If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Thanks so much for all your great ideas!

My tiny contribution is that my tesco had Aquabead blind bags reduced from £4 to £1 in the party section. Nice little stocking filler I thought 😊

Puffalicious · 01/11/2021 21:22

Thanks for the Marvel ideas. I'm not a Primark shopper but will nip in.

Clementine8 · 01/11/2021 21:24

Thanks to @recklessgran i have actually started my bargain shopping. Now to decide what to get for everyone else

Minionbums · 01/11/2021 21:26

hot diamonds has stock in the outlet section at 50% off. Code 303030 works for 30% off, then code JEWELS stacks to give free delivery. Just bought two pairs of sparkle heart earrings for £15.75 each, were £45.

These are the ones I got but there are other earrings, a necklace, and other bits and pieces in the outlet. earrings

The diamond is minuscule but the jewellery is very sweet and comes in nice packaging with a gift bag and everything.

Be careful - I tried to checkout by clicking the ‘checkout with PayPal, button and it kept putting the price back up. I went through the whole checkout process to get the lower price. So keep your eye on it.

Not bargain related at all, but where is the referral thread everyone talks about putting things on?
I think I’m getting lost on the multiple options to put things Blush.

Christmasmcchristmasface · 01/11/2021 21:39

@Clucket87 it’s always linked to in resties second post at the start of the thread

mummyof2boys30 · 01/11/2021 21:48

Is there ever a free delivery code for mandm direct

takethattime · 01/11/2021 21:54

Candles

TSV on QVC. Easy pays too.

Borris · 01/11/2021 21:59

Thanks @Minionbums I've just bought the same for my goddaughter. She'll be over the moon with them

TheGriffle · 01/11/2021 22:04

Does anyone know the cheapest place to get the normal LOL dolls? Dd has put them on her Christmas list. She doesn’t need the latest ones or anything but I could do with with 2 or 3 cheap ones for her to unbox as she does actually play with dd1’s old ones.

CarrieMoonbeams · 01/11/2021 22:15

Evening all! I'm hoping that those of you with DC between the ages of 9 to 12yo might be able to help me please.

I'm buying a gift for a boy and a girl for a local charity. My budget is around £30 in total.

Pyjamas, books, jigsaws and some sweets are specifically mentioned (not as a 'rigid' list, but just suggested for people like me who haven't a clue!)

I'll buy a pair of pyjamas each from M&S, it's 2 pairs for £15. Would anyone be able to recommend a nice book for a boy and/or girl within my budget please?

Thanks in advance.

NigelSlatersXmasTaters · 01/11/2021 22:20

@CarrieMoonbeams the Ickabog and the Christmas Pig?

Thank you.

Rockhopper81 · 01/11/2021 22:23

@CarrieMoonbeams

Amazon has a lot of books on 2 for £7 at the moment - I've bought some for my niece and nephews.

I know it's not a book to read, but we love the 'Draw with Rob' YouTube videos, and a couple of his books are in the offer - you could put them with a packet of coloured pencils (as they seem to have space to draw the pictures in them too)?

Jessiegirl · 01/11/2021 22:24

Does anyone know where I could get a typewriter for my DD11? She loves writing and has set her heart on a proper old school typewriter.

wavingwhilstdrowning · 01/11/2021 22:25

Boring bargain ahoy! Lloyds Chemists have a Black Friday sale with big savings on heat pads. The cushion - reduced from £69.99 to £28 is lovely, I have one at work and have ordered one for my daughter.

Squeezita · 01/11/2021 22:27

Which one do you have @wavingwhilstdrowning ?

brightwhite · 01/11/2021 22:28

@TheGriffle the entertainer had the big present box of the LOL doll reduced to £19.99 and it was included in the 15% off sale items when they did that.

Not sure what offers they are doing now but I heard it's a good LOL gift.

wavingwhilstdrowning · 01/11/2021 22:29

@Squeezita this one, it is very cosy indeed, much nicer than it looks in the photo lloydspharmacy.com/products/beurer-hk48-cosy-sofa-heat-pad?variant=33091983933503

Squeezita · 01/11/2021 22:33

Thanks waving

EveLe · 01/11/2021 22:34

@buckeejit

Has anyone seen any boys polo necks please?

Ds is 12 on Saturday & is a bit emotional as he's just found out he wants a polo neck jumper instead of the turtle neck he requested! If anyone has seen any real shops with boys polo necks, please could you let me know 😃

@buckeejit what sort does he want? Next do older boys polo shirt jumpers, they call them knitted polo shirts. The ones with the mock shirt collar are very smart, but they have lots of different types, and you can order online for store collection.

@CarrieMoonbeams
The Train to Impossible Places is supposed to be good for that age group and suitable for either gender.

As they're fairly close in age what about a board or card game they could play together/ with family? Uno flip or monopoly deal are under £5 on Amazon - you could get PJs, a card game and book each for just about within your budget if you're careful

Coldilox · 01/11/2021 22:42

Any Smyths codes knocking about?

Coldilox · 01/11/2021 22:46

Ooh and while I’m here, Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears (my niece’s favourite perfume) is down to £18.50 from £40 on Amazon

Clicky

Oldmrswasherwoman · 01/11/2021 23:06

Thanks so much @Minionbums - DD has just has her ears pierced and these will be perfect!
