@Haudyourwheesht yeah I think codes for smyths are few and far between but to be fair the items my daughter wants aren't cheaper anywhere else & some of the items are on offer at smyths

NoWordForFluffy · 26/08/2022 12:57

I had an email from Bargainmax yesterday, saying there's an extra 25% off loads of toys. I didn't go on to see what, but could be worth a look?

I think Gabby Dollhouse will be very popular. My 4.5 yr old niece is obsessed with Gabby and those cats

My DD loves it too. I'm not so sure it's a bar again but George, Asda are selling some figures for it.

There’s a sample sale at Latelita (jewellery) but you’ll have to be quick. Items from £10 and many have sold out already.

@scout2016 I know you were interested….

I just got a few items, including a 22k rose gold bracelet for £10 with free delivery 😀. Couple of presents sorted.

Latelita sample sale

Thank you for this, there are some lovely bits. Do you know if there’s a way to get free delivery too? Mine said free (one item) but then stung me at the end. There must be a minimum spend surely?

How did you get free delivery?

Martinisarebetterdirty · 26/08/2022 13:47

I got free delivery on the jewellery site automatically, I did spend £80 though 😳

EverydayIsPJday · 26/08/2022 13:50

@IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile I ordered from the OPBC on 20th, had a tracking code added yesterday and it arrived just now by DPD.

That may be why. I was only going to buy my daughter a little necklace as a stocking filler.

really hate spending £4 on postage when it’s only £10!

mac1974 · 26/08/2022 14:00

Ive never heard of latelita jewellery. Feels like I've been missing out. Some beautiful bits on there.

Mariecat1970 · 26/08/2022 14:29

Christmas chocolate tubs (celebrations/ heroes/roses/quality st) are £4 in Asda but if you have their new rewards app you get £1 back in your ‘cash pot’ so works out at £3 each.
Cheapest I’ve seen elsewhere is Tesco 2 for £7 so £3.50 each.

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 26/08/2022 14:35

Loads of fairy doors, garden stuff etc in the Olive & Sage sale - they have a few discount offers but have stated you can only use one per order. The codes I have are:

15% off everything in stock with HOT15
25% off sale items with EXTRA25

NoWordForFluffy · 26/08/2022 14:43

The little radios were a failure. I was told they were only dispatching one and the other was on back order. I needed a guarantee that I'd get both, so cancelled. Ah well, it was a good idea!

CookieCoo · 26/08/2022 15:00

Half price stockings from Pottery Barn Kids UK:

Yalz · 26/08/2022 15:10

The usual warning about reading descriptions carefully. The jewellery on Latelita which is described as gold in the main heading is actually sterling silver “dipped” in gold, at least all the items I checked were. A bracelet described as silver is stainless steel with rhodium plating.

Still good prices for what they are.

MerylSqueak · 26/08/2022 15:11

Does anyone know any good tips for discount on Vans online? It has to be the actual company. I signed up for the newsletter ages ago but there's only ever publicity, no codes.

AlabamaWorley22 · 26/08/2022 15:31

Agree with reading the description carefully but they do both solid gold and dipped so just check what you’re buying.

I only spent £30 and I got free delivery but actually the free delivery was showing when I had two items for £20 in my basket.

torthecatlady · 26/08/2022 15:38

Just browsed the rest of the Pottery Barn website after looking at the reduced stockings... Yikes, beautiful stuff but definitely out of my price range!

Ehunt1 · 26/08/2022 15:40

I just added the pottery barn stockings to my basket. I estimated shipping……..£12 for postage!

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 26/08/2022 16:04

@EverydayIsPJday that's really helpful thanks. I'm a day behind you then so hopefully will hear something soon, I must learn patience!!

Travelplans · 26/08/2022 16:08

Hi all, not really Christmas related but I need your bargain hunting skills. My dd has been invited to her first birthday party from nursery and I need to order presents for twin girls turning 4 I believe. Anyone seen any bargains which would be suitable?

Elpheba · 26/08/2022 16:08

@IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile i got a shipped email on the day I made the order but then got another shipped email today- so hopefully something will arrive soon!

Willow4987 · 26/08/2022 16:14

@Travelplans why don’t you look at the orchard toys games in aldi? Believe there around £3 each. They make a nice little gift

DelurkingAJ · 26/08/2022 16:27

I’m an unpaid volunteer and have just had a link to the following from my local council (so I’m happy it’s legit!). For anyone who works or volunteers for a charity a free discount card for a range of retailers. I confess I haven’t yet done a deep dive into the t&c.

TheBigFish · 26/08/2022 16:44

@IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile I ordered day after you, shipped email that night and nothing since but hopefully will get something soon going on the experience of others.

TheBigFish · 26/08/2022 16:46

Thanks @ClaraLane for the bunting. Just ordered for god daughter and a friend's daughter. So pretty.
