I thought you were queueing Peter Kay tickets which is approximately where I started for those, after around 45 minutes discovered they had all gone about 30 minutes earlier🤦‍♀️

It probably depends where you live but before I had a delivery it used to become impossible to park at supermarkets where I lived and the roads were chocks. Less cars on the road and people parking at and filling up supermarkets is a good thing all round I think.

I did change that to chocka but it went back to chocks!

Call me stupid, but to do a morrisons xmas order, do I need to fill my basket and then reserve a slot or can I just reserve the slot?

OhMaria2 Reserve the spot first, then make sure you checkout before the time they specify (usually around 2 hours), or you will lose it.

I usually reserve, then find some whisky or something over £40, then checkout, then go back and amend (edit with Morrisons), then you can add to your heart's content and only have to checkout again by 11pm the night before delivery.

I just switched from my other social media to here and genuinely thought you were all queueing for Taylor Swift tickets.

I got a load of “something went wrong” on every page and even now can’t book past 6 Dec so I see myself going in at 8am on the 22nd or something!

What is this for?
I’ve used Tesco Click & Collect every 2 or 3 weeks for years, even before Covid & have only ever been able to book an order slot at a maximum 3 weeks in advance.
I’ve just looked at my Tesco app now and can only book up to Tuesday 6th Dec. There aren’t any dates available after that yet.
What dates & how are you all booking for that you need to be in such long queues?

Do you have a Delivery Pass? If you do, the. You should be able to book up to 23 Dec (if slots are available). If you don't have a Pass, then slots will become available next week (Tuesday, I presume).

I’m not aware of a delivery pass, how would I get one for click & collect?

go to delivery saver and choose Any time click and collect

Being old fashioned I set my alarm clock for 5.20 so I was on Tesco website by 5.30 where it was all normal. I nipped to the loo and came back to find I was 828 in the queue! Checked on the app on my phone and was 10,028! Really crazy! Once years ago Tesco said slots would open at 6.00 in the morning and they opened them at midnight sneaky!

It is about 'queueing' for a Christmas delivery slot with Tesco. 10259 was the place number in the queue when the OP started.

And this is for delivery pass.imagine next week!

I would select and checkout with anything in your basket as soon as you can.get that order confirmed as yours.
then go back in and Amend.I say this because the sites tend to crash lots this time of year due to footfall.and so you could lose your timed spot opening.
by only needing to amend you will never lose it as it just times out where you were.
then try and get as close to your basket as possible so your not then having to fight with a glitchy site closer to the time
