If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Those who have used the football 4 u site, is it normal to place the order then wait for a PayPal invoice to complete, or have I done something wrong?
I can't lie I'd probably be running a mile if they hadn't been used by lots of people on here, and if I couldn't pay through PayPal....

Daisy829 · 04/11/2021 18:45

@Someaddedsugar no probs. Glad it arrived safely xx

Dreamingofwalden · 04/11/2021 18:46

Wow! Thanks to @Tightsonmyboat for the speed track suggestion and @rainingcats for the discount code. I had struggled to choose anything for my uber destructive toddler. I had bought a Hot Wheelsset but decided to put it away till next Christmas. This has a definite wow factor for a car obsessed little one but also looks pretty practical.

I feel exactly the same. Still wondering if it's embroidered, but at that price I reckon not.

Reindeer piñata to fill with your own treats £11.89 (was £13.99).

Christmas Eve box £16.14 (was £18.99)

Peter Rabbit Christmas Sack for £15.29 (was £17.99)

Also interested in the quality of the football shirts, just paid £70 for a PSG shirt for Ds today and the footballsbest website had the Ajax Bob Marley shirt that I can’t get hold of anywhere so very tempted.

I'm so impatient! Why are they teasing us like this??!! Blush

@Karatechopp my dd 15 started with pallets from Revolution and now uses morphe. Both are good quality and often have deals running. She is also a big fan of the clear lip gloss from Barry M.
She also like the Benefit mascara and brow gel.
You could put a little selection together in a makeup bag and include some garnier micellar water and reusable make up remover cloths.

Oh I feel a trip to Aldi coming on in search for squishmallows 🙈

Just bought DD the Rainbow High doll house for £149 from Smyths.

thaegumathteth · 04/11/2021 19:09

Sorry @Puffalicious I was talking about whether ds could be convinced to have the away rather than home shirt. I've no idea about embroidery etc

thaegumathteth · 04/11/2021 19:10

@spudjulia any info on the badges etc?

Adelais · 04/11/2021 19:11

I went to my local Aldi tonight and they had the planet and astronaut squishmallows but not the cupcake or cinnamon bun ones I was after. I might check again at the weekend.

FoolShapeHeart · 04/11/2021 19:24

For anyone who has the speed track mentioned above, would it work with Hot wheels track? I know I'd need to find a way to connect them, but if they're the same width & depth there's a launcher my dc would love.

RJnomore1 · 04/11/2021 19:32

@Puffalicious totally agree about £95 tops...

Trustpilot or one of the review sites I looked at earlier seems to be a mix of lots of 1 star and lots of 5 stars but that’s for customer service etc so I can’t decide if everyone just knows they’re fake, orare they last season or something perhaps?

@fourquenelles

Just dropping in to say that Willow and Stone are still doing their £4.50 wrapping paper. It makes fabulous wall art in a 60 x 90 IKEA or similar frame.

www.willowandstone.co.uk/stationery-prints/

If you filter on price 0 - 5 it brings up all the wrapping paper. I have the flamingo paper up on the wall at the bottom of my stairs. The paper is really thick and super quality. My DD has asked for several for Christmas to decorate her house.

We have these and Ikea frames. They’re such a good cheap way to get a big impact.
Puffalicious · 04/11/2021 19:42

thaegumateth Ah, I see.

RJnomore1 they're 21/22 kits so definitely not last years'. I'm not sure how they can operate, really.

spudjulia Is the badge embroidered or printed on your DS'?

SpamIAm · 04/11/2021 19:46

2nd December is a bit late for their wooden toys - come on Lidl! I've been holding out for their wooden till for one of my nieces; wishing I'd bought the Aldi one now 🙈

I ordered shirts from footballsbest4u.com/ after recommendations on one of the bargain threads. Amazing prices but long delivery times. I got them personalised and the quality is great. I can't tell the difference between the official one I ordered that cost £75 and the bargain one I got for £20

I'm considering ordering quite a few of these football kits. What actually is the difference? For example, is the badge actually embroidered or is it printed? These kinds of things make a difference to my exacting teens! Thanks.

I've got the kit out to inspect it, and I'll try to put some photos on. I bought 'official' Man U shirts in sept for my kids, paid £75ish each for shirt and personalisation. Then I saw some posts on here about discounted ones. My kids don't support Man U, it was a bit of a random present - my dad was a huge supporter and he died this year and I sort of felt that he'd have bought the kids a Man U shirt for their birthdays, so I got one for them. Anyway, that's not the team they support. So my youngest told me he wanted a Chelsea kit for Christmas, which is what I've ordered from fb4u. The quality seems exactly the same to me, but I haven't got the eagle eyes of a teenager. The badge is embroidered, the details are embroidered (Nike logo for example) and even the tags look official. The personalisation (our surname) is printed on the back, exactly like the 'official' one. Let me try to upload some pics. No idea if they're fakes, or just from the same factory that make the 'official' ones, or whatever.

To my untrained eye they look like proper kits. I don't think my son will notice any difference at all.

Jinglebells21 · 04/11/2021 20:02

Is there a boots code floating about please? Or do boots even do codes? I'm after the ordinary skincare set for my daughters hamper for Christmas. It's priced £25 but I don't want to pay full price 😆

Yes, this is what I did. I was a bit anxious about it as its not exactly standard! But I figured it was worth a gamble at that price.
Lovemusic33 · 04/11/2021 20:06

My local Aldi had loads of squishmallows and most of the wooden toys (the sushi set looked great) 😊
