If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@butterflymum @PolkadotsAndMoonbeams

Thanks both. I've just spotted these which I think would make a perfect starter set with a palette i purchased that was linked a few days ago.

I could also use some recommendations for make up for a soon to be 13 year old! She has started becoming interested in make up and fashion and I haven't a clue as I've used the same foundation and mascara for years and live in leggings haha

I ordered my sister some small glass bottles of ready made cocktails but they’ve arrived in a horrible box. Has anyone seen a lovely box of a way of displaying them. I’m going to put a nice glass in there. Any other ideas for cocktail accessories or things to put in there greatly appreciated. Just want to make it look nice

Puffalicious · 04/11/2021 17:00

@thaegumathteth

Thanks *@spudjulia* sadly they don't have the scotland home kit
I'm looking at the away kit, it looks lovely. I think I'll order. Could you persuade the recipient on that one? It's a bargain.
IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 04/11/2021 17:07

@MydeamonsanOstrich oh yes, we've definitely done plenty of homemade marble runs as well! But then I have the task of trying to tidy it away/recycle it and that can be a bit difficult for my ASD son (he has a lot of attachment anxieties..). At least with the speed track I'll be able to roll it up and hide it away in the cupboard!

xmasturkey · 04/11/2021 17:09

Does anybody have any WHSmith codes, please? I need to get wrapping paper and some books.

fourquenelles · 04/11/2021 17:13

Just dropping in to say that Willow and Stone are still doing their £4.50 wrapping paper. It makes fabulous wall art in a 60 x 90 IKEA or similar frame.

www.willowandstone.co.uk/stationery-prints/

If you filter on price 0 - 5 it brings up all the wrapping paper. I have the flamingo paper up on the wall at the bottom of my stairs. The paper is really thick and super quality. My DD has asked for several for Christmas to decorate her house.

Could I be so cheeky as to ask if anyone has a Sports Direct code? Would take the sting out of a pair of trainers!

Waveafterwaveslowlydrifting · 04/11/2021 17:22

My free Gruum washbag arrived today and looks great. I'm putting it in a sports and fitness hamper (with the cooling towels of course!) for FIL. Thanks to whoever linked it here.

I've been given my work secret santa 🎅 and it's someone who needs a confidence boost and to realise how fab they are, who also loves nice stationery. Are there any nice motivational type notebooks or other stationery items about please?

Typo is fabulous and humorous. Sainsbury's always good value and lovely.

Piccola toy shop (independent shop) has a good variety of lovely Christmas items currently reduced here they also have other non Christmas toy items reduced on their site.

They're a great small business if you're looking to support them rather than spending at Amazon.

Ck91 · 04/11/2021 18:05

You can now get A5 calendars on Photobox for £3 which would make lovely gifts. However, if you want a bigger one Vodafone usually do a code for a free A4 one and you just pay postage so it might be worth waiting.

Ck91 · 04/11/2021 18:09

Sorry forgot to add the code A5CAL3

Puffalicious · 04/11/2021 18:14

spudjulia

I ordered shirts from footballsbest4u.com/ after recommendations on one of the bargain threads. Amazing prices but long delivery times. I got them personalised and the quality is great. I can't tell the difference between the official one I ordered that cost £75 and the bargain one I got for £20

I'm considering ordering quite a few of these football kits. What actually is the difference? For example, is the badge actually embroidered or is it printed? These kinds of things make a difference to my exacting teens! Thanks.

thaegumathteth · 04/11/2021 18:22

@Puffalicious unfortunately not Hmm

RJnomore1 · 04/11/2021 18:24

@Puffalicious I would assume they are fakes at that price?

Puffalicious · 04/11/2021 18:25
@Puffalicious unfortunately not Hmm
Is that about the embroidered badges? If so that's a shame.

Someaddedsugar · 04/11/2021 18:31

Thank you so much @Daisy829 - the earth squishmallow has arrived and it is amazing! DS will absolutely love it. Thank you so so much again!

Puffalicious · 04/11/2021 18:34
@Puffalicious I would assume they are fakes at that price?
I would assume so, but then again I wondered how they can operate so clearly online if they're fakes? Morally I avoid fakes as the money inevitably funds criminals activity, but if this is a proper website that other MNers have ordered from I wondered if it was different? The football clubs charging £95 for a kids' football kit are criminals themselves in my view!
