If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@ChiaraMontague did you want the samples to be fancy branded ones because I've done one of the fold flat make up bags for my Dil and then nabbed a whole load of samples of perfume, make up, lotions & skin care from Avon the current offer is 3 samples for £1.00 pick and mix and theres loads of things to choose from.

Avon Sample Shop

Moonshine5 · 01/11/2021 19:50

@invisiblecats
I applaud this. Excellent idea for gift

MydeamonsanOstrich · 01/11/2021 19:50

Does anyone subscribe to Story Time magazine?

Wondering if it would make a good gift for DDs 7th birthday next month.

TheGriffle · 01/11/2021 19:54

@sittingonacornflake thanks for the Asda code. I’ve ordered 3 x baking trays, the 5 pan set and a roasting tray for £56 with the £10 off. Bargain considering the 5 piece set is £65 full price. I’ve ordered it to be delivered tomorrow so let’s see what actually turns up or what they sub them with if they don’t have them in.

sittingonacornflake · 01/11/2021 20:00

@TheGriffle that's one hell of a bargain. I got the pan set about 6 months ago for £55 and thought that was a Good bargain at the time!

SpamIAm · 01/11/2021 20:02

Galt rainbow lab is currently only £7.60 on Amazon

Deal: Galt Toys, Rainbow Lab, Science Kit for Kids, Ages 5 Years Plus https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06XDN7Z88/ref=cmswwrawdoonavTaadl93T3Y5PHDV6N37DFK3WT

There's also Family Circle biscuits for £2.

Ventured out in to the real world today. Saw this doll and fancy dress set in Home Bargains for £7.99 which I thought was a really good price.

Then, very much not bargainous, M&S have a 1.5l bottle of gin liqueur which lights up AND plays music for £40. Blood orange flavour I think. Also this candle with LEDs that light up when the candle is lit for £9.50.

My 6 year old ds has asked for a puppy or a baby brother 🙈😳

Seventeen Minutes Have 15% off with code XMASGIFT. They do lovely gift boxes of treats like nice chocolates, face masks etc. I particularly like the Book Boxes and have gifted a few. Also previously bought a box including some cashmere socks which went down really well. They were a one-woman little business but have since been bought and I've not ordered from them since (just haven't needed to), customer service used to be great though and it looks like the products are still the same.

Someaddedsugar · 01/11/2021 20:07

@Ironess that's made me laugh so much!

Picklesbaby · 01/11/2021 20:07

We've had it for about 5 years via grandparents & have been keen to get rid for more than a couple. Mine much prefer NatGeoKids & the bayard's ones (story box etc) at 7yr old. The mysteries in time subscription was a hit for that age too.

Thank you so much! They’re still £99 though 😢 The money saver in me is crying at the thought of spending £99 instead of £75. Why can’t DH just change his shoe size?! Grin

Dobble is down to £7.79 on Amazon. I was going to order it from Asda for £8 but this is cheaper and prime delivery so coming tomorrow Smile

Changingagain · 01/11/2021 20:15

Ironess oh no Grin that did make me laugh though. I hope you can move him onto something else quickly, I'm guessing a toy puppy or baby wouldn't cut it?

EvilHerbivore · 01/11/2021 20:42

I missed the Lego mini figures website with the 'alternative' names, could someone point me in the direction of it please?

gaggiagirl · 01/11/2021 20:45

Those asking about user experiences of pictionary air it's really difficult. Paper and pen much easier. It's a great gimmick and a nice idea but it makes the game impossible. The images you draw in the air don't turn out well on the tablet. Hard to describe really. I think it's fine for its current price for a bit of fun.

SapereAude · 01/11/2021 20:47

www.scentsamples.uk.com/
This is an excellent site for perfume samples. Have used them (far too) many times.
4160 Tuesdays also sell samples of their own perfumes (tbh, I'm not keen on theirs)
Nose.fr offer 5 or 6 samples for about £10 (not sure post Brexit if they will still ship to the UK though)

This is for pp looking for samples (sorry forgotten name!)

hookedonharibo · 01/11/2021 20:49

@Fuckingfuckssake

Hi, I don’t suppose you have a cinnamon one left, do you? I’m after one for my daughter.

Minionbums · 01/11/2021 20:53

@EvilHerbivore they aren’t ‘official’ Lego figures but they’re brilliant quality, my DH is really picky and loves them. They do unusual ones you can’t get from Lego as well. It’s www.werebrickinit.co.uk/.

They did have a 20% off code but I think it’s finished now.
