If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@Araisaris

Thanks Reastie. I’ve been away for a few days and missed a full thread so sorry if this has already been discussed. Has anyone had the bargainous Boots photo advent calendar yet? I ordered on 8 October and still haven’t received mine.
Hi @Araisaris was it the Boots 3 for 2 photo advent calendars? I ordered 4 on 15th October and picked mine up from store on Saturday - I got a dispatch email but no email to say they were in store so I took a chance and asked for it whilst I was collecting another order

You should be able to put your order number in here to check

Have just bought a Lego kit each for my parents, both in their 60s, but they buy themselves what they want, so are really difficult to buy for! I'm a huge AFOL, and they always buy me a kit, so figured I'd return the favour - the bonsai tree for my mum (colours will work in the lounge!) and a technic jeep for my dad (who builds plastic models, so just another medium to build in really!). The vouchers on Amazon, coupled with already reduced prices, bought it to just over £55 for the two, which I was really pleased with.

There have been quite a lot of good deals on Lego this year, between Amazon, WHSmiths and Argos!

Araisaris · 01/11/2021 15:25

@Justhereforthechristmasthreads thanks, I’ll pop in to Boots to check if it’s there already.

Haha I’ve just done similar- the flowers for DMIL and the bonsai for DFIL! As you say, what to get them is always a problem and I’m actually feeling very chuffed with myself (and a great bargain!)

So I’m trying to get the last few things off dds list , she has asked for a baby bath for annbelle , it’s £40 on smyths but not in stock for home delivery or collection for 100+miles . Does anyone know anywhere else I can look for one ?

She has also asked for a drawing octopus ?! I have attached a picture of the one I think she means but that is also out of stock if anyone knows where I might find one thank you 🤦🏻‍♀️

I am now the proud owner of a planet and earth squishmallow having not realised I needed them. Local aldi only had 1 each of those and couple of astronauts left. Thankfully dd said she didn't like the latte or cupcake anyway.giving one to dd now to cheer her up as currently has covid and keeping other to one side for days for Christmas.

RonaldosShirt · 01/11/2021 16:21

Does anyone know if Lush ever do discounts?

5Minions2CallMyOwn · 01/11/2021 16:21

Does anyone please have a code for Timberland by any chance?

DH has said he’d like Timberland Euro Sprint Trekker Boots and I can’t find his size anywhere apart from there. Elsewhere online they are £75 but on the website they’re £105- so a big difference! Gutted 😞

I think that’s your problem - I am never eligible for them either! They don’t need to tempt us to buy!
sittingonacornflake · 01/11/2021 16:26

Another £10 Asda grocery voucher for £60+ spends for new and existing customers: ASDAXMAS10

Notable bargains to combine with:

Scoville pans: lots of non stick options on rollback and the already bargainous set which is down to £35

Buy 6 bottles of wine get 25% off

Sadly they don't offer discount. The only time they have a sale is from boxing day to sell off the Christmas stock.

Hi all. I'm really struggling to get my head in to Christmas and haven't bought a single gift yet ☹

Ds2 loves the captain underpants books but I've read them all to him. Can anyone recommend a similar, potty-humour type book series i can get him? He has autism. He's loves humour but the likes of David Walliams are too verbose/rely on word-play that confuses him.

livinginhope87 · 01/11/2021 16:54

@Carrie76 I am looking for a Minecraft primark oodie in age 9 feel like I have been unlucky in each branch I have been to! Sorry if I have misunderstood but do you have one spare? I am not having much luck this year with this and the aldi squashmallows

sorryiasked · 01/11/2021 17:11

@JaneyJimplin have you tried the Dirty Bertie ones?

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 01/11/2021 17:17

I can’t remember who I was discussing North Face coats with a few threads back - I decided to bite the bullet and get DD the coat she wants so signed up for the 10% off for new customers. Didn’t work. Tried a UNiDAYS code, didn’t work. Emailed them confused and got a reply today saying ‘oh yeah, soz it doesn’t work on that coat as it’s very popular - you can buy anything else you like though’
I’ve never heard of that kind of rule before, it’s really put me off now. They are on TopCashback with 4% but I don’t even trust that to work now.
I’ve been ruined by this thread, I tell ya.

Dragonbreath chapter book with fabulous comic style drawings (the same author's Harriet Hamster Princess are hilarious but require a knowledge of traditional fairytales & acceptance of them being played with)

Hilo comic book

Has anyone seen any boys polo necks please?

Ds is 12 on Saturday & is a bit emotional as he's just found out he wants a polo neck jumper instead of the turtle neck he requested! If anyone has seen any real shops with boys polo necks, please could you let me know 😃

Gracesquirrel · 01/11/2021 17:25

Just diving on to say a huge thank you to whoever posted the link to Brickin It website - I bought some figures for my (adult) son that fit in with some films and characters he really likes and they have just arrived and are sooooo good!! I'll even get brownie points for them being small so won't take up too much space in his display cabinet! Thats made my day!! Thank you.
