Seasalt have an extra 20% off sale items. They have some lovely canvas shoppers which would make a good base for hamper or teachers gift.

Quick22 gets 22% off Look Fantastic but only until 5pm tonight.

AlabamaWorley22 · 26/08/2022 08:32

I would say it’s typically still around early September from memory but someone else may know more.

Possibly not something anyone can answer but DD wants the Gabbys Dollhouse Playhouse this year. Anyone take guesses on how popular they think it might be this year?
I'm torn between just buying it now, or waiting to try to get a bargain and risk stressing out trying to get it!

Just to add my daughter also wants Gabby dollhouse for Christmas.

Wasnt sure but now thinking it will be popular!

Online Home Shop have some thermal curtains in their clearance section. Very cheap and reviews are good.

Willow4987 · 26/08/2022 10:05

Thanks everyone for the good deals! So far I’ve got the chocolate shaker and gin deal!

EvilHerbivore · 26/08/2022 10:05

Aldi also have some Harry Potter Lego in at around £15 that's still £35 on Amazon

I need to buy my kids new waterproof trousers and coats. We’ve had the Lidl Lupilu ones that have lasted the previous few years and I want to buy them again.

does anyone know when Lidl have the waterproof kids stuff in the middle aisle? I think I got them in September time but that was a few years ago.

I love the waterproofs, need some for DS and I think they’re normally around middle of September.

25% off gorgeous bunting this weekend https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/BuntingTreasures

I’ve bought so much lovely bunting from this lady and she’s got 25% off this weekend. She does all sorts of bunting in amazing patterns, we’ve got Happy Birthday, Happy Easter, Merry Christmas and both kids’ names plus I’ve bought it as gifts for lots of people. Can thoroughly recommend her!

There’s a sample sale at Latelita (jewellery) but you’ll have to be quick. Items from £10 and many have sold out already.

@scout2016 I know you were interested….

I just got a few items, including a 22k rose gold bracelet for £10 with free delivery 😀. Couple of presents sorted.

Anyone after gabby dollshouse it may be worth signing up to the entertainer's birthday club for 20% off voucher. They email the code 3 week before the child birthday so put the birthday at least three weeks from now.

Found the Beano offer someone else posted - one free Beano per user (email)

@JubileeTissues Glad you got the bargain Nerf gun, still umming and ahhing for one of my children.

Glad the Amazon code worked for you @Magik01

Sorry it was me that posted the satin pilowcase seven sins set on Asos and accidentally wrote silk - sorry, they actually have five colours in stock to represent five of the deadly sins, but I bought the pink one - lust, to match my daughters room decor. I wouldn't have paid £25 for the set but it's a nice gift for a teen. As an aside, When looking it up I saw lots of sites saying satin is better for hair, it feels softer, is as hypoallergenic and is easier to wash than silk incase that sways anyones decision on price. ASOS have had lots of sales and their mystery codes over the last few months so I would think £15 or less will happen again in future.

UrbanMage · 26/08/2022 10:49

@ClaraLane I just used the sale. 19 things for £31 is a proper barg. And they arrived all nicely packaged and smell amazing!

Fat Face have a pretty good sale in my local store - better than online. Some lovely gift bits as well as clothes. I got a necklace for my niece for £5 down from £14 and socks for £3.50

UrbanMage · 26/08/2022 11:05

Thanks for the Beano link/idea. Dd loves a comic.

In a similar vein we get Lego free magazine in the post every three months. It's completely free and Dd gets so excited when it comes. It's great! Granted it's one giant advert, but I think that it's a great idea from Lego.

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 26/08/2022 11:16

Those who have received their orders from The Original Party Bag Company, can I ask how long it took between dispatch and delivery, and who the shipping company was? Mine was marked as shipped on the 20th but nothing since! Thanks.

Martinisarebetterdirty · 26/08/2022 11:26

@AlabamaWorley22 That jewellery site is amazing! I’ve just bought a load of extra presents for people (and a couple slipped in for me too ooops), thank you!

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a discount code for smyths toys. My DD has her birthday in oct and she's done a list. Wasn't sure if they did a birthday club type discount like the entertainer do.

Scout2016 · 26/08/2022 12:23

Thank you @AlabamaWorley22 !
You weren't wrong about being quick, a necklace practically vanished before my eyes while my DD had a tizz about something! Thanks for thinking of me.

Thanks to free Beano poster too.

Haudyourwheesht · 26/08/2022 12:26

Just came in to post the Smyth's Toys thing but I've been beaten to it. I didn't see a single discount in Smyths last year despite pretty obsessive watching and had to pay full price for DD's dollshouse.

AlabamaWorley22 · 26/08/2022 12:46

@Martinisarebetterdirty glad you managed to get something. They do this a couple of times a year - I missed out last time as I was in a meeting 🙈.

Before Christmas you will probably also get a text with a £15 voucher code - usually no minimum order, so ideal for some of the smaller items for gifts. I got some £19 earrings last year for £4 and realised you could use the code a couple of times with different email addresses…. Nb in an earlier post I said it was a £10 voucher but realised after checking my messages from last year it was actually a £15 voucher so even better.

the stuff comes beautifully presented too so it’s a lovely gift.

@Scout2016 sorry you missed out - i trawled back through the threads looking for your name to tag you 😂.
