Thread 9 - the one with stocking fingers

@6poundshower thanks for the title. A stocking finger sounds far too small to fit many bargains in though! 🤣

Apologies for belatedly setting this up - was at a primary tour for potential school for ds and then working. Pesky RL! Hope you can all find me.

How to do click links -

Do two [[

Paste in your link without a space between the [ and the start of the link
Do one space at the end of the link
Write what you want to appear instead of the link
Put 2 ]] at the end without a space between the end of the word(s) at the end and the ]]
So it looks like www.reastieschristmasbargains.co.uk click here but with no space between the and the start of the link and the next to the here

I hope that makes sense…

Present tracking apps might be of interest eg Santas bag, gift list.

Here are some useful websites:

Amazon free delivery tool here

Aliexpress www.aliexpress.com here . Useful tips here from sorryiasked: Aliexpress is a Chinese site that sells everything! Assume all branded stuff is fake. I personally wouldn't buy baby toys or electronics from there as I don't have faith in the product safety. But for fan merchandise, dolls clothes, "lego", household items etc it's great. Check the size guide on clothes and lower your expectations!
Use a seller who has a 4.5 star rating or higher.

You can pay via PayPal and there is an excellent tracking system, but be aware express postage is usually 2-3 weeks and standard postage up to 2-3 months.

Bargainmax here

Camelcamelcamel is a brilliant site that tracks prices on amazon here

Lisa angel sale is popular when on, apparently arrive nicely packaged too here

Magazine subscription offers here and here

Netpricedirect has discount toys and party bits here although be aware reviews of the site is mixed

Toys for a pound here

Any additional websites or recommendations to add - just let me know Grin . I should add something about Ali express maybe as we’ve had that before…will get my brain thinking about what other sites/products have been popular.

Yay new thread, picked up frustration £9.99 in home bargains

Microwaveexpert · 03/11/2022 14:54

My local lidl had a lot of advent calendars in today. Lots of chocolate ones, maltesers, galaxy and a Thorntons one.
Also these Yankee, hot wheels and book ones at good prices.

Sorry the book calendars were 9.99, didn't realise you can't see that in the pic

Someaddedsugar · 03/11/2022 15:03

Not a bargain but F&M are offering free delivery with £100 spend - very rare 'discount' from them.

Liberty have up to 30% off

MsMiaWallace · 03/11/2022 15:05

No thread yay!

TheBigFish · 03/11/2022 15:06

@Microwaveexpert what Thorntons one was it please? I usually treat myself to the continental one but I don't think they are doing it anymore 🙄

Ye Gods, the disproportionate level of anxiety, seeing the old thread closing, and no new one to relentlessly refresh on tea break!! I need to get out more. Much more Grin

polmnlj · 03/11/2022 16:40

I got coffee and cake for two. Prosecco would have been good but the time we go there is in Dh working day so coffee is better.

Same and £10 off £75 hamper spend (code is HAMPER10 if it’s transferable).

That’s JL and M&S now - think I’ll have to open my craft gin club order at this rate!

Notherereally1 · 03/11/2022 16:53

I think I seen on one of the previous threads but can't remember, I'm looking for the subscription razor's for my DS and DH. Can anyone remember or direct me please?

Thatsasmashingblouseyouvegoton · 03/11/2022 16:57

Stacking Chair game is in my local co op for £3.

Theraffarian · 03/11/2022 17:06

Don’t think it’s been mentioned but this site has a MSE code MSEAUTUMN Everything is not £5 anymore ! The code gives 5% off which isn’t worth shouting about , however the site is very cheap , and the code also gives free delivery . I’ve just realised it works on their sale items too , so spent an enormous £1.90 including delivery on a jumper that I will probably use as a PJ top !

SpottyBumPony · 03/11/2022 17:06

I'm looking for a big cuddly Pikachu if anyone sees a bargain I'd a appreciate it

Raindancer411 · 03/11/2022 17:09

I'd be looking at Aliexpress, they have loads. This is about the latest I'd order from them though.
