheapest colour. I think that's pretty food drom a quick google? Tempted to buy it for me from my husband as he's bought me nothing yet so no chance of any presents otherwise 🙄

LemonFrosting · 19/12/2022 17:54

I don't suppose anyone knows if the supermarkets are going to do the 20p bags of Xmas veg like previous years?
