If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

I still have the Matalan £15 off a £75 spend code if anyone wants it.
Sorry but the £5 and £10 ones have gone.

Silversilverstreet · 01/11/2021 17:26

@Fraine

How do you select the free Penhaligon’s samples?
If you follow this link it takes you to the profiling page. If you go through all the choices it offers (which I found mildly entertaining) it comes up with two fragrances for you.

There may be a way to choose the scents yourself but I haven’t investigated that.

Silversilverstreet · 01/11/2021 17:33

Did you go through the link I posted above? The links to the other pages are on the top of the page, on my tablet at least.

I ordered a few things (ahem) from them last year, I agree the the Penhaligon’s website is difficult. Adult DS(2) explained to me then that pre-pandemic their business was all about personal service in their shops and it wasn’t really geared up to trading online.

Silversilverstreet · 01/11/2021 17:37

My last message was in reply to @PinkDaydreams’ post about not being able to get to to the home page, but this link may be more helpful.

They have put a message on the website that all the samples are finished! Must’ve had a rush after your great tip!
Notlongnow1 · 01/11/2021 17:41

@janeyjimplin what about the 13 storey treehouse series - they are on 143 storeys now so a good few books! Lol

WhyDoesItAlways · 01/11/2021 17:45

The penhaligans offer seems to have ended. I couldn't get past the first bit of the selector tool and now when I try it says all their free samples have gone.

Hi all. I'm really struggling to get my head in to Christmas and haven't bought a single gift yet ☹

Ds2 loves the captain underpants books but I've read them all to him. Can anyone recommend a similar, potty-humour type book series i can get him? He has autism. He's loves humour but the likes of David Walliams are too verbose/rely on word-play that confuses him.

Try the Mister Gum books: they're VERY funny.

Does anyone have any suggestions for advent calendars got an 11 month old?

Her brother is having Lego mini figures in his

We have an empty one for her, no idea what to put in it

Gigglechristmas · 01/11/2021 17:50

Amazing ideas here thank you. Wondering if anyone has seen a great deal on a really good espresso machine? (Not capsule, could do beans or ground)

xmasdealhunter · 01/11/2021 17:50

Rituals are doing a free sample offer, you just have to sign up to their mailing list. It looks like a lip balm or handcream, so could be used as a stocking filler or for an advent calendar

Before I go real life shopping, has any been into or passed a Lindt shop and seen if they have released their pick your own advent calendars yet?

Their website has the standard advent calendars but I want to get my daughter in law a calendar with an assortment of Lindt in it. She loved going into the shop with me last year and choosing her chocolates and as it was such a hit, I wanted to do it again.

@billyandemily no cupcakes I’m afraid

I did grab an extra latte & 2 extra cinnamon buns if they are if any use? If not I’ll see if anyone else wants them or take them back x

@sittingonacornflake

Another £10 Asda grocery voucher for £60+ spends for new and existing customers: ASDAXMAS10

Notable bargains to combine with:

Scoville pans: lots of non stick options on rollback and the already bargainous set which is down to £35

Buy 6 bottles of wine get 25% off

Thanks for the voucher. Doesnt seem to include alcohol (I added bottle of baileys to make it £60 and it didn't work, added 3x tins of roses and it worked)
