If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@DockOTheBay

Thanks for the speed track suggestion, I've been looking at hot wheels but its all very prescriptive (and expensive!) and I want something my daughter can be a bit more imaginative with, so this might be perfect
Like I said previously, it looks pretty basic/simple but my 4 & 5 year olds love it. (so does every adult who has ever been here when we've played with it) me and DH have definitely played with it when the kids are in bed Grin
sittingonacornflake · 04/11/2021 06:48

@Tightsonmyboat I know that wasn't directed at me but wow thank you for mentioning speed track. Can't tell you how perfect that would be for my DS.

NoWordForFluffy · 04/11/2021 06:51
@BellsaRinging thanks for the laithwaites heads up, I've ordered (well, had to order to my mother's house Grin)

For anyone else ordering, to make it extra bargainous:

5% cash back through TopCashback

Lloyds bank is offering 20% cash back if you activate the offer and use your Lloyds bank to pay

It comes with 4 free tumblers which always seem to sell well on eBay, I think I usually get around £12 excl postage when I sell the laithwaites glasses on there.
Airtime Rewards has 10% if you don't have the offer with your bank. Not sure if they'd stack (surely not?!). Though cash back and AR do, so who knows?

MerylSqueak · 04/11/2021 06:51

Laithwaites did a similar offer last year. Can anyone who got it tell me what the wine was like?

Thank you for pointing me in the direction of speed track.
Never heard of this before but it looks perfect for my four year old.

There is a discount code - OCF2021 if anybody else has been inspired to purchase!
I'm tempted to buy a 6m at this price Blush

It's such a simple idea but it is excellent fun! Pleased others are finding the suggestion helpful Smile

Ps, I am in no way affiliated, just found them on Instagram when I was searching for car tracks for my DS.

NoWordForFluffy · 04/11/2021 06:59

I've put my Airtime Rewards referral code on the referral thread if people aren't signed up yet.

Cluckycluck · 04/11/2021 07:04

@MerylSqueak

We got the Laithwaites Black Friday deal last year and have had lots of boxes of wine from them since. I definitely recommend them. I've even got their red wine advent calendar this year.

sittingonacornflake · 04/11/2021 07:04

@MerylSqueak very lovely actually. Particularly the cabalie which is absolutely fabulous and remains my favourite red.

sittingonacornflake · 04/11/2021 07:06

@rainingcats how much is that discount code for please? (For the track)

rainingcats · 04/11/2021 07:17

What site is the discount on play?

PinkDaydreams · 04/11/2021 07:30

Please not play sorry!

MydeamonsanOstrich · 04/11/2021 07:31

@Tightsonmyboat speed track looks perfect for my 3 year old. And packs away small enough to put in a kallax box when not in use, which is awesome. Thank you.

MydeamonsanOstrich · 04/11/2021 07:32

@Bezzi I just googled... can't so clicky links, sorry!

Tightsonmyboat · 04/11/2021 07:34

Speed Track for everyone asking, OFC2021 gives you 20% off and free delivery. This discount makes the 6m cheaper than what we paid for the 5m a few months ago. Hope that helps!

Tightsonmyboat · 04/11/2021 07:36

Sorry discount is OCF2021 Blush

PinkDaydreams · 04/11/2021 07:41

Thank you! Can I ask what you stick it to as I have shutter blinds on window so won't stick to that and wooden doors which I don't think will stick to either.

Lovemusic33 · 04/11/2021 07:43

Just bought dd the Amazon fire stick for £16.99, I think it’s just the basic one with Alexa voice but it’s something she asked for so she can access Disney +. www.amazon.co.uk/s?ref=nb_sb_noss_2&k=Fire+stick&tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Also got the playdough sandwich toaster on Amazon for £5

Off to Aldi in a bit to see what wooden toys they have 🙂, is there anything else in Aldi to look out for?

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 04/11/2021 07:51

The Melissa and Doug latches board is down to £12.99 on Amazon this morning, if anyone is looking for a toddler present, that's a bit different, at a good price.

PhantomErik · 04/11/2021 07:52

Lovemusic Aldi have some squishmallow toys that are really cute for £7.99 each if that would suit any of your recipients?

Tightsonmyboat · 04/11/2021 07:53

uPVC front door and extend it out into the hallway, also found it sticks well to flat tiles so have also used it in the bathroom. Sucker on it seems pretty strong.

NoWordForFluffy · 04/11/2021 07:56

For anyone who has an M&S Sparks clothing discount, it works on the 2 for £15 pyjamas, where the 20% off kids' pyjamas code didn't, the other week. I just got 2 pairs for £13.50. Bargain!

PinkDaydreams · 04/11/2021 08:11

Gutted the 5m speed track is sold out :( my house is only small so I think the 6 m would be a bit too long
