first world Christmas problems..

I have to work on Christmas Eve until 3pm.
I cannot find another roll of my favourite wrapping paper.
I don't know what I want for me under the Christmas tree.

What are your first world Christmas problems?

I've inadvertently wrapped some of my presents in non recyclable paper so I either have to rewrap or be vigilant on Christmas morning not to put it into the recycling box

I'm working until 6.30 Xmas eve and DH is working Xmas day.. (both NHS) we're both knackered and have done no Xmas shopping at all.

You've all just reminded me of the million things I still need to do, especially the eco wrapping paper and crackers. If it helps I've just found some nice Kraft recyclable wrapping paper on offer at Argos/Habitat.

If anyone has recommendations of nice crackers that are not full of plastic tat I would be forever grateful!

Amazon have refunded me for DP's gift because it's delayed 'but may still arrive'.

Now I don't know whether to find and order an alternative or give it a few more days just in case.

@KurtWildesChristmasNamechange that’s a great idea! I’ve got a clear wipe clean plastic tablecloth for my big kitchen table from Next. A roll of wrapping paper under it would look great for our buffet Xmas Smile

I can’t be bothered to put my tree and decorations up. I’ve been ill with pneumonia and normally mine would be up by the 1st of December so I’m very late, and now I can’t be arsed.

My first world Christmas problem is that we've used every electrical socket in the house because my mum loves tonnes of sparkling lights and can never get enough...fortunately the strings are all LED so we're saving a bit of energy...just waiting for the Space Station to call and ask if we could tone it down a bit.Xmas BlushGlitterball

Morrisons are doing a Rudi the Reindeer which Ive accidentally sampled and it was pretty good! Just cut off his head and feet if needed? Grin

Buy Disposable table cloth or disposal table cloth roll from Costco and wholesalers. Rather than covering the table in wrapping paper as it'll crinkle and won't lie flat.

I needed to buy 4 things the same for 4 people for presents. I left it too late. And they will all know who gets what. I could get the 4, but of different sizes. Now I have to work out who gets which size Hmm
