Merry Christmas folks. Dinner went well considering it had to be rushed. The ward is reasonably sedate so far long may it continue.

I put dinner back a bit till after DS and DH watched a Ryan Reynolds film (some rubbish for them to bond over /cough together over )

Ate dinner after dark , then phoned DMum for a chat .

Watching some Christmas tely now before Eastenders (maybe Philth will get arrested , I;m sure he muttered the immortal words Best Christmas Evah . Bound to put the kibosh on it )

We've just played a new game of fridge Tetris: the Tupperware edition! I've Dysoned the dining room and the two loads of washing we did (new clothes / bedding plus what darks were in the basket) are in and airing in there now (nigh-on dry, as it's been really windy here today).

I'm sitting with a Bailey's watching Shaun the Sheep. Might go back to cross stitch shortly.

Oh, slight present disaster as 'Santa' managed to bring DD a Lego set she already has. Luckily John Lewis will take it back still, so I've ordered a replacement for her. Good job she only half-believes in Santa! 🤦‍♀️🤣
