Conception:

MaryfromNazareth

I've just had the strangest visit ever. Some bloke in a long white dress, with wings just popped and and told me that I'm pregnant. Is this a new Clearblue product that I've not heard about? Is it, and if so how soon is it reliable? Bit worried as I didn't actually pee on him.

Come and tell me what you think of these names!
If it's a girl - Jade-Kasey or Billie-Sue
If it's a boy - Kai-Konnor, or Jesus-Christ.

Be honest!

Teenagers

ds has 12 lovely little friends but I don't like one of them - we'll call him JI. He is shifty looking, and there's something untrustworthy about him. He's got this money box and is always trying to kiss ds. Should we try to avoid him?

CremolaFirCone · 17/12/2007 18:00

don't know boco- he might get teased at school with kai-konnor.I'd stick to Jesus. There are no Jesus's at dd school so it will be quite original

AIBU

My SIL has just had a baby boy. Now, he is beautiful and she did have a tough time over the birth, but they way she is going on about him you'd think he was the Son of God!

She is doing my head in, and if she shows me that Gold one more time, or asks me to sniff the Frankincense I'm going to go postal. AIBU?

Elaborating on WTs...

AIBU: to not want to invite all DS's classmates to his birthday party?

Argh! DS has got 11 little friends and most of them are great, but I really don't like this kid Judas. I didn't want to invite him to DS's birthday do, but some busybody mum has made the school have some ridiculous "no exclusions" policy on birthday tables...

The Birthday Table Thread Part III

So DS's school allow a child and 11 friends to have a special birthday lunch. It's DS's birthday next week but he has 12 special friends, should I leave one of them out?

WewishyouaBUMPERLICIOUS · 17/12/2007 18:09

X-post LL! Oh dear, are we all so predictable?!

Hi I'm new. My name's Elizabeth. I've just found out I'm going to have a baby, my husband didn't believe me and now he can't/won't speak to me. Too top it off my cousin is also having a baby. I really hope she doesn't use my favourite name, John! What is it with relatives and DH's?

MarsyChristmas · 17/12/2007 18:13

to top it off.... to!

Bocohohoho · 17/12/2007 18:14

There's a boy in ds's class who gets to sit on the birthday table and turn school lunches into loaves and fishes and wine for all of them, while the left out ones have to sit and watch while eating smash and overcooked peas. Do i tell ofsted?

health

my son keeps on touching all the city's lepers and undesirables and I'm really worried about the effect it's having on his health. Should I be worried?

MarsyChristmas · 17/12/2007 18:16

AIBU: I pay my lads a decent wage to watch my flock and they all b*ggered off last night. It was so bright a blardy fox could've made off with the lots of them. Would it be unreasonable to fire the blimmin' lot of them?

Bocohohoho · 17/12/2007 18:16

AIBU: Some old bloke brought round some myrrh or something for my precious newborn. But it's not organic. Is he taking the piss?

TenLordsaLapin · 17/12/2007 18:22

Legal/Money matters

DF and I have booked this really cool venue in Cana for our wedding next year. It's expensive but we figured we could afford it because DF has got this mate who can turn water into wine. Now the hotel are saying they are going to charge us corkage! Surely they can't do that?!

WanderingHolly · 17/12/2007 18:23

Behaviour/development

My ds keeps telling stories. He says they're not lies they're "Parables." Where has he got this word and how should we punish him?

CremolaFirCone · 17/12/2007 18:24

don't invite children.it will save shekels
