I liked it. Not quite the bear and the hare but still sweet. Adore the song though, one of my favourites.

It looks like it cost a fortune. Considering that they’ve closed 16 stores this year, I think they should’ve been more mindful and re-released one of the previous iconic Christmas adverts.

They keep doing these awful ambient covers.
Just stop it. It’s played out. I actually did like the Lily Allen one but it was like 8 years ago. It’s also annoyed when that bank with the horse does it.

Wow she does not look 14! In the first few shots I thought she was a grown woman. I found it creepy and not at all Christmassy.

I'm really surprised they are both 14. I thought he was about 12 and she was 17/18. It's Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic all over again.

They are both good actors but its just poor casting that she looks so much older than him. He looks prepubescent and she looks like a young adult, Thefact you never see any parents for her but you see his, reinforces that she is meant to be a young adult. You don't expect that a 14 year old will cross the galaxy unaccompanied!

Just from her costume here, if they need someone to play a young Tilda Swinton from Lion Witch and Wardrobe, Rafiella would be perfect!

Bland and dull. But for me the kicker is the absolutely dreadful JL standard 'breathy' cover of a classic 80s hit. One of my favourite sings in fact, now spoiled.

Can you imagine the auditions.

My favourite xmas ad, which after many viewings still brings a tear is the Apple 'misunderstood' one

I thought it was uninspiring and I'm usually a sucker for the JL adverts. The alternative advert was even worse. Completely cliche-bound and self-indulgently sentimental. Shame, as ordinarily I think they're really great.

I quite liked it! I love that song, but wish they had used the original instead of the cookie cutter fey female singer.
